Wrong section to post a question, if you take a look at the android and original android development forums theres plenty of kk roms with detailed guides and descriptions.

You mean the main 'android development' forums? not the specific Oneplus 'android development' forums?

No the specific oneplus ones, like the one you have just posted in here.

I see, I know there is this list of ROM but I want to have a ROM suggested to me, I don't want to check them all by myself, plus, most of the ROMs there are 5.0.x or 5.1.x so that's not helping me..

So you want others do your homework?? There are tons of kk Roms in development section just read the threads and you'll get your answers.

So much development in that thread

I suggest trying Mahdi ROM ... BTW Wrong section to post a question. Please do in QA.

What is a good ROM?

Hi, I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGH-T989) for T-Mobile and I might be switching to Verizon and getting the Samsung Galaxy S3. I rooted my S2 and installed the Jedi Mind Trick only a week ago and love it. I had no lag or issues other than an app or 2 crashing. Basically, I want to see what everyone is using for this phone and carrier (Verizon/SG3)...Is there a ROM called the Jedi Mind Trick here for this S3 on Verizon?
Thanks in advance...
Wrong section and there are already numerous threads asking for ROM recommendations.

Development section is only for ROM and kernel release threads. Your question thread should have gone in the Q&A section. Plus there are already quite a few threads asking for ROM recommendations or what ROMs people are running. Search the general and Q&A sections a little and you will find the threads and perhaps get an idea of what ROM you might want to run based on the responses in those already existing threads.

1) wrong section.
2) how hard would it be to look in the development threads and look to see if that ROM is available? The search button really was created for purpose not just looks .
but this phone is great, you'll love it, and there are a number of wonderful ROMs to choose from.

Find the forum for your device then post your work in a thread in the Android Development section if you've used things from other devs or the Original Android Development section if you've built the ROM entirely yourself. Note however that if you only 'customised' some ROMs (as you said in your post) then you shouldn't be posting any work at all without contacting the original dev and getting their permission (and, to be honest, probably shouldn't really release the work at all IMO).

[Q] CyanogenMod or the Samsung Stock Firmware? What is the best Android ROM for Tabs?

I have tried CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android, Pacman and many other ROMs on my galaxy tab 2 7". CyanogenMod is light and fast. I like it. But the official stock ROM is more pleasing and easy to use. Have many features that I need. Its really hard to choose!
What the heck is it with all the "best ROM" threads lately? Please, not another one...
BTW, is there a way to report a thread from Tapatalk? Dont seem to find it...
This comes down to personal preference. End of discussion.

When you find it, please let me know. I've just resorted to sending a pm or hoping @name isn't turned off for them.

[Completed] [Q] Rooted Moto G

Hi,
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but this forum is just so huge that I don't really know where to start.
So I bought a Moto G this year, rooted it and got xposed installer on it etc etc..this was a few months ago.
It's also been a long time since I've really been into getting more out of my phone. My question now is, is xposed still the
"big thing" to have on your rooted phone or is there something new/better out there now? I don't need anything super sophisticated,
just something that has a few options like changing your interface etc.. So yeah..Am I still good with Xposed or is there anything new
and if there is, how do I "uninstall" xposed and install this new software/app/..
Thank you!
Kind regards!
Hi,
Usually the best options are custom roms with their extra customization options on some, or stock and xposed. You don't see anything on customizing stock rooted other than xposed.
You can ask for other opinions here, or use this section for any future questions or issues,

Good luck!

Hi,
Thank you for your reply, I found a ROM that I would like to install, but I don't really know how to get started? And if it makes a difference that I already have xposed on my phone?
Just read the rom flashing instructions usually in post one.... Or first couple. Or else you need to ask in the thread I linked. ?

Ok, thank you alot for your help, I know these are some newbie question. Just one last one, I'm looking for the offical Cyogenmod, I've used the search function, but I only seem to find unofficial ROM versions of it?

You can ask in the unofficial thread. But usually if there is no official version, it's cause CM doesn't officially support the device. But a Dev created one for your device anyway. ?

It is hard to say, there are tons of kernels. But if you are new you must be using oxygenos os or cos12.1. So according to your system you can try boeffla oxygen/cos kernel.. But of course you need to unlock your bootloader, flash custom recovery and then flash kernel. Then you must try to tweak your kernel inside some app (boeffla has own noob friendly app). If you search, you will all information you need to succesfully install custom kernel and profit from it.

Just a little advice. Forums are just as much for reading as posting questions. At the top of the General section, you'll see a sticky called:
The "What is the Best or Favorite ROM/Kernel" Roll Up Thread
That's the best place to find people's opinions of the various ROMs available. Also, questions shouldn't get posted in the General section. We have a help / Q&A section for that:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/
Cheers,
CK
