Hey guys,
I am having problems with my LG G2X phone. The ROM I am currently using is Eagles blood ICS rom. Anyways whenever I try to make a call I hear this weird clicking sound and the person on the on the end can't hear me. I have tried this on multiple roms and they all have the same issue. When I revert to my stock ROM everything works. What is the cause of this clicking noise and what can I do to solve the problem? HELP!
Hello,
I have installed the nightly CM for p725.
Now I have loud call echo and the caller side. The caller also hears button clicks or any noise my phone makes.
I have read a bit about the problem and it looks like the nightly cm doesn't support the second, internal mic this phone uses to disable echo.
I've heard the original phone.apk might solve the problem. Thing is, I don't have it - can someone please upload the original phone.apk?
If anyone has any idea how to solve it I will appreciate it.
For some reason I can't recover to the original lg rom. for now I'm stuck with the nightly cm.
Ideas?
My Nexus 5 microphone does not seem to be working while in calls. What is strange is it seems to work jsut fine when used in Skype, suggesting that this is a software issue. Also strange is that when I turn the microphone mute on/off during a call, I can hear that when the microphone is muted there is less fuzzy white noise. Has anyone encountered this issue? Is this a defective device? I've flashed this device with alternative ROMs, and now I've reflashed it with the factory stock ROM. But nothing changes the behavior that I've described.
I discovered another thread on this that seems related to what I am experiencing: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2538979
Have you done anything to the device other than ROM flashing (flashed kernel, MODs, etc)?

I think the answer to that question is no. I mean, I had also installed various apps and the like.

Yep, you have the problem many people have encountered with their Nexus 5. I occasionally have this issue. It isn't as bad as when I first got the phone, but the microphone does occasionally go wonky during a call (i.e. callers on the other line say I sound really far away from the phone). The first 2-3 weeks I had the phone people would say all they heard was static while using the microphone (not speakerphone). It works better now, but the static/distant sound persists at times.
The consensus suggests it seems to be a software related issue that Google has not addressed yet.
I have the moto G xt1032 and am running c-rom 5.6.
My problem is that since I started flashing custom roms on my device I can't adjust in call volume and the quality of voice on my end is really bad(high pitched sounds just about blow my ear drum and it sort of screeches). The buttons are fine as I can still adjust media volume no problem and I have also tried restoring to stock but the issue remains. I have had a lot of android phones and know what I'm doing but not seen anything like this before. Any ideas on what the cause is would be most helpful.
Hello everyone,
I have some trouble with my Mi4.
When I make a call, the other party is hearing me too low. Is there a way to boost the mic?
It's really annoying.
I tried to change the noise-cancelation setting in the Sound menu to single microphone- no improvement.
I am on latest Official Stable Release (not the development releases).
:/
same problem with me...
It sometime happen to me i think problem with noise isolation
Even i have the same problem. Mic stops working when battery is below 50%
Me too ~~
