guys finally after getting few scratches from samsung clear case i decided change my S6 Case. As i do not like bumpy cases there were very few options for me. finally found this amazing product which sticks to the phone itself and do not take any extra space at all. Hence we can enjoy the beauty of our S6 and give it maximum scratch free security it has a state of the art technology where the bubbles will go off automatically in 2-3 days and is very easy installable. they have two models only screen and full body. i bought full body protector for Rs. 899 as there was an offer in their indian website. This included the installation kit too. But i would recommend to purchase the Full body protection excluding the installation kit for Rs. 799 as it can me done easily with soap water.
Procedure for installation
1)There will be separate films for Screen, Back of the phone, Two sides, Two tops and Small Joining pieces ( it covers the entire phone and it is strechable to an extent).
2)Clean the devices surface thoroughly of all the dirt if any.
3)Spray the solution if you ordered installation kit or insert the film in soap water and stick to your phone.
4) clear of the bubbles with a plastic card, like your credit or debit card
VOILA done, and if there are any bubbles thats still there, will be removed automatically in 2 to 3 days
Highly recommended for those who do not like bumpy cases.

Whether he's a owner or not, I've used these for my Nexus 4 and one of my Moto X 2014s; the matte finish does wonders for finger prints/extra grip and the clear screen protectors are pretty clear and smooth for being wet apply. Probably gonna get a matte back piece for my GS6.

Case + Scratch Guard
Hi Team,
Since SGR doesnt sport a Gorilla Glass display, which is the best combination of Case + Scratch Guard to protect it?
I've already ordered case mate barely there. Quality of CM is usually very high.
About screen protectors- so I haven't seen/tested any good one. All of them are cheap, self-adhesive **** impossible to apply and avoid bubbles. Either Zagg or Copter doesn't support our device yet, but maybe some of you found a decent one?
EDIT: I've just given a shot to this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150684872722#ht_1976wt_1026
According to users' opinions it gives a decent protection for perfect price.

I only buy matte screen protectors off eBay.
Usually i got for the cheapest **** there. I cannot tell the difference between a $20 and a $1 screen protector.
The best way to put on the protector is to apply it right after removing the original protector that comes when u buy the phone brand new.
I know i know.....Most of u buy the protectors AFTER u buy the phone.
I've always bought the protectors and case before i buy the phone hahaha.
Nevermind this.
Next, never use the microfibre cloth **** they provide for free.
Usually the cheap yellow cloth they give is useless.
I have 1 from Ray Ban, 1 from Swarowksi, 1 from Oakley.
Use the best u can afford. The difference is great !
Wipe down the entire phone.
Careful never to touch the screen.
Some ppl apply a few drops of water on the screen for moving it after applying.
I dun.
Make sure no dust or specks.
If any, use a sticky tape.
Dun peel of the whole screen protector.
Follow this method....
This is similar to how i do it.

Cheers !
Thanks a lot mate!
I've usually followed all steps you wrote but always some small piece of **** goes under the film and as a result I get unremovable bubble, so I don't trust those self-adhesive protectors. I've already used 5 of them (cheap **** between 2 and 7 USD) and never succeeded I've always had better luck with zagg's invisible shield, i mean those applicable with water.
So you have to buy a Swarovski Crystal for 1000US$ to get the cloth and then be able to clean the screen.
hehe... just joking....
Good guide.
I used Vikuiti screen protectors in the past and found them very good
I don't see the ones i used before, but they have several ones for the Galaxy R

If u get **** under the film just before setting it down, lift up the film and use sticky/celo tape and pick it up. then continue laying down the film.
Only release the film down completely when u cannot see any dirt specks between screen n film.
User a tooth pick/hook/pin....anything that will not leave stain or grease.

Agreed that CaseMate is one of the best quality for cases. Which type would be good enough to withstand accidental drops? Rubber/Jelly/Hard Case?
Also, is there a suggested brand for the screen protectors? I require one that is scratch & fingerprint-resistant.
Read online that Matt-type protectors make the screen look dim! Is it true?
Thanks in advance,

For accidental drops, I've found TPU and Leather cases the best.
They stay on the phone after the phone drops.
Hard cases, either plastic(coloured type) or polycarbonate(transparent type) with pop off the phone when dropped.
Matte protectors are finger-print resistant but allows about 80%(just my guess....so dun sue me if found otherwise) of light to pass through.
Clear screen protectors allow almost all the light(99% my guess) to pass through from the screen output.
The worst is mirror screen protector which allows about 60%(my guess again) of light.
All the figures are based on the fact the screen brightness is at maximum n only an assumption.
So it all depends on ur requirements and needs.
Cheers !

Sure you can apply water to everything...but some of protectors just won't work (known from my own experience)
Some of them are applicable with water some of them (mostly the cheapest) are not. I tried to apply the latter with water anyway...and they ended up in a thrash can

What actual options do we have here in the UK?
(most interested in full body)
Please do not merge this with the "master list" as that list is not relevant to us.
Sorry, what?
I've order mine from bestskinsever.com for two sets for under £11 including delivery
Anybody found any decent, reasonably priced ones?
Ordered the pack of 6 from Germany on ebay and they are god awful, guess you get what you pay for!
Would prefer dry application ones

I use the same. Best ones out there. If applied properly they last forever and don't get marked like normal ones. They don't get scratched.

Review of G Google Nexus 4 FULL BODY SHIELD Invisible Screen Protector Front + Back
I ordered the same.
Pros:
* It fits perfectly fine.
* Looks sturdy.
* Application was easy.
Cons:
* Not smooth for sure. rubbery feel is reducing the feel f the phone.
* Back glass doen't look as glorious as it could be.
* Considering the cost they could send a spray to make the application process easier.
I hope its helpful.

Guys I wonder if you can help, I need a protector that covers the whole screen, the two ive tried are approximately 5mm to narrow (same as the factory fitted protector) I take it the reason being its because of the curved screen, the protector would lift, if cut to the edge.
Does anyone know of such a protector that allows for the edge curve and fits perfectly?
Thanks

I'm wondering about that too, so far the screen protectors I've seen don't cater towards the rounded edges of the screen. Instead the tend to leave a blunt cut just before the screen curves.
I personally don't like those either. I was looking at Martin Fields protector as I had one on my Galaxy Nexus and my Nexus 7 and both worked fine. I am worried about the protector lifting though
So every time I purchase a new phone I go through the same process.
I spend a significant amount of money on a screen protector for it then to scratch and realise it's more effective to keep buying cheap protectors.
Well..... This time is no different, £30 on this screen protector. I have placed the phone in my pocket a few times where there is no grit or anything that should scratch the screen and it's got light scratches......
Never again :')

File a claim with them. They will replace it. Their customer service SUCKS at their best, but keep at them. You paid good money for what was suppose to be a good product. If people keep letting companies get away with this crap, companies will keep on doing it to you...

You can try keeping a tiny piece of anything on the screen(like a piece of tissue paper) to help the camera focus on the screen!
And try a halogen background lighting or you can first try using the flash to see if it brings out the scratches in the pic!:fingers-crossed:
I also got a scratch on the glass tR which I never know where it came from. Noticed that just 2 or 3 weeks after installing it on my phone. Very disappointed. I ordered MIME for the lifetime warranty then.

Just because it's scratch resistant it doesn't make them scratch proof. I've seen a few gorilla glass products get scratches on them. You've just been lucky. The only reason I use screen protectors (along with a case) is for a higher resale value.
I have the Glass.tr and it now has a very faint crack going from the center of my phone to the sides.. I haave never dropped it. I think it happened in my pocket.. I think maybe me sitting down or something caused my phone to flex a little bit creating the crack.. which is bull.. it is suppose to be 9h or 8h.. flexing the phone a little should cause a crack.. I mean the gorilla glass didn't crack.. anyway I sent in a request for a new one.. lets see if they will do it.. my experience with spigen is they won't reply for like a week

You have it backwards, the harder the glass, the less stress it can take while flexing. Making it thinner also reduces its capacity to remain rigid, making it much easier to flex. The hardness rating is there to prevent scratches. if you want a flexible protector, go with a quality plastic.

Are they selling them in UK? As the last time I contacted them they advised to wait until someone starts reselling them but not sure if anyone has. But yes I've read that they are pretty good screen protectors.
As to knight screen protectors - its the first time I've heard of them from this thread but would be interested to see how they perform and if they are actually any good.

Yeah the guy sells them in the UK and posts worldwide. Will need to do an in depth review since no one seems to have heard of them. I should receive them either today or tomorrow.
I've got one on my n4. Good full screen coverage, really easy to apply. Quite gummy in use, but not too bad. I've got it on front and back. Only problem is that my poetic bumper case makes the corners and edges detach so I can't use it anymore. I do prefer the size without the bumper, but its a shame I can't protect the sides.

EDIT - I refitted the protector as I had an annoying small hair stuck under it. I got it more central this time and the poetic bumper fits fine with no edge raising or affecting the adhesion. I've tried a couple of different wet types on other devices - this one is by far the best.
I've just fitted one tonight on my LG G2. Will post in a couple of days what I think of it. At the moment it looks a little pants but that may just be down to the way I fitted it. Lots of bubbles that I'm hoping will disappear in time. Back looks great though.
I'm generally pleased with my screen knight however I wonder if anybody has tried to take one off ater it's dried out. I'm a little concerned it may not lift well?
Thanks for the tip, I'm also going to try out this one.

What kind of scratch? Screen protectors can just cover it up so that you can ignore it and prevent further scratches. This saves at least $40 and prevent s you from having to open the phone up

Its a pretty deep scratch and goes from one side of the screen to the other
try a thick wet screen protector first then see if that fixes it
Would Liquid armor fill in the scratch? Best screen protection I've used to date, and I've had a fair share of phones

Hi guys i have scratched my screen i know i should have been using a screen protector but just not go around to buying a new set.
Any way could someone point me in the direction of getting a new screen.
Also is it worth letting LG do it iv called them and the warranty does not cover the glass.

If your screen is not to scratched, you can install a privacy screen protector or a matte one, and you wont notice it anymore. Remember this will work only if it's not to much damage on the screen. Send photos to see the damage if you have them.
Liquid Armor will not Fix or Fill or Protect you screen.
It may only give you Water Spill-Resistant for a short time.
Please test it with Soil, Dust or Sand & you will learn a big lesson like my friend...!

I've been looking around on ebay and haven't found any nexus 4 screens within the uk. How did you manage to get a deep scratch anyways?

Get an Xoskin. It should fix it right up.

I have used this screen protector before and it was pretty could you just have to make sure theres not one spec of dust on the screen before hand...
I'm also for XO Skin. Spectacular stuff; and it WILL take away scratches that aren't super deep. Spigen seems good, but its a dry application that's more of a hard film. It may take away some light scratches, but I don't think it will get in and fill the deeper scratches that you may have. XO would be your best bet. There's other wet protectors, but from what I've tried, the others are junk.
