It's my very stupid mistake.
Fone is rooted and custom recovery installed.
I was about to change rom to dirty unicorns, and performed full wipe, but by mistake I wiped zip files as well.
Now when I'm trying to connect my fone to pc I'm getting nothing in "my computer"
What way I can copy this files now please
It's a bit noob question but I'm stuck and need ur help

You can delete /data but you wiped /data with media files ...this is wrong .... Best way to Boot in a Rom back is by flashing the stock Rom via fastboot and root it again...... Power phone off and press vol+ and power bottom to enter the fastboot mode...i hope its helped ...
Thanks alot, sorted

Hi everyone,
I was able to unlock and root my friends nexus s (tmo) and I thought I made a nandroid backup for recovery but when I choose the file there is an error. So now Im stuck in a bootloop and i have tried this option http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1447040 but I cant figure out which option to choose on Ubuntu to get it to boot on a usb stick? Can someone please help me unbrick this phone? Im sweating bullets here
You can still get into the bootloader and recovery can't you? You're not bricked. Just copy a new ROM onto the sdcard (mount it via recovery), do appropriate wipes and flash the new ROM.
bricked means flashing wrong radio for your device...and thats a bummer... luckily u didnt do this so relax nothing is broken
U didnt have to do all that coz the phone is not bricked at all... now just.go into recovery when u do this mount usb storage from recovery, transfer custom rom zip on your phone usb storage and follow instruction how to flash new rom with clean install also via recovery. If you cant get.into recovery for some reason, you can also force your nexus in recovery...just be sure to follow each and every step, also i recomend you head to nexus s hacks as you can see videos with instruction how to do all this. Just relax take.it.easy do this slow and ul fix it.
As long as u can get into recovery every bootloop is fixable, bootloop does.not.mean.bricked. its.just error that can be erased
okay well i had successfully added cwm recovery and i was gonna install new rom, i factory reset , deleted cACHE partition and dalvik cache, then when i was gonna install the rom it said aborted, and then accidently pressed reboot without restoring my backup now i can only get to bootloader and i cant enter recovery at all , when i try turning it on it only stays at htc quietly brilliant screen and reboots and does it again, i really need help guys !! please !! :crying::crying:

Before you fix your recovery you will need HTC Sync Software http://www.htc.com/www/help/htc-one-x/#download
And ADB installed from the SDK here http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
Once you load the SDK Manager download the Android SDK platform tools. Then download the proper recovery Image that has official support for the AT&T One X from here http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/99
Go to the folder you installed the SDK tools to If your on Windows 7 x64 and installed it using the default paths it will be located here C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools when at that folder move the recovery image file in to that folder then hold shift and right click in the folder select open command window here.
Now get your phone back into the bootloader select fastboot and connect it to your pc when your phones bootloader says fastboot usb its connected and ready to fix.
type fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.1.8.1-evita.img
that will update your recovery to TWRP which is much better than CWM. From there you can select reboot into recovery from the bootloader TWRP will load up you can Wipe /system /cache then mount your phone to your PC and upload any ROM you want. I recommend AOKP or CleanROM and flash away.
People really need to start searching before they post this is somewhere around the 20th post I've seen like this in the last couple days. All want help unbricking and people have posted guides on how to unbrick. Also there are many posts about how CWM for the HOX is highly unstable.
I believe I have bricked my phone. I was running a rooted HTC One X AT&T with an odex Jellybean/HTC Sense 4+ ROM. I wanted to test out a Cyanogenmod. Big mistake. I tried to flash it from TWRP recovery, after backing up my previous ROM, however, it was stuck in an endless boot loop. I took advice from some people online and reflashed it/ wiped caches/dalvik cache etc... When I realized it would not work unless I fastbooted it myself using USB debugging I tried to reinstall the old ROM, of course, after wiping the Cyanogenmod. Long story short there was no backup even though I backed up the phone! I now have no ROM and everything on my system is gone! My SD card folder only has a TWRP recovery and I can't install any .zip files. TWRP isn't even allowing me to mount my SD card so putting any files are out of the question. I believe, however, that usb debugging was on the whole time (is it on if on the boot loader it says fastboot usb when I plug in a USB?). Is there anyway to fix this?? I'm really screwed if I can't and please don't direct me to another thread because I need personalized help. I'm doing this on a mac by the way so anyone who knows how to use the terminal would help a lot. I can get access to windows though if needed. Just please help.
Have you tried to flash the boot.img from the zip file in fastboot?
Do you know what a brick is? When your phone does NOTHING... Similar to a brick.
What happened to you is you didn't flash the boot.img through fastboot, which caused your first problem, the bootloop..
Second thing you did incorrect was perform a factory reset in boot loader... Which completely wipes your SD card and corrupts it, and which just so happened to contain your backup no worries, easily fixable...
Download a rom on your computer. While its downloading, enter recovery and choose mount. Navigate to my computer and right click the removable storage option. Choose format. Once its done, drag rom onto phone.. Flash rom in twrp.
Extract rom on your computer, grab the boot.img and flash with fastboot.
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Reboot phone and profit
EDIT: sorry but I hastily skimmed through your post... Those are half-assed instructions for windows, I have no clue what to do on a mac

What he said. Toolkits are easily found too

Sideload a ROM to the phone via your custom recovery, in CWM it can be done via the Install.zip then Iinstall zip from sideload, once selected you need to move your custom ROM to the ADB folder then use the command in adb cmd (adb sideload FILENAME.zip)

Okay, we'll focus on just flashing the ROM as we can do Gapps later when the phone is working
First download your chosen from and move it to the adb folder
Then boot your phone into CWM and select install.zip and sideload install.zip. Then follow the onscreen instructions

ADB is a folder on your PC where you have extracted this (I recommend root of hard drive http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html#download)
Hello there, rooted my Device but ended up in Bootloader,
through Panicing i went Bootmenu and wiped my data with Format Data,
did no backup since i havent had personal Data on it anyways.
Now i just don't know how to install a ROM or OS and would need some help,
i have access to my PC via USB and TWRP is also accessible.
Would need some help if there is any.
It seemed a lot worse in title. Just use xperifirm to download firmware files and make a ftf in flashtool, then use prfcreator to make a prerooted zip file with root and twrp recovery. copy that zip to hpone by booting into twrp and connect your phone with usb, it will be detected. it will be helpful if you have sdcard in there as you can wipe all 5 internal partitions although that's not necessary
EDIT: I just reread and you said you only wiped data, before all this try wiping both caches in twrp just use wipe, and see if it boots.

I did format it(+factory Reset), so you say, i didn't delete everything, i just ended up in bootloop? I though it deletes OS too. (already tried to get rid of the Standart-Bootloop) When i connect it with USB it only shows the TWRP Folder to me.
Thank you so far
Download kitkat 4.4.4 or lollipop 5.0.2 for your region via xperifirm and use flashtool to flash it.

If you'd like to restore it to factory conditions,
1) . Ensure Sony PC Companion is open (URL="http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63381257&postcount=98"]CLICK ME TO DOWNLOAD SONY PC COMPANION[/URL])
How to put my device in flashmode:
1). Plug the USB into your PC
2). Plug the micro USB into your phone and at the same time hold the Volume Down Button
3). If completed correctly i believe the device Notification LED lights blue for a brief second or longer

4). Once you've put the device in flashmode and Sony PC Companion is open it should detect a device in flashmode and it'll prompt you to install the latest version available,
I hope this helped!
