[Completed] [Q] Samsung galaxy S5 E cannot mount efs - XDA Assist

first of all, before i started this thread i have tried all solution over the internet and none worked. I believe that my s5 encounter this error is because of manual OS downgrading because lollipop randomly restarts my phone. I think my case is not as serious as others because i still have my IMEI number but the thing is my phone cant remember those wifi i had connected before. i have tried:
1) install twrp recovery and root my s5, then i used twrp to backup and restore my efs but the error is still there
2) start recovery mode and run ADB commands but everytime my s5 attaches ADB as DEVICE but not RECOVERY and im stuck here
3) use EFS professional to backup and restore EFS and error is still there too.
4) use kies to do emergency recovery and initialization and yet....still cannot mount efs.
anyone can help me with this? i would really appreciate it!

[Completed] Samsung galaxy s5 stuck in factory mode.

hi i tried rooting my samsung galaxy s5 model number g900w8. Hovewer , once i root the phone i get a message saying " factory mode is on , turning wifi off " . The phone then restarts .
I saw some other forums where they had commented about turning off the factory mode in the device via root explorer by writing a ON in the factorymodeapp file inside the efs folder and some talks about writing original firmware. Both these methods did not work for me.
Also if i try to open up the efs folder, i see that is empty. however use of *#06# still gives me the IMEI number.
can anyone help me here?

So you flashed the EFS partition of an international S3 to your Canadian S4 ... that was a very bad idea.
Ok, hope you got it now.
Check if it's really hard-bricked, or maybe only soft-bricked:
Can you boot into download mode (holding Volume DONW + HOME + POWER keys)?
Can you boot into recovery mode (holding Volume UP + HOME + POWER keys)?
If one of this still works, you have a good chance to repair it yourself.
If both don't work any more, your chances will be significantly worse.
Please check the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 > Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting Frequently Asked Questions.
If you don't find the needed answers there, post your question in the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 > Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting Stupid Questions Thread - No question too stupid! thread.
Good luck !
P.S.: If you get it fixed, please do a complete backup (including EFS partiton) before flashing anything else.
thank you for your quick answer.I does'nt boot into recovery or download mode.Does'nt charge the battery and it'nt recognized by the computer when I connect it whit the usb cable. It's just completly dead. And you are right,it was a bad ideea to flash it with the GS3 efs backup.

You may ask in the q&a thread I provided in my previous post. But I don't have much hope.
Most likely you have to replace the mainboard ... by a service center.

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy S4 i9515 stuck in bootloop after flashing a mod in CWM

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 i9515 and I tried to flash a mod in CWM. The main problem is that all my apps stopped working and the screen is black. I tried rebooting in recovery mode but is restarting and refuse to open in Recovery Mode. The only thing I can access is the Download mode, which is working fine (I hope).I did a Nandroid backup before flashing but now I can't access that neither. Anyone has an idea what happened and how to solve this?
