The phone shows " Firmware upgrade issue encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I cant go to recovery mode ie. vol up+home+power. THings I have tried:
1. with Kies the device isnt recognised. I have updated the driver as well.
2. with odin every thing fails... flashing "all samsung recovery.tar", flashing stock jelly bean, flashing .pit file
I have googled for days and tried many things but isnt working. Need help

My sim card wasnt working and to fix that i decided to format my phone by flashing Stock ROM using Odin [I had root], running on Cyanogenmod. While doing so, it was taking a hell lot of time and I didnt know what to do, so i pulled the cable and restarted the phone and this message came on: "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again."
So i did that using kies, followed the procedure..downloaded the firmware to the computer, blah blah, but while "transferring that to the mobile phone" procedure, it got stuck at 0% and for hours it wont move!!
I tried using Odin again, but it just dont work!!
Please help me!!..I cant even go to my phone now..my (Home + Power button + Volume down) is accessible, but not recovery.

A couple ideas too.... Try a different version of Odin. Also, Odin usually fails if Kies is running. End all kies processes in the task manager on the pc. Try a different cable and USB port on your PC. And forget kies, it won't work if your rooted or are not completely stock.

Hello, can anybody help me to fix this soft-bricked SG Note ?
i've try to fix it, but it useless,
i've been trying to flash it with odin, after i preparing my weapon (odin program, usb cable, the SG Note GT-N7000 of course, go to the download mode)
then, i start fixing my friend's phone (the SGNote) , after few minutes.... the Odin stuck at Nand Write Start and the blue bar at the bottom of the "Downloading..." text on the phone screen has not coming out
after few minutes later, the odin says "fail!" arrgghhhh!
i've been spending my whole time in order to fix this phone but it always fails, again and again
so please, tell me the right solution to fix this phone, thanks

A couple quick ideas.... Try a different cable. A different USB port. A different PC if possible. Make sure you have the correct firmware file. Makes use Kies is not running... End any processes of kies in task manager, or uninstall it. Try another Odin version.

the recovery mode in my device samsung galaxy star pro
is not opening
i have tried by pressing the three button trick but all in vain
i have tried by using rom manager and selecting the reboot in recovery mode and still all in vain
it simply tells a command error
my phone is non rooted
so i can't even root my device to flash another recovery mode
please help me i'm stuckkk,,,,

My Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 (SGH-I527 ) AT&T is giving me problems after trying to get new firmware to remove my root after i tried using ODIN 3 to basically turn my phone into stock it instead says it failed and now every time i boot up my phone it puts me straight into ODIN mode with an error saying that my " firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again. I download Samsung Kies and it won't let me do a emergency recovery it says i need a emergency recovery code one problem i can't access my phone besides Odin mode. Does anyone have any answers that will fix this mess.

I tried flashing a rom using Safestrap (obviously didn't read into everything enough :/ ) So I seem to have hard bricked my device. I have no recovery, I either turn it on and get stuck at the samsung note 3 logo or the Odin Downloader. I've tried flashing the stock rom using Odin and it gets stuck on oboot (or something?) and doesn't move. I'm assuming because USB Debugging isn't on because I can't turn it on since there's no ROM installed? lmao.. Any help appreciated.
