Nope, this method does not work. It freezes the phone. I'd suggest not to try this method.

Search root lg l5 e450 on google and select lg-phones.org link...follow the steps give in the link and you're done!

What I wanted to know is what happens if I install a newer firmware like the LG G4 one for example, in my lg l70?
Because it has lollipop and other features is the main reason i want to "upgrade".
Will it have incompatibility issues? The phone will brick?
