[Completed] What happens if I install a newer firmware (.kdz) for my Lg L70? - XDA Assist

Hello.
What I wanted to know is what happens if I install a newer firmware like the LG G4 one for example, in my lg l70?
Because it has lollipop and other features is the main reason i want to "upgrade".
Will it have incompatibility issues? The phone will brick?
Thanks in advance

Manual hotwiring NFC on non-NFC LG Optimus L7
Sorry, don't mean to spam but I hope this thread is about generic Q&A regarding Optimus L7?
I bought my LG Optimus L7 (P705G) from Fido, Canada and turned out that those phones from Fido dont come with NFC! Darn u Fido!!!
So I'm thinking of buying the NFC-capable battery cover from "rounded.com/lg-p700-optimus-l7-battery-cover-battery-housing-white-spare-part-batc.html" and hotwiring the NFC Connectors between my L7 and the battery door. (See my attachment for illustration...)
I'm using the rooted 10a firmware already (originally it was 10c.......from Rogers mostly) and the firmware should support NFC...i hope?
Just wondering if anyone has done this before? Is it gona work? Is the NFC chip also inside the battery door, which I'm gona buy, or the NFC chip is just missing in my L7 phone thus not gona work?
Thanks in advance for all useful inputs...cheers!

Yes you can downgrade it to V10A and you don't have to use indonesia firmware. not sure about the HSPA interoperability there though but you can definitely use GSM. Read and follow the detailed steps below:
0. backup your phone
1. How to flash Android firmware to downgrade to other firmware (need to downgrade to firmware version 10A to root):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18946763&postcount=1
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1664322
1a. List of available firmware versions:
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=13
http://www.lg-phones.org/official-lg-optimus-l7-firmware-download.html
2. When step (1) cannot be done, do this to fool the http server of LG Mobile Support Tool to not check the latest version via internet so step (1) can be done to downgrade to firmware 10A
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1473781
3. Once firmware is in 10A, do this to root Android:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1664322
Type this on the "phone" app to see device info, hidden menu and test your HSPA connection, etc:
3845#*700# OR 3845#*705#
Good luck!
Try in the P700 development thread, read from page 101, there is a method to root every LG Firmware.

The old G flex really doesn't have a recovery last time I checked. On the T-Mobile variant they did come up with a trickery way to get a recovery install but it really wasn't safe, also there's still no unlock bootloader for that device neither. For a device that's been out for more then a year it's really dead it has no development at all no custom ROMs at all.
Would be ashamed if the flex 2 goes the same route.
