Hi guys,
I bought a TomTom go 6100 some days ago. While I thought they are running on Unix, I didn't know that they actually are running on Android, which can be seen I the device's open source information.
I wonder if anyone already started thinking about unlocking or accessing the file system?
Are there any approaches?
Thank you, best regards,
Christian
Any news on this front?
Hi I am in the same situation need to install maps into my GO6100 and I really don't want to pay 150 quids for it!

Hello,
I am new to the site and I have just purchased myself an o2 orbit. I am really happy with it but also very keen to understand how I can enhance its performance or tweak it.
Will their be a section for this phone?
Sorry if I am being impatient but I am raring to go.
Has anyone else got this phone yet? if so what have you done with it? Also where can I buy accessories for it?
I look forward to your responses.
Steve

Orbit and TomTom
Hi
i am very new to this thread, so hello and i thank you in advance for any help people are willing to offer.
I am going to be picking my Orbit up tomorrow from my local O2 store. I was wondering if anyone can confirm that TomTom is definately included with the UK models. I have seen on a couple of forums that some people are saying it isn't.
I think your phone is in the Artemis forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=316

Hi all,
I have never owned an XDA but thought I would put a post about the Orbit that I purchased 2 days ago.
It is an excellent piece of kit .. By default it does not come with TomTom (I was offered CoPilot with a £40 contract but I already had TomTom so I declined. I have put TomTom on the device and it works brilliant .. it seems much more accurate than my palm version (probably more accurate GPS device inside).
I used TomTom for an hour today and my battery went down 2%! Brilliant.
Everything is good about the device .. the only gripe I have is that the microphone socket is mini usb (but I am sure there is a convertor out there for that).
The radio is good too (this also seems to have a minimal drain on the battery).
Hello everybody, before i get to my point let me introduce myself.. i am a college student studying in Australia and i am of indian origin although have never stayed there due to parents being moved around in mnc from wen i am small. There is a dedicated Galaxy S2 forum for this, I am sure someone can solve your problem there. Here's the link:

I was just wondering if anyone can give me some specifics on the Fujitsu Arrows Z ISW13F. I recently moved to Japan, and I am looking for a phone that is as popular and powerful and with as much open source profiling as the sIII.
This phone i've been looking at is actually pretty powerful, I just want to know if anyone actually owns one, or has anymore information about it than I can find on the internet. Even through searching here in XDA, it seems it isn't a widely known device.
Thanks all.
HEy
hey...i was wondering did you buy it? and did you happen to find a way to root it?
Cheers,,

Hi I recently got my first smartphone today which is the HTC ultimate. It's OS is the windows phone OS 7.5. I did some research and I think its like the Brazilian version of HTC or something. Anyways I have been looking through the internet for some way for me to jailbreak/root it. Currently the apps on the marketplace kind of suck. I also wanted to add some emulators, for when I get bored. I have searched this forum and I can't seem to find it anywhere. If anybody could show me a program that can help me jailbreak/root or even just show me a website that can help me get started that would be great. Any form of help is greatly appreciated.
