[Q] Mirror Link - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

So I currently have S6 Edge and every time I connect my phone to a usb charger in my car (2014 civic SI), mirror link automatically comes on. Now I don't have a problem with this if it actually worked. When I click on the phone app in my car's head unit, I get the app cannot be opened. So I can live without mirror link but the thing is it automatically turns on every time I connect my phone to a usb charger in my car. Is there any way I can make it stop doing that?

Auto Tasker

Happy New year to all !!!
I have a new head unit and I want to connect to it with tasker, I have a SPH-DA210 Head unit and I'm using the Allshare dongle from samsung and the ARUnchainged reloaded app to control my Note 4 (rooted) thru the HU screen.
So everytime im near or my phone detects the car bluetooth connect to it then open the ARUnchainged Reloaded app and start the process of recognizing the BT connection and then connect with the All share dongle.
Is this possible?
Thanks to all guys and once again happy new year

Gear S3, OnePlus 3T, Car bluetooth questions

So, the watch remains connected to my phone the majority of the day. However, when I get into the car, the phone will not connect with it unless I manually connect to it by going into the bluetooth settings.
Is there a way to "prioritize" bluetooth devices? If the phone sees the car, drop watch and connect to car?
It is kind of a PITA to have to manually connect the phone to the car every time.
Why do you want the gear to connect to your car instead of your phone ?
No, I want my phone to drop Gear and connect to my car. The phone is what I want connected to the car, not the watch.

Gear S3 and Android Auto has a disconnect problem.

Whenever I plug my phone into my car stereo to use Android Auto I get the tell-tail single buzz of the S3 going into stand-alone mode. Which is bad enough, because while Android Auto can handle text messages, I like to be able to just glance at my watch for other notifications, but then when the phone is disconnected from the car, the watch will never automatically re-connect to the phone.
If I think about it I can use the pulldown access to the gear software on the phone (while still connected to the car stereo) and re-connect it. At this point it will stay connected to the phone unless I disconnect and reconnect Android Auto to the phone which will cause the S3 to disconnect from the phone again.
Does anyone know anyway to stop the disconnect, or at least some way to get it to auto-re-connect after?
Thanks!

Same **** happening here too with no solution in sight. This is pretty frustrating honestly.

I never had the problem of disconnecting when plugging IN for Android Auto, but I did have the problem when shutting off the car, which always caused the S3 to disconnect. The solution for that I found in another thread; unplug the phone from the head unit BEFORE shutting off the car and the watch stays connected. Obviously this doesn't relate to your issue, but in case you get it working on the front end, but find the disconnect after shutting down, remember this fix. (same issue happened on both my Galaxy S8+ and now the S9+ on the Pioneer AVH-4200NEX)
The key is to plug in your phone only after it's connected to the car Bluetooth and then unplug it before you shut off the car. I do this every time and have never had to reconnect my watch.
I have the same issue. I've gotten around it using automate. There's a script specifically for it in the automate store. Just change the ID of the watch in the flow and it should work.
Hope this helps - this was annoying me for the longest time until I tried this.

MI TV stick self turn on after latest update

Hi.
I've checked 3 pcs of Mi TV stick - each time after updating to latest update the stick is turning on by itself in 20 seconds after turning off by remote.
The new piece from box before update is ok, after installing latest update same issue. Does Xiaomi knows some solution to this bug?

I have the same problem bro. Still not found the solution.
I got the solution - at least that worked for me. The problem was with charging adapter from xiaomi phone. When stick was charged from PC USB slot then no problem with turning on by itself. It seems those sticks need power from low voltage sources like PC USB or TV USB (that I didnt check). Try it.
In my case there is no difference. TV Stick turning on by itself no matter if it was in TV USB, PC USB or plugged in charged which came in package.
It was my 2nd TV Stick because 1st was sended back because of classic problem with remote - losing connection and you need to unplug the device.
Unfortunately I have same issue with latest PI.1727. It's not able to stay in standby. On my side I'm sure it's a reason of updated hdmi-cec code. Once upon a time I was able to shutdown both tv and stick with a single button click. It's a dream now. I wish we were able to downgrade firmware.
Same issue on brand new Mi TV Stick updated to PI.1727. It wakes up with no reason.
Same issue here. I can shutdown MiStick + Tv, but I can't turn on both devices from remote using HDMI-CEC.
And both devices turn on automatically every day at same hour.
