I'm new a this so I try to follow steps very carefully, and I did, I successfully rooted my phone. But then after about 4 hours I wanted to get xposed installer, so i downloaded the app and the zip so I can flash it, and when I tried to flash the zip, it said that everything went ok, no errors or anything. So then I rebooted my phone and it booted until it showed the HTC One screen and froze. So then i went into recovery and wiped the dalvik cache, cache partition, and then i did a factory reset. Then I rebooted and after the first HTC screen it goes to a blue-ish black-ish screen and does nothing. I can still boot into recovery, but don't know where to go from here.
Please help asap, and hope to hear from someone soon.
Btw i have a at&t HTC One m7 32g, and have CWM as recovery, I'm new at this so tell me how to fix it simply.

Rooted my phone for the first time today following the noob proof guide in the development section, everything went fine.
Until I got to the last bit, flashing the ROM. It is stuck on the HyperSensation boot animation, and is boot-looping. I have re-booted to no avail.
I followed the guide to the letter, and have a back-up on CWM and a backup of my SD card on my PC. It was a previously completely unmodified sensation, and all i did was the stuff listed in the guide.
I have taken no action besides rebooting, I don't want to mess anything up...
Any help apprectiated
It's been quite a while since I played with root etc, but try and boot back into recovery and select 'Clear Dalvic cache' from the options. Then reboot and see if that helps.
I tried that, didn't work.. I've restored and I'll think I'll try and re flash it, see how it goes....
Still doing it after re-flash... will try another ROM...
Right, restored, reflashed, still didn't work. Removed SD card, formatted, cleared Davlic and fixed permissions and now it works!
Hi Guys, i'm having a similar problem.
i was running revolution HD ICS, and tried flashing Hypersenastion ICS.
it said it flashed sucessfully, but when i rebooted, i got stuck in a bootloop (as in i get the white htc screen, the hypersensation loading screen, then black, the the htc screen again).
ever since then i have been reformating my phone, clearing cache's, reflashing pretty much anything, but the only thing i have managed to change is:
when i go into adb and flash a system rom, which only results in it not booting at all and just staying on the white htc screen
then to make it more complicated, i read somewhere someone said to lock and unlock the Oem and not my Hboot screen says "RELOCKED"
can anyone help? or have i permanently bricked my phone?
Thanks
Did you guys flash the new Firmware? I believe you need the new firmware when flashing ICS roms...

You System Partition may have got wiped out. You will have to re-flash Stock.
Please post your concern in Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and someone more knowledgeable than would be happy to help.
I bought a used HTC Inspire 4g/DHD and it had already been flashed with "Jellytime." Thats all I really know. I know the basics of flashing and such. But here is the problem. Everything seemed in order, so i gave the phone to a friend to use, and then it started having a ton of issues. Video would go all wonky in landscape mode, phone would lock up, become unresponsive etc. So i attempted a factory restore via the boot menu and clockworkmod. Everything seemed to be going all good, then suddenly it gave me 2 errors saying it could not find and could not mount recovery files.
I thought, okay, weird, and let the phone finish doing what it is doing and restarted. It took probably 5-6 minutes after the restart and i finally got to the first screen to setup android (select language) and got a slew of pop up error messages saying XXX app has crashed or is not responding or that files were missing. and would not let me progress past that first screen. Now the phone will not even boot past the "jellytime" logo. (HTC logo flashes first, then jellytime animation and just stays there).
So i am at a loss as to what to do next because i cant get into android to enable USB debugging to use whatever process to reflash a suitable ROM. My friend really needs a phone back so a prompt response would be appreciated.

Maybe you have to re-flash the whole ROM. Startig freshly (with a factory reset / wipe data) is recommended.
And don't give the device to this friend again
If you have further questions, please ask in the Inspire 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Good luck !

I posted over in the other forum. But my issue is that I cannot do the factory restore and data wipe. It will not complete. It give me a missing recovery file error. And it can't mount the missing recovery files. It is why I am so stuck.

As I can see, you have already posted your question in the Q&A forum ([Q] soft bricked or screwed?).
So now you have to be patient and wait for someone to answer there.
Thanks for your understanding. Thread closed.
Hi. I successfully flashed blisspop rom to my SM-T700 tablet after flashing the stock rooted os. It pretty much worked perfectly. The problem here is that I never reset my dalvik cache and I'm not sure if blisspop does automatically for me or not, so I'm suspecting this is the problem. Anyway, I decided to reset to factory defaults to get space back on my internal sd card. I reset, and my tablet starts to boot into TWRP recovery, but I then experienced what people are always talking about-- bootloop. Now, I was going to reboot into recovery again, maybe it was a one-time glitch. But of course, my recovery goes away EVERY TIME I REBOOT, so now I'm stuck with the default recovery, which gets me nowhere. I try to do a normal boot, and surprise! IT DOESN'T START. So I get android studio and try to see if I can connect with my tablet through the built in adb console. I can't because apparently I need to accept the computer or something, but I can't, because the darn thing won't start up!! So there's my problem. I've tried adb, flashing stock rom, even attempting to corrupt it by pulling the battery when its starting so I can somehow reset it. No luck. Please help!
Hi, boot into download mode and flash the stock firmware. Hello, I need serious help with my phone.
So, after a long while of having my phone rooted, and had a case of boot loop with twrp, I decided to go back to stock os and hung up the root days. I thought i did it right by getting a stock os and flashed it, and it worked for couple months, until yesterday.
My phone keeps going into Cyanogen Recovery, I tried rebooting so many times, once it did boot up to OS, but it went back after i restarted phone or it died.
Now I can't no longer get back, I thought factory resetting will work but it didn't. (Tried both wipe cache partition and Full factory reset option from the recovery) I found unroot your phone toolkits, thinking it could help fix my problem and just unroot/ give me back to OS (I wished i found this before flashing that custom stock rom).
But the toolkit doesn't work for me, it finds adb devices, but it cant find fast boot devices, because my phone cant even go into fast boot.
I tried manual, and the option from the recovery, it keeps going back to recovery. I have an option for apply update, and then apply from ADB, that was the only way for my pc to recognize my phone from adb devices. Any clues on how to fix?

Will try, Ill respond back if anything happens!
Hmm I'm still having trouble because, I can't get into fast boot for some reason. It's keep going back to Cyanogen recovery. It has the option to reload into bootloader, but goes into cyanogen recovery again.
There is an option in dev options, uncheck the "update cyanogen recovery" and flash twrp again
