[Q] Best total SIM card cloner - General Topics

Hey guys,
I have two phones that I run. My primary is an AT&T Note 4 that isn't compatible with my Appradio 2 that's currently installed in my car. Even if rooted, the phone is not compatible with the phone and can't create the virtual environment required to run the touch controls on the screen. My second phone is an AT&T Galaxy S3. The S3 is fully rooted and does exactly what I need it to while connected to the radio. The problem is that in order to get internet and phone to work properly, I either have to swap the SIM every time I want to go somewhere, or I can tether the S3 to my Note 4 and while it works great for internet in the car, I'm unable to access any of the phone functions.
I would like to clone the SIM card I use in my Note 4 and use it in the S3, so when I'm driving, I can just shut my Note 4 off and let the S3 take over. I've been looking for a good cloner for a while, but everything I find gets mixed review. I came here hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction of a cloner that will make an exact duplicate of my existing SIM, so I can do what I described above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Ditching my cell phone for a tablet

This may be a hopeless endeauver; I have been searching around online for the past couple days but I just cannot find any solution to what I am trying to accomplish. I also am not sure what exactly I should be searching for so I apologize if this has been answered multiple times. I basically want to get rid of my cell phone and replace it with a tablet.
I am on Sprint and I currently have an HTC One. I would ideally like to be able to take the SIM card from my phone and use it in a tablet that supports it. I am unsure if this is even possible, however I do know that the Samsung Galaxy Note III 7" and Note II 10" work on Sprint but would they work with my current phones SIM?
I very rarely actually use my phone as a phone, and when I do place calls it is usually from my home PC. I use Google Voice with my Sprint number to place calls and text message so just being able to carry a tablet around with access to the Sprint 4G/LTE data network is all I really care about, not so much the voice network. Am I just crazy or can I actually acomplish this?

[Q] Changing status of tab to phone

Hi, I have the UK 4G galaxy tab 3 8.0. I've been using a Three network voice/text/data sim in it for a few months, till I tried to go on the the browser and it said 'Your Sim Will Only Work in Your Phone'. Tried everything I could think of to get it to work. I called the network explained that my tab was a phone because I've been making calls off of it. They was having none of it and said my sim will no longer work for data inside my tab....killer!! It's my only source of internet and I haven't got another device to use it with. I was thinking possibly if I root it, there may be a utility which allows me to change what my tab is seen as. For example change it so it's recognised as a phone and then my sim will start working again. It's never going to work again as it is at the moment. I've rooted it before and didn't really want to do it again, because it kept screwing my data connection, I unrooted and it's been fine for weeks. Please someone help! If I have missed any details, sorry.
P.s the tab came from Vodafone UK with a sim contract that is not being used anymore, I bought the tab near enough brand new but still pre-owned.
Thanks anyway

Project Fi on galaxy s6?

Ok ok before you all start saying that Project Fi is only on Nexus phones hear me out:
If I have an Galaxy S6 and pop a Project Fi sim card in it. What would happen? Will it not work at all or something else will happen? Will it work for all services(talk, text, data) or just some of them and in a limited way?
And assuming that I can use Project Fi on S6 then I have these questions:
Will it effect the cost of my bill at the end of the day? If I use a non-Nexus phone how much more will I be charged and for what exactly?
Oh and the last question: Will it work on all editions of galaxy s6 or t-mobile compatible models only.
I already have an invite but do not want to buy a new phone just for that and my current plan is not that bad.
I just tried this. I put the Project Fi SIM in on Tuesday and waited for my number to be ported. Today I checked the Fi app and it said there was a problem with my SIM card and to contact customer support. Of course, they just hit me with the rhetoric about it not being compatible and that, despite videos showing it working on the S6, the forums say that it stops working after a few days or they start getting a lot of error messages. This doesn't really make sense as it's basically just cellular service, but whatever. It seems they don't want it working on anything other than their flagships, and I'm not buying something I can't afford when I have a better phone in my hand right now. I'll be checking MetroPCS or the like instead to get away from T-Mobile.
I ordered my sim card and did the same thing. Just like you I run into the similar situation.
For activation you can only do it on a nexus phone. They can actually see what kind of phone you have when you activate. Also number porting takes a few seconds to a minute to complete. If it gives the error right away then the problem is with the phone model.
Wonder once activated if it would work?
Galaxy Note 5 On Project FI
I switched Sims between my Note 5 and N 5X on fi, and the Note 5 is fully functional.
Has anyone tried to use Project Fi on an S6, Note or non Nexus device outside of the US?
I have it working on my S6 Edge, but I'm curious if it will work in Europe.
Remember which networks this rides on
I think if you were to use a phone unlocked for Sprint/T-Mobile this would work. Remember that fi rides on Sprint and T-Mobile networks.
I have fi in the UK. However I am using it on a 6p uk version and it works fine

its working fine in my s6 edge but mms doesn't work
Limited signal
Hi people,
Been reading the forums for help for a long time - finally decided to join; hopefully will be able to help... I am not a pro - actually quite a newbie; hopefully will become a pro spending enough time here
I am trying to make my SMG920V (Samsung S6 Verizon unlocked) work with Project Fi. It is working but only very poorly.
T-mobile network shows up but disappears intermittently (I changed the APN settings from apn . gishan . net)
Even when it works, I am getting only H or H+, not LTE
Request your help please?!
I would ideally not like to root the phone (my wife uses it and she knows nothing about technology!) but if that is the only option to use all bands (IF that is the problem) then I will; the phone is on 7.0
Looking forward to your help!

Activated on Page Plus but no data

Hi everyone, I have been trying to activate any of my VZW phones on Page Plus, preferably my i535 to start but i've also tried my HTC M8 out of desperation with the same results.
Basically the phones activate fine, voice and text work fine but i have no data. I've tried a ton of variations of APNs and different network preferences but not a bit of luck.
I see a few old threads about Page Plus but it looks like those folks are trying to do flash or qpst the phones, perhaps cloning meid or other crazy things, i really dont understand the point when Page Plus lists both my phones as being compatible on the page plus website. Half the links are dead in those threads anyway, almost all screen shots are 404, it seems hard to find much information.
I'm wondering if someone can shed some light on either what i'm doing wrong or at least explain what all the fuss with flashing/qpst is about and if that's something i need to look further into despite my phones activating successfully and being listed as compatible, just i cant get data working.

I am on Page Plus with the straight talk version of GS3, it is the same as the Verizon but limited to 3g. If you are trying to activate a 4g device (like the i535) on a standard plan or $12 monthly plan, it will not be accepted. Those plans only work on 3g devices. If you are trying to activate a $29 and up monthly plan on the same i535 model, you need to purchase a page plus SIM card, without it the data will not work. You don't need to do any APN edit or special flashing, it will work with the SIM no issues. If you want to be on the 3g plan, get an s968c, it'll work like a charm. Just a side note, on CM12 and higher, the s968c model will not get data unless you get an already activated Verizon SIM ($3 on e-bay) and have it installed. This will get the APNs programmed for you. Good luck!

[Completed] Samsung Gear S2 - permanently deactivated or not?

Hi all - in the process of adding a new phone line, AT&T accidentally deactivated my Galaxy S2 watch, which I had a line of service on (so I could used it standalone/detached from the phone). They realized their mistake - and sent me a new watch for free.
This watch has a built-in, non-removable SIM. Is it truly deactivated for good? Or could I somehow unlock it? I guess originally since it was from AT&T, it was set up only to work with that carrier. So if I manage to bring it back, would it only work on AT&T in the future? Or would the process "unlock" it to work anywhere?
It still works via bluetooth, but it's thicker than the bluetooth only version so no point in carrying around that extra weight if it can't use 3G/4G, you know?
