Battery voltage ????

Hi there guys, im trying to calibrate my battery (Stock 1530) using battery calibrator. I have two questions.
1- is it better to discharge my battery then use Battery calibrator to calibrate it or turn off phone and charge over night and power on> recovery and remove Battery stats bin?
2- why my battery at times says 4215 and at times 4209 when its full? can someone describe the right battery volts value to me, thx!
1. i dont use battery calibrator, but charging overnight and wiping battery stats is the way to go.
2. there's no such thing as a "right" voltage. li-ion batteries never charge to their full design capacity. what you should look out for is the current. your battery is full when the current decreases until it settles on a low value. the charging will then stop and you'll notice the current goes to negative.

[Q] Will battery percentage show with 1800mAh extended battery?

i am planning to buy a 1800mAh Mugen battery and i was wondering if the battery percentage would show properly on my phone? if not would wiping battery stats fix this problem?

$I have one and runs perfect
Percentage meter is just based on the voltage that your phone associates with fully charged and empty. When you get the new battery, just recalibrate the battery meter by charging to 100%, draining to 10-20% (not 0%) and repeat a couple times, and you should be good to go.
Wiping battery stats just clears the usage data, that gets cleared anyway when you charge the battery.

Actual battery capacity

Hi, I have bought an used battery, I'd like to understand which is the real capacity of the battery.
The nominal capacity is 2300mAh, but I think the old owner give me a battery not very good.
N5 has these chips:
BQ24192 for charge the battery
MAX17048 fuel gauge.
Is there an app or a simple script to get informations from these chips and calculate the real capacity of the battery?
Thank you

Calibrating battery to preserve capacity

Hello. I've read some posts, tried some apps but never found what exactly I need. So there's a thing: let's say my phone's battery capacity is 2900mAh. Is there a way to calibrate my battery to put, let's say, 200mAh to reserve? So when the battery is charged to a 100%, it would actually be charged only to 2700mAh and would stop charging. This way battery would get less voltage that damages it and would have longer lifetime.
I know that I can download apps that notify me when battery is charged to wanted percentage, but it's not always the most comfortable choice on many occasions.
All the topics, apps about battery calibration are to calibrate 100% to 100%, when I actually want 80-90% to be shown as 100%.

Battery mod

I have a pixel 3 with a fairly small battery capacity of about 2900mah, and I want to try adding a new battery with a larger capacity (8000mah) I want to know how to change the settings in the sys/class/power_supply/bms/charge_full, so that it can be increased from 2900mah to 8000mah so that when charging the 8000mah battery capacity can be fully charged. or will even if I don't change the chage_full setting the battery will still be fully charged?
