Hi everybody.
I've recently received my L02, and as usual, first thing I did was step down the display density to 380.
Now, I have to say EMUI handles this much better than Sense, but I have one thing that bugs me - the buttons on the navbar are not centered anymore, they're slightly moved to the left (like they're still centered on the original dp width of the bar).
Does anybody have a fix for this? I'll be looking in the framework apks, just thought maybe I can save myself some work.

Same problem here with my H60-L12.
Installed busybox and also tried to change the style with softkeyz.

I have a Samsung Captivate. I am pretty tech savy so I have updated. It is running the newest X-Bean rom with the newest devil kernel. It is running silky smooth and looking beautiful. However, I wasn't a fan of the default 240 DPI the rom came with so, using build.prop app, I changed it to 182. Works great with my 5X5 Grid and Nova Launcher. One thing that is bugging me though, the status bar messages are cut off. The whole message won't show if their are multiple ones up. Instead, it will cut off the bottom of them. I am assuming this is the result of my DPI change.
Is there anyway to change the status bar to work with a higher resolution/lower DPI? I know some programs you have to clear the data app when you change the DPI for them to work correctly with the new DPI. Is this the same with the status bar?
Any Help would be appreciated.
Hi Guys,
i loved the transparent status- and navbar in the new google-launcher.
But I wanted to stick to nova launcher and unfortunately i noticed, that both bars are not transparent anymore
So i stumbled upon this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2328346&page=6
There i read that with the latest beta of novalauncher its possible to set transperency for both bars. (even example screenshots of useres were posted)
Unfortunatetly with the latest beta and a rooted 4.4 N5 i do not have any of these options within novalauncher.
Does anyone knows about this or has this fixed yet?
Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure transparency only works with Nova on a few phones. It needs to be updated to allow it on the Nexus 5.
Here is their beta page on Google+. There isn't a current beta, but it's possible they will release a beta with these options to testers first, but I'm not entirely sure.

Maybe due to root not possible?
Hello,
as I bought a new Nexus 5 today as a Christmas present for my mother I noticed today, while preparing it, that her home buttons etc are transparent and my ones not, although stock Android 5.0 and Nova Launcher are installed on both devices equally but her's is unrooted and my one is rooted. My notification bar is transparent though... Only within a few apps I see my home button transparent.
Is it possible that this is the prohibiting factor?
Edit:
Sorry, I was so stupid to not notice, that my background caused this.... With another one I see them being transparent. Sry guys for the useless post ;o
Hello everyone. I hope someone read this post and can help me solve the problem. I'm going crazy to change the icons of the navigation bar in my Tab 2 Gtp-3110 (Jelly Bean 4.1.2). The device is rooted, with the exposed and the busybox installed. I tried many tutorial on the web (and XDA) but none of them was functional. Below my experiences:
-SYSTEMUI ICONS (systemui.apk editor): although I have assigned a new personal icon (30x30 32bit png) from the gallery to the existing one, nothing is changed at the next reboot
-Android L Navigation Bar.apk (aka lollipop navbar): After activating the xposed module and modifying the build.prop as suggested, nothing is changed at the next reboot and the navbar icons remain those of the stock firmware
-xstana: it works but navbar icons are all moved to the right and side by side (without spacing from the icons)
-Ultimate Dynamic Navbar: it works, but it's an extra service (about 10 mb) and it's not a real alternative to modify the navbar (otherwise the icons are not customizable and you can only choose those available from the app)
Now I'm trying to modify directly the systemUI.apk but I can not figure out which icons I have to replace. Can you give me a hand?

It's the fourth post I'm writing on this forum and never anyone who has answered me. I try it for the last time, hoping someone reads me.
Pixel Navbar?
Guys I can't apply any custom themes, all of them got bug in the nav bar I wrote to Sony about this but no reply from them. What to do?
Set your dpi a little closer to stock to move the nav keys back to center with certain themes.
It's not a bug. I'm assuming you're using the emulated 4k via adb? Either set your dpi higher, or just go back to regular wm size.
Yeah I forgot about that ? but the small colored dots are gone when applying different themes the ones from home button
Hi, is there any no-root method to decrease navigation bar height on Note 10 running Android 9?
On my Note 8 I had some Substratum overlay that reduced navbar height to half of what's it's by default.
Haven't found any similar way of doing the same on my Note 10. Substratum themes works through Synergy, but is there any app out there to reduce navigation bar size? Thanks in advance!

You can use quick settings to get rid of navigation and or status bar and enable immersive mode. Using on T-Mobile Note 10 Plus with no issues.

Thank you but I'm not looking for any swipe options, there is one built in setting for that. I'd just like to have navigation bar visible all time, but the size could be decreased to half (or a slightly bigger than half) from default.
To answer to myself, on Android 10 this can be done by Hex Installer. Also themeing seems to work.

Hi
I'm also using hex installer to change the navbar height but I would like to go back to synergy+subs lite because it can theme more apps
Do you know of any themes or mods compatible with subs lite that can accomplish that without root?
