Before I had this problems, I was using WiFi Killer and Network Spoofer on my HTC Desire 616. After a while, my phone restart automatically. Then I realized that the wifi sign on my notification bar didn't appeared. So I went to the setting and checked the wifi but it keep saying "Turning on wifi...". same story when I tried to switch on my bluetooth. I've already tried switched off my phone and factory reset many time but nothing change. Any suggestion? That would be great for me to try.

Hello all,
I have installed Cyanogen's 7.1 on my phone, everything is working as it should, apart from the WiFi. When I go into the WiFi setting to turn it on nothing happens. I can try scanning for a connection but nothing comes up. I have tried other Apps like WiFi Manager and still get the same issue. It doesn't seem to be picking anything up.
I have tried detecting the router on my partners iPhone and it picks it up fine.
Can anyone help me with this WiFi problem?
Thanks in advance
Forgot to also mention....
When activated (turned on) after about a minute of nothing happened, WiFi turns itself back off

Light blue ... I assume it's when wifi is turned on but you have no network/internet connection.
So check in a different wifi, if it works there.
When the connection issue is only in a secial wifi network, you may have to check the wifi router's settings (that your device is allowed to connect).
Or try to forget the network in Settings > Wifi > ... and connect to it newly.
If it doesnt help, please register on xda and post in the Xperia E3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

I installed the 3g/4g optimizer app (see screenshot) after reading about it in an article. After installation, I changed the speed to the highest setting. I rebooted (as instructed) and was unable to get my hotspot to function. I changed the setting back to normal and rebooted. I still couldn't turn on the WiFi hotspot. I uninstalled the app, rebooted, still no WiFi hotspot. I did a factory reset, no hotspot. I had been running the hotspot up until the first reboot to fuel my tablet. I press to check the box "turn wifi hotspot on” the check shows up, albeit grey. The connected icon never shows on the notification tray my other devices can't pick it up. I also noticed when trying to turn on bluetooth tethering, settings is forced closed. I DO HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION for my hotspot. Can you please help me, my hotspot is vital to me.
Seriously? No ideas? Surely it's not over EVERYONE'S head...

Hello!
Yesterday I Installed the Application Pry-Fi (Pry-Fi Changes MAC-Addresses) on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005). The app worked great and did what its supposed to to.
When I went sleep I turned my Wifi off. The next Morning I wanted to turn my wifi back on but it doesnt work anymore. If I turn wifi ON the switch changes but doesent go green. After 10 to 20 seconds wifi turns back off. I'am Not able to search for wifi networks Anymore but I can my a Wifi Hotspot with my Phone. So I think that my WIFI Antenna/Chip isn,t broken.
I made a factory reset so I can use Wifi Again but It doesnt change. Wifi is not able to turn on!
What should I do the make the Wifi work Again??? Please HELP me!
Should I have to root my Phone again, install the app and try to fix it?
Sorry for my bad english
Regards and Thanks!
(SM-N9005, Android 4.4.2, Yesterday rooted - today unrooted, Pry-Fi installed via Google Play)

My grandfather is using a Galaxy Trend Plus
However, it frequently disconnects from our local network provider (even though it still shows that it is connected) and it can only be fixed by toggling airplane mode or restarting
Is anyone experiencing similar issues?
Is there possibly any long term fix to this bug such as reflashing it's wifi/network drivers?
Btw by network I mean both 2G/3G connection (I'm actually not sure xD) and wifi
