unrooted nexus s bell no data connection or access to mobile network apn settings

i have full access to everything on my phone i can send emails use wifi keyboard the only thing i don't have is 3g signal i'm using a bell nexus s and also i can't access my mobile network apn settings at all it's blacked out n i can't click on it. I've tried flashing a new rom kernal etc etc., also i've tried all the dail restart codes and factory restart options. Also i have noticed recently that all the roms and kernals i did have n previously worked all have a "e signuature verification failure." hope u guys can help

vzr s3 apn editing?????

Hi can anyone help me out on editing the apn on a verzon s3.. i rooted my vrz s3 and now im using it global. im able to place and received calls etc, but im unable to edit the apn so i can get the data plan working on it. can anyone help me out on editing this. everytime i enter the apn screen on the phone it doesnt allow me to edit nothing or do nothing. any ideas???

Verizon S3 can't detect my sim card and problem with APNs

Hello , i'm new here
unfortunately i have a problem with my S3 verizon SCH-i535 , when it was stock , i couldn't add an APN , i just could make calls and send sms, but no 3g connection.
i thought if i flash a new rom i could fix it , so i tried to flash CM12.1 ROM for Galaxy S3 Verizon SCH-i535 as shown on this video :

but it made it worse , now the phone doesn't even detect the sim card , and there isn't even an option on the setting menu to access APN.
Please help me guys ! if you need more info just tell me.

I fixed this by putting my sim back to the phone and reflashing , everything works fine now.
however , when i call sombody and and cancel the call its keeps on calling , how do i fix this ? or do you have any stable good rom to flash it ?

go to factory restore and add new apn then it will work fine

[Q] 3G stopped working after android lollipop update

Hi all, How are you?
I have a Moto G (XT1034) with Android 5.1 (LPBS23.13-58-2) stock - no root.
Unfortunately, after lollipop update, the device only connects in 2G network mode.
I Have tried the following:
1)I have setup in setting 3G as preferred network:
Setting > More > Mobile Networks > Preferred network type > 3G
2)I have also rebooted in recovery, and I didi a factory reset;
3) I have called my network provider, and setup manually APN settings;
None of the above worked.
I have also tried to enter into Testing setup using the code *#*#4636#*#* on phone dallier, but that code does not work.
Please, May someone help me how to fix 3G connectivity?

Hi guys im from Mexico, i bougth lg v20 ls997 on internet its work perfectly unlock sim for a while, since i update the software version to Oreo the unlock is lost, and the hidden menu is changed, the option field test is disapper and now i cant change de mode network for gsm.
somebody can u help me? i try to change options in the hidden menu of data (##data#) but not works neither
i think if i root my device and change the room but i read is dangerus brick my device for this version
I will appreciate very much if you help me.

Your best bet is to contact sprint for assistance

I contacted sprint and they said that my imei is not activated in system

Try this:
Go into the phone dialer and type: 5689#*997#
Go to Field test > Modem Settings >RAT Selection > SELECT: GSM/WCDMA/LTE Auto
If it doesn't work, select LTE/WCDMA, then toggle back to GSM/WCDMA/LTE Auto
If it still doesn't work, remove the sim and try these steps above without the SIM, then retry.
Don't forget to update your APN settings for your carrier.
If that doesn't work apparently Em_Will_I_Am on Sprint's community site/forum has been able to assist, give him a pm
It's not difficult to root an updated ls997, it's flat out impossible and attempting anyway results in a brick.
