Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist Xposed is not fully compatible yet and hence chances are high of bootlooping and various crashes worst part you may end up flashing Stock back so i suggest unless you know about Xposed and its way of use , do not try it let me know your device too
Good Luck!

Help me please :< I flashed my moto g with the carbon rom from the moto g page of XDA but I had a bad recovery and it did not do a factory reset. When I flashed it my phone was empty and working good but I had one problem. As the phone was empty I had occupied 550 MB Which I suspect were the application cache or data or something like that.
I have already tried:
1.reflash the rom
2.factory reset
3.hard reset
4.flash another recovery(went from CWM to philz touch)
5.did the same steps again.
but still I got 550 MB occupied that the files cannot be seen by ES root explorer or by anything else I tried.
I went to the rom page but the thread is closed. Please help me
As you can see in the screenshot the numbers don't add up :/
PS. I don't thing its a roms problem I just messed something up

In that case please await an answer over there. Notice XDA Assist Mandate.
The mission of XDA Assist is to provide basic help to those who have tried searching but can't find what they are looking for and need assistance. This is not a "helpdesk" providing technical assistance but more to point you in the correct direction with your problem. Perhaps you can't find posts on how to root your phone, install custom recovery or maybe you have questions about how to navigate and use features on the site.

Hello,
After the my moto "forced" me to update with the spamm, i updated it yesterday, but somehing must have failed, since my Moto doesnt start anymore.
when i start it goes till the screen where it says "ur device is unlocked" and its stuck there.
i tryed to go in Recovery mode, cleared cache and user data+settings. that didnt work.
what options are left for me? would an update help? if yes, how do i know which update i pick?
kind regards

The easiest method is to first root your device and then flashing a custom rom onto your device all the information will be available for you in your device verified section and the other way is to flash stock rom

I wouldn't ask for an ETA, but go ahead and mention in that thread the link is down. The OP may know about it already, but than again, maybe not.
As for working, it's probably the best bet as to what I know about the phone (which isn't much).

Hi,
A one-liner takes less time over there than the four lines it takes to explain why you won't here.
By the way, you may have missed this on the way in. Useful reading, for all parties involved:
> General discussion > XDA Assist > The Purpose of XDA Assist [Please Read]
Finally, due diligence is not a waste of time. Expecting others to do the work for you, is wasted effort from all sides.
I should add/emphasize...
This hobby takes time, patience and lots of reading and most members here will help, if you show you've tried too. This is development site. We're all here to learn, share and help each other. :highfive:
Before I close this thread - nothing more I can do here - I will leave this thread link if you have any followup questions:
> Motorola Moto E > Moto E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [FAQ] Frequently Asked Questions For Moto E [UPDATED-05/10/14]
Hope this helps.

Hi Guys
I am new to xda and tought of make a tool that can help people with the Motorola Moto G. The Program can Install Recovery`s , Upgrade the Boot loaders and Factory Reset the device even If you have another custom ROM already installed. Beware the tool has some bugs and I won`t take responsibility if you brick your device. If you encounter any problems . I will be glad to help and suggest and modification in the comments below.

Hello,
This forum is for newbies finding their way around XDA Developers, it isn't a development section.
You may try posting it here Moto G General, so the people with same device could use your tool

Hi
I am a newbie here. I have tried rooting in Moto g3 and Lyf Flame 8. I wished to flash custom roms, xposed etc in my phone.
When i tried rooting, i almost bricked my moto g3( not read and followed the thread while rooting) finally flashed the stock.
In my Lyf tried ro replace kingRoot with superSu and it went to bootloop. Restored the same with the help of jio Store and rooted and now it is ok.
I have learned from my mistakes and would like to purchase a new/second hand mobile with volte which has enough support for rom.xposed, threads in this forum. I am using a Jio sim and VOLTE is prefered, also dont want to spend more than 6k as of now.
I hope some one will suggest some models and i can save money for 6 months and can explore root, rom, xposed etc.

If you ask your question here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
the experts there will be able to give you some opinions. If you are going to go for a less well known brand then anything with a snapdragon processor tends to have good support with cm based roms
Good Luck
