[MOD][4.4][KRT16O][KRT16S] Transparent Lockscreen Mod

I've been looking around for days and couldn't find a translucent lockscreen mod for 3G, so I decided to create one:
This is ONLY for 3G Nexus 7(2012) and includes Tethering/Wifi Hotspot mod as an extra.
All tethering/Wifi hotspot credits go to xtoudi and stridger for making this happen.
SMS mod credits go to GuyAdams.

Flashing Instructions:
1- Flash the krt16x-Stock file matches your build.
2- Reboot
3- Flash the modded framework now.
4- Enjoy.
UPDATE: Added modified frameworks for KRT16S as well.
UPDATE2: Also added SMS mod by GuyAdams as requested.

hey mate you are the only one providing the transparent bars for tilapia and this is a great things! thank you very very much!
but could you please also provide a version of without the tethering mod? I flash this one together with the SMS/Hangouts + tethering mod by @GuyAdams but they are not really compatible.. if I flash one I lose the goodies from the other one and vice versa..!!

Thanks for buidling this.
I tried flashing "krts16s-Trans-Tether-SMS.zip" using flashify (via TWRP) and the device now won't boot.
It just sits at the boot logo forever (an animation of four coloured circles for stock 4.4.)
I'm running Stock 4.4 (KRT16S) with root (UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.69) and TWRP (2.6.3.1) on tilapia.
I can revert to my backup no problem but I'd like to get it working.
Any suggestions appreciated.

You should flash the krt16x-Stock.zip before you flash modded framework.
Please read the whole post before you proceed.

There is no krt16o-Stock.zip file attached to the OP, only krt16s-Stock.zip.

Yeah, flash the one that matches your build, both are stock files.

Tethering and SMS are working great but I'm not sure about the transparent lock screen.
Sorry if this a stupid question but how do I enable the transparency effect?
My lock screen doesn't look any different: My wallpaper, clock with date, carrier name, status icons in top right & up arrow at the bottom center of the screen.

Thanks, I didn't have GEL installed but I do now. My home screen is a bit different but there's still no change to the lockscreen. Should I expect to see my home screen icons on the lock screen? That's what I thought transparent lock screen would do.
Maybe GEL has to be installed before the MOD?

The transparency is to be intended as transparency of the status bar and of the navigation bar!

Can't find the perimeter responsible for that yet, it maybe in the systemui or framework but not in the launcher as far as I know but not sure.Still looking if there is a thread successfully manage to do that except Cyanogen of course.If there is please notify me and I'll gladly do one.

Transparent soft keys is a part of KitKat. There should be a documentation on how to get the transparent soft keys for developers somewhere.

Been search for this eversince 4.4.2 leak came out.But still no luck(xda search always show different result not even related to this).That's why I ask if anyone here can share a link so we can apply that mod on our note.

Kabayan thanks! I think I have some progress. I've manage to make the navigator button semi transparent, but only in the Homescreen. It returns to black background when opening setting and apps.Fingers crossed hope we can fix the problem.

Thanks Mikyno. So far everything is working except for the setting and some app having white statusbar(hard to see statusbar white icons) (but other app has black background)and black navigation bar which is normal as you said. But if its transparency is by about 80% and below the statusbar icons are visible. I don't know if its still needed cause you can do this mod via Xblast as suggested by Justinchi. But if someone are interested I can share it here or if you are interested I'll Pm you Mikyno for you to try and deside if it's worth adding in version 4 of your Rom(which I've been waiting by the way after your exams), but for now I'll try to fix the white status bar thing if possible :fingers-crossed:.

Couldnt get it to work on my D852. Stock lollipop.

Any ideas on how to get this to work on my LS990 with stock Lollipop? Phone will not boot up after I flash this. It just hangs on the LG logo splash screen.

like Menu > Set Color > Red, Blue, White, Purple, Black, Grey etc and then it will be applied after restart.
Just if possible (i'm not going to bother about it atm since i'm trying to do stuff) but you can go ahead and try to see if you can get it to work

Well, the "no mods" statement is not fully true. It may be a risk to have mods installed, but for me it worked.
Before installing this, I have installed: blue mod, security fix, status and nav bar mode 36 dpi, no doc dynamic and smart notice transparent full.

for the battery icons, you can do it in this way.
extract them from the UI and with a graphics program (I use paint.net and ps)
create the equivalent (same name) transparent png 1x1 size
and reinsert them in the UI with 7zip. no need to decompile/recompile
for my others mods, follow my signature

My only comment would be the status bar seems a lot smaller and the icons have change from the newer lollipop solid look to the older KK look.
Any chance you could make one with lollipop status bar icons....basically just to mod the quick settings, and leave everything else alone.

hmm, that's strange
before installing the mod I had the solid wifi bars etc and my status bar was definitely bigger.
I was completely stock with no theming tweaks at all, just a coupe of xposed modules for security etc.

Xposed MM blur SystemUI by serajr & few mods

Blurred systemui for lg g3 MM. You need xposed for using this. Full credit goes to Serajr.

Update: i don't think lockscreen turn into black it's a bug because for the first time if you double tap on screen it's turn on black just show the time and if you don't unlock......and again double tap on the screen you will see your lock screen.
If it works for you don't forget to press the thanks button
Few updates Notification header color change silver to match with blur SystemUI and lockscreen knock code bracket removed now it's transparent
if you want this mode after install xposed blur systemui flash the zip file from twrp attach below.
Flash it at your own risk i am not responsible any damage happen to your phone

Try it.....i think it will work....i am using it on fulmic 5.2 which is also v30f based and it's a xpose module for rom based on MM....so go ahead and try it.....best of luck.

I think It's a feature for the first time you tap on lockscreen it black only show time and notification but if you don't unlock and double tap your lockscreen again you will see your lockscreen.

May be but i have disabled it and all seems to be fine now, no issues also there is no single TAP for clock AFAIK, atleast not in VS985 46A stock
