[WIP] Clean Huawei Forum: Last Update: 24.6.2015
Hello Everyone! VisualTech48 here.
I'm a proud owner of our beloved phone Huawei Y530, and yes, we already have a thread, but its unclean, and hard to find some things, so with the approval of a mod, I'm here to gather everything on the first post so everyone doesn't have to go searching and asking if it works.
In addition here will be also posted any ROMS people make, till we get our official forum.
CyangoenMod Status:
Currently Booting is possible but there is a lot of work needed to be done.

We are going to start with CM11 first, as PieroV and CENTSOARER agreed

Upgrading System guide (DLOAD):
Dload is the way we upgrade frimware in Huawei. To flash a new version of the OS you first need to check what version you have. You can do that by going on your phone and open the SYSTEM Update app.
Image_01
The reason why you have to check this, is due to you cannot flash an lower version. So if you have B179, you cannot flash B177. Keep that in mind as, if you do try to flash it will show you an error.
When you download the new frimware bear in mind to put the dload folder in the root directory of your SD-Card.
Example: /sdcard1/dload
After you have placed your folder, go to the SYSTEM Update app, and press Local Update and comfirm.

Rooting Wiki [More detailed guide]
Start by downloading and installing towel root and KingsUser here:
■ KingsUser
First open towelroot and press "Make it ra1n". If it says sucessful root, you can proceed and go to KingsRoot.
NOTE: Do not update Kings root, you will be offered to fix your root, just press yes. After it finishes, your phone is rooted!
If I forgot something fell free to write it down, this post will be updated as much as it can.

Can you put the latest b515 firmware link for upgrading with dload method

Hey guys I need help.
I want to root my Prestigio multipad PMP5080CPRO but I can´t find the Debugg-mode and I can´t find the adb driver.
Could anybody tell me how to root it??
Thanks :laugh::laugh:
Found an excellent thread on ROOTING the PRESTIGIO MULTIPAD 5080 C PRO
HERE:
http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/36909-prestigio-pmp5080c-pro-rooting/
In case the thread is lost in time and space, I will copy and paste parts of it below here:
Original post by user xenonification on slatedroid.com:
***
Okay, here it is:
http://www.mediafire...gxa50m45c15zm5v
Installation instructions:
1)Plug in USB and turn on Mass Storage mode.
2)Unrar update.rar and copy update.img to SD card.
3)Unplug USB, A message should appear on the tablet saying something like "Would you like to update?". Press yes.
4)Phone will reboot and start installing firmware (Make sure you have power cable plugged in just in case).
5)Done
Notes:
-The file is much larger than the firmware file from the website. The reason for this is that when I rebuilt the system.img file, I made the image the max size that it could be.
-This is only for the Prestigio PMP5080c Pro. Do not try this on any other device.
-You lose your warranty by rooting your device (I'm pretty sure you can unroot it and remove all evidence though.)
-If something happens with the firmware (Tablet boot loops or freezes), remember, there is a reset button at the back of the tablet. Pressing the POWER button while holding in the volume down key will put the phone in recovery mode, where you can flash the firmware from here: http://www.prestigio...ad_PMP5080C_PRO
-I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device. Although if you are REALLY unlucky and something does happen, I'll try my best to help you sort it out
Just flashed it on my PMP5080C and it worked perfectly. None of the applications got deleted either. You can test if the root is working by downloading Root checker from android market. Follow the instructions and you'll be A for away
Good luck :clapping:

another user, bagy on slatedroid.com comments:

I did the same. Except I copied su and Superuser.app directly into the image (you can do that as root from terminal .. and IMHO if you open the file explorer as a root, you can do it that way too). I'm flashing as we speak (new FW 1.0.6). If it's alright, I can post a tutorial (I've done it with Xubuntu in VirtualBox) on how to do it, or just upload the file.
PS: The device just booted, root is enabled! Yay!

Confirmed, above method works.
Just in case, here is the rooted 1.03 ROM mirrored.

Hi XDA, today I'm going to show you how to install CWM recovery onto your INO 2.
I recently got myself one because my workplace does not allow camera enabled mobile phones.
I wanted the root functionality and CWM recovery I had on my previous phone(Xperia Arc S).
Unfortunately, Google didn't throw up the results I wanted until I came across this:

Following the instructions of the thread, I managed to install CWM recovery on the INO 2

This Tutorial was originally written by Rua1 on the Russian forum, here.... http://forum.china-iphone.ru/post986046.html#p986046 post #1000
You will need Adb drivers installed on your computer. http://pdanet.co/a/
And MTKDroid tools http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160490
Mtkdroid tools contains exploits necessary for the rooting process, and this may be detected as a virus by your antivirus program, just temporarily disable your antivirus while downloading, or if you're really paranoid, don't download!
Connect your switched on rooted mtk device to your computer and open MTKDroid tool, the tool will recognise your device and connect to it, if the colour indicator in the bottom left corner is green, you already have root shell, and can go on to the next step, if it is yellow, click on the root button at the bottom, and wait for the progress bar, if the indicator stays yellow, or you get an error message, this probably means you do not have Busybox installed, you can install it from the google play store. When the indicator turns to green you have root shell which is necessary for this operation.
image hosting 20mb
Next click on the tab 'root, backup, recovery' and select 'to use boot from phone' then click on 'recovery and boot' and shortly after a dialogue box will appear asking if you want to 'make cwm recovery automatically' click yes
jpg images
The tool will then create the recovery and another dialogue box will appear asking to 'install created recovery to phone', click yes.
screenshot program
And finally the tool will ask to reboot into recovery mode, click yes and the device will reboot into CWM recovery so you can check the installation was successful.
Thanks to Rua1 for creating this brilliant tool.

How to Install Custom ROMs with Rootjoy
Step 1.
Download, unrar and install Rootjoy on a Windows PC if you haven't done it yet, then run it. You might need to disable your antivirus app for the period of the installation process, then set the Rootjoy folder as an exception.
Step 2.
Enable USB debugging on your phone and connect it to a USB port of your PC. - Don't use a USB hub.
For the first time you have to enable on your phone to be accessed by your PC. Check the screen of your device.
WARNING! Updating the ROM of your phone with Rootjoy will erase your user data. To get a perfectly stable system by this update, that's recommended to manually process a factory data reset before installing a new ROM.
Step 3.
Click on the 'Flash' button
Step 4.
If you haven't got a ROM file already downloaded, you'll get the following screen. Click on the 'Download' button and after a few seconds you get a list of downloadable ROMs that fit your specific device.
You need a working internet connection.
Step 5.
Choose a ROM from the list and click on the Download button next to it.
Step 6.
Click on 'Download Manager' at the bottom right corner of the app window. Now you can see as your ROM file is being downloaded.
Step 7.
Click on 'completed', then Flash.
Step 8.
Here you can choose to make a backup of your old installation or skip it. Let's skip it now.
Step 9.
In the next step the Rootjoy recovery will be downloaded, then Rootjoy copies the ROM file to the memory of your phone and installs the Rootjoy recovery.
Step 10.
After finished, your phone boots into recovery and the update process begins. You may close the Rootjoy app now.
Step 11.
Check the screen of your phone. The installation of your custom (or even stock) ROM is starting.
The progress bar can be stuck at 50% for a long time but don't be afraid, the installation process is running smoothly in the background. It can take for up the 10 minutes.
Step 11.
After finishing, your phone automatically reboots into the newly flashed Android system.
No more tasks to do.

I encourage you to join UMI's user community: community.umidigi.com/forum
It is removed from Mediafire.
Can you upload it on a different website or service?

(T285M,....modified system image for debloat etc-tar.md5 fails on flash in odin-not sure if some signing is needed-have the system folder if anyone interested...took out some apps, added csc folder with some xmls for control on data on off auto for mms, added two fonts...nothing more than that)
also see page 14 here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...ng-tab-e-sm-sm-smnu-smp-t3302935/post66585078
I just got my T285 yesterday. Noticed that in Setting, App manager I can move some app to sdcard but after restart, the moved app disappear.
Sorry if I have mislead anyone.
Now I am also facing memory shortage with this 8G device.
I have lost all hope for root on the SM-T285. Why such a low profile device gets a locked down bootloader annoys me.
However I'm trying to customize its system.img, I'm stuck though as Heimdall fails at 3% upload everytime I try to use a repacked system.img file. Flashing the original image works fine though so it could just be in the way that I repackage the image. tune2fs shows some difference which I am still trying to sort out.
I'm willing to help if there are things that I can try.

i found this on web, seems fake but, uses a beta root file of cf auto root webpage:
HOW TO ROOT GALAXY TAB A 7.0 (2016)
Note: This is a developing story. As far, we have found only one way to root your phone. But if someone invent more tricks of rooting in future, we will try to share with you.
You can install Chainfire’s SuperSU manually using a custom recovery such as TWRP (In this method we are showing how to install SuperSU.zip file with TWRP). If you are interested, check details below but take a backup of your device’s data first. This method should work with any variant of tab including SM-T280 (Wi-Fi only) and SM-T285 (4G/Wi-Fi)
Step One: Download Chainfire’s SuperSu.zip file.
Step Two: Copy the downloaded zip file to your device.
Step Three: Turn off your Samsung device and boot into recovery mode (boot device by pressing and holding down volume up, home, and power keys at the same time to enter in recovery mode).
Step Four: Take a backup, it is optional but important because if something happen bad in rooting, backup file will help you to restore previous state easily. So press ‘backup’ button, check all the boxes for backing up everything and then swipe to start the game.
Step Five: Once you have taken the backup file, press ‘install’ button, locate the SuperSu.zip file and confirm you want to install it.
Step Six: Reboot the device and your device is rooted.

Yeah it's fake. To even be able to follow that, you need a custom recovery, but there is no way to install custom recovery right now with a locked bootloader.

Yes, it'll wipe everything if you follow the mentioned advice at the end of main post. It'll be as a new device. But remember to save your mi account well. or sign out before the flashing process.
Smartlock
Is somebody can say me if smartlock with bluetooth device is ok in miui 10 bêta. Because like for my redmi on my poco impossible to connect the phone with à Bluetooth device and have smartlock functional

It's okay to do it without signing out your mi account if you remember your password :b
EDIT: oh wait, you already said that lol sorry
Guys, I actually just downloaded the MIUI 10 .zip file (full rom) and used the System updater app to install it, 3 dots in top right corner, choose update package and then selected the MIUI 10 ROM.
I DIDN'T unlock my bootloader but I did enable developer options as I tend to do this religiously on all phones...
I have been getting OTA updates but funnily enough it hasn't changed the version past 810.11 though I am on Sept. 2018 security patch...
I'll note that yesterday it updated, I got the "Android has successfully updated" message in notifications but it is STILL showing 8.10.11...
A bit easier than unlocking bootloader, then using fastboot, took literally the time to download the ROM and put it on my phone.
Up to you how you wish to do this BUT, please note, I can't go back to MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM now unless I unlock my bootloader.
Oh, and this WILL format your data partition so backup...
I tried this method and gave me an error, when I tried to reboot my phone it just went to the fastboot screen and not to the device. Can anyone help me?
Can I flash miui 10 beta on a locked bootloader with stock recovery?
