Hello,
I rooted my phone (S6) by using ping pong root application, then i unrooted and then i wiped the data and cache.
Now - Download Mode
The Knox Warranty Void is 0. Binary and System are official.
But,
AP SWREV and KERNEL AP SWREV are 1
Is the warranty still available?
Sorry for my poor English
Thank you

I think your warranty is still on
No, i didn't use Odin, i used application(apk) for root.
Thank you for replies!
Can somebody who didn't root his/her phone check the download mode? Is it the same?

unrooted original untouchable S6?
Yes
After buying the phone, if there is a mechanical problem, in 30 days time i can change it with brand new one. At night time the photos are blurred sometimes. I can send it to the service. I don't know.
Thank you!
Is it normal under fluorescent light blurred photos?

Hi all,
today I've updated my S6 (920F) to 5.1.1. It was a mint S6 32Gb carrier locked to MEO (Portugal) and I've updated it with odin with the TPH version (Portugal unlocked). Strange thing happened when I've went again after flashing I went to download mode to check knox and it has a awkward status: KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 1 (0x0000). So...I have 1 for Void but 0x0000 which is normaly not void. Can anyone tell me what happened?
thanks in advance
Anyone?!
Picture plz am not following what you have mentioned

If you use Odin the phone will be 0x1, all root method do that too, even recovery.
And i like how xda advertise to have working recovery without tripping knox...
Quite expensive phone and still you troll people...
I know 1 thing through, knox tripped or not still a great phone, even through it still have too mjuch software installed that are NOT needed.
Hi Guys!
(I don't care whole knox thing, even warranty)
Can i still get ota updates if i got knox warranty void 0x1(phone into *samsung*)?
Of course i flashed stock firmware back with odin.
In downloading mode i get
Current Status: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
Knox warranty void: 1 (0*0301)
Knox doesnt affect ota updates. Only root disables ota.
Is it possible to set the code back? Im on 5.1.1

What do you mean by absolutely not? I thought Triangle Away resets the KNOX tripping. And I was reading it still worked on S6... Are you saying it's impossible to "un-trip" KNOX now?

Triangle away doenst reset the Knox counter, it resets the flash counter. This is very different.
There is no tool which can reset the Knox counter.

So the two years that I've had my S5 rooted, my warranty was voided and irreversible? Huh. I've never needed any assistance from Sprint and I'm hoping I won't now. Makes me feel better to know that I'm in no different a position than I have been. I just have to hope my phone works perfectly.
Would that affect my ability to sell my S5 back to Sprint? Sorry if I'm not on this thread's topic exactly... Should I end my line of questioning in this thread?
Just keep flashing the latest updates on your own by getting stock firmware and using Odin, that's what I would do if I ever went back to a non-rooted device - might go back just to try Samsung Pay.
Hello guys. Just a short but very important question. I'll root my S7 Edge incl. TWRP. I've made some experience in past with rooting, customizing and so on... In almost every case I noticed performance issues. In past I tried do flash the stock firmwares to get it to the original back again, but I didn't get any offcial updates about OTA. Its my first Samsung smartphone and I read there is a problem with Knox (security system for customization).
So: If I root and so on, is there any REAL solution to get it in the current untouched original state back incl. the untouched Knox status? (can I completely backup the current firmware and data so that have in case of issue just to flash it back?)
Hope you understand my thoughts

thank you. so it could be possible in future to set an almost changed knox value to 0x0? or just to prevent any change of the knox?
just another thought about bypassing knox... if it would be possible wouldn't it be a >big< security problem for samsung payment? not just for the costumer but for the seller?
what is actually the best method of rooting? is threre any difference? i found the CF auto root and the TWRP method (rooting after flashing the recovery). Just the difference between recovery or not?

Hi
Bypass knox bit setting to one , has been possible in older models and there been some progress and success in the S7 family but resetting it back to 0 never been possible
The e fuse 0 x 1 is not a security issue at all is just a way for Samsung to know you been messing with the device , you can reflash a stock firmware (odin) , have the knox bit set and be 1000% safe and knox security cover...

yea for sure. but when you could costumize the software and the knox wouldn't change, samsung payment would be fully functional, you know? or doesn't it matter for samsung payment, if you change the knox value or not?

Samsung payment or knox does not care about the e fuse ( 0x 1 ) state , it cares about the integrity of the firmware installed , for example if stock firmware is flashed knox will see the system as original regardless of the e fuse state

That goes against everything I've seen about Samsung Pay (or even Knox). Once you've tripped it (0x1) there's no way to get it back. Samsung Pay will not work even if you re-flash stock (unrooted) rom.

hello guys,
sorry for the bad english hope everything will be clear.
so i got my new phone 4 -5 month ago.
and my friend rooted it for me (mainly cus of the pokemon go hack), i didnt know the actual risk of rooting so i let him.
when i stoped playing pokemon go and found that that rooting ur device will remove the warrenty from my device i wanted to unroot it.
so i restore to factory settings thinking that it will remove the root, only like a week later i have read that restore to factor settings dos not remove root
so basicly now i want to unroot my phone so it wont cus demage to my warrnty.
i dont know much abut how he rootted my iphone i know he used a youtube video named: Pokemon Go Cheat/Hack for Android - Use a Joystick, WORKS on v0.35.0! ( new users can add links so i coulnt add a link to the youtube video but if u copy and past the youtube video name u could get to the actual video)
and on the descrition it sais This cheat/hack requires an Android device with root & Xposed installed. so im guessing this is what he did.
also i want to note that when useing root checker app it sais that- sorry! root access is noy proberly installed on this devices
pleas could u guys help me with guides and tuturials on how to unroot my phone after it has been reset to factory settings so my warrenty wont go off its a new phone =D

Greetings and welcome to xda. Firstly using odin to flash the stock firmware will completely unroot your phone. Secondly as soon as you root your phone knox will be trpped and the warranty void can not be removed, it is an efuse and once tripped it stays tripped unfortunately. Depending on your operator and country you warranty may be void or not but there is no way to remove the warranty void (nox tripped)
This thread will tell you how to install stock firmware again

Good luck
