I have an I9500 s4. Rooted with pacman rom [5.0.1]. When i am plugging into an ac charger its very slow and also draining if used while charging. So i used ktweaks to try and enable fast charge and the charging current is 500 amp (and sometimes drops to 300amp). I think the problem is that my AC adapter is being recognised as a usb port. My charger is 2amp and i have used it before and had no such problem [before custom rom]. So is there anyway to increase the charging current.
Screenshot of ktweaker attached.

Hi to u devs
Like the title says iam looking for a kernel that support fast charge and undervolting.
I read somewhere that with cm9 on the tab10.1 it was possible to charge the tab fast with a computer via fast charge.
There is hardware for this that cost some euro, so a software solution would be great and u can get money for this.
Additional a mod for a fast charge toggle would be it
Undervolting is only a cherry pick and not needed so much.
Thanks in advance
Next time post this in q&a not in development. Also fast charge on this tab would be pointless since a USB port would not be possible to output enough power to charge the tab even with the mod

Ofcause a usb 2 port has enough power!
U can try a samsung charger with 1A and it will charge the tab with 1A! I tried it with my galaxy nexus charger.
The problem is that they changed some connections in the usb port, but seems to can be changed back with a kernel mod.

you must have a magical tablet to fast charge with 1 amp.
Hello all !
I have a question regarding the charger to use with the S5. I forgot mine at work today and it happens that i have a charger for my Galaxy Tab 3 at home.
They look the same but have different specs.
S5 charger :
Output : 5.3V 2.0A
Galaxy Tab Charger :
Output : 5v 2.0A
Is it okay to use the Tab charger ? It won't damage the S5 ?
Sorry for the "stupid" question but i'm not too good with these things
Thank you very much
It should be fine. Especially since the Output is lower. It might just take a bit longer to charge. Also for future reference so as to avoid the possibility of getting flamed . You should post questions in the Q/A Help Forum Section .
Ok thank you
Any usb micro have to work. That's the main benefit of a Standard cable. You have the difference between charging only cable and full data cable but that's irrelevant, any cable will work.
My oneplus one is charging very slow i have used various chargers and the result are same just 700ma checking charging current using opo charging current.
Any help will be appreciated currently on franco kernel r39 and stock rom.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. In order to utilise the fast charging capability of this device you must use the official OnePlus charger, or a charger rated at at least 2.1amp. You also need to ensure that you use the official OnePlus charging cable.

hi guys im having trouble for finding a charge that can charge my samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 (not the actual charger just the power cord) is there a phone or another tablet or an ios device that can charge my tablet? PLEASE HELP ASAP :crying::crying::crying:
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. In general any micro usb charger will work for your device. The devices circuitry limits the charging rate so you don't have to worry about a charger putting out too much current. In fact, the opposite is true. You'll want a charger that's capable of putting out as much or more current than your device requires or your charging rate will be slow.

Hello, I bought a new phone which has a 5V, 2A, 50/60Hz charger, but charger came broken and now I'm charging a phone with original Samsung S5 charger which has 5V, 1.55A, 50/60Hz.
The question is can I broke my phone battery if I charging it with less amperes ? It required 2A, but I charging only with 1.55A ?
