[Completed] [Q] Surprising problem to access Wifi Hotspot in Note 2 (4.4_Rooted) - XDA Assist

I hope I'm asking in the right forum, I'm stuck for an hour in something I thought will take 10 min.
I have fast LAN connection behind proxy using NTLM authentication which I am sharing via hotspot created using netsh and then sharing using ICS. It worked for me when LAN didn't have proxy.
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid="NAME" key="PASSWORD" keyUsage=persistent
netsh wlan start hostednetwork
While my Note 2 (4.4_Rooted) is connecting immediately, apps and browser's unable to go online.
I have tried
1.giving the proxy in Wifi/proxy settings
2.giving localhost:8080 and localhost:3128 in Wifi/proxy settings
3.giving WiFi IP in Wifi/proxy settings
4.Did the same 3 in ProxyDroid.
Also, LAN has auto-assigned IP and auto-DNS. WiFi has fixed IP and DNS is empty.
Any ideas will be strongly appreciated.

Wireless Internet Connection problem

CANNOT CONNECT TO WIRELESS ROUTER
I own an unlocked Siemens SX66 with Windows Mobile 6.5 installed. I had no problems with it but recently I cannot connect to my home wireless network or to any other wireless connection. I went in to "Settings" and clicked on "Configure Network Adaptors" to check the "tiacxwln Compatible Wireless Ethernet" setup and saw the following settings:
The "Use server-assigned IP address" is checked and on the IP address column this information was entered and cannot be edited..
IP address: fe80::209:2dff:fe1
I tried to delete it but like I said, it cannot be edited or deleted. Is there any way I can take this out? I believe this is the reason why I cannot connect to my wireless router at home since my router cannot assign an IP address to it.
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestion that you can pass on to me

Connect to a WPA2 Enterprise WiFi network

Hi,
at work the WiFi network uses EAP authentification (with a certificate). Is there any way I can connect to this network? Will it be possible with Mango?
Thx for your help
Sent from my LG-E900 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
Okay, I'm no Wi-Fi expert but I was able to connect to my school network (which I think was WPA2 Enterprise) by entering my domain login credentials and then accepting a certificate. It has worked since the NoDo update.
I have a similar problem here: university wifi with a wpa2/AES-enterprise network and only a certificate to connect to...
If I try to connect the phone asks me username and password (the domain credentials?), but I don't know them.
More info about the network here:
3*w. wifi. polimi. it/en
I need to connect to "Polimi Protected" and "Eduroam"
Samsung Omnia W with software 7.10 (7740)
Thank you
My personal (home) connection is WPA2 Enterprise / AES2 WIFI setup.
and my phone can connect just fine, stats below.

Can't use my company's enterprise WLAN.

I am using DXPK9. My 9001 can connect to my home-used wireless router through WPA2-PSK. However, when I am in the company, it can't connect to the enterprise WLAN. The enterprise WLAN use 802.1X EAP. When I used my old G7, I just input my domain username and password. But this doesn't work on 9001. After I input my domain username and password, the connection keep connecting and disconnecting.
Please help!

[Completed] Networking issue in android 4.2.1 Galaxy Nexus

Hello,
I have a galaxy nexus running stock android 4.2.1 with a very peculiar problem. From time to time i have trouble accessing a certain website if i try from wifi or from mobile connection it doesn't matter. If i restart the device the website works without a problem. It was a very odd problem and kept bugging me so i tried to focus on finding the real cause. After a lot of try and error i managed to arrive at this situation:
I have at my disposal 3 different wifi networks (lets call the wifi-1,wifi-2,wifi-3) and mobile broadband connections.
after a reboot of the phone (just to have a clear state) if i connect to wifi-1,2 or mobile conn the website works OK. if i connecto to wifi-3 the site also works OK but then after i disconnect from wifi-3 and connect to any of the other wifi-1,wifi-2 or mobile conn it doesn't work anymore. If i connect to wifi-3 again it works fine on that network.
I've connected to the phone using connectbot and checked the ip address and different params. and i simply can't get a ping to that website. a similar website located in the same subnet but on a different IP still works.
So what could happen on the network layer on the phone to stop working the connection to a certain IP?
Where could i find some info about how to debug IP networking issues on android 4.2.x
PS: I control both the phone and the servers that i'm trying to reach and can't see any traffic coming from the phone on the server.
PS1: I couldn't reproduce the issue with android 4.2.2 only with 4.2.1 (i've also tested android 4.4.4 and couldn't reproduce) i've tested 2 different phones with 4.2.1 and the problem reproduces.
This seems like an issue of handshake and IP Negotiation on the phone. Please see what options you have in terms of DHCP and IPV6 Settings. Please also take a close look at the DHCP Lease time of WiFi-3.
Also Please post in Galaxy Nexus Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting so that the right experts for your device may be of help.
Thank you

IPv6 is disabled
DHCP is similarly configured on all networks. different IP classes. IP addresses change correctly every time. As i'm able to connect to everything i try except that certain website i don't think it's something related with dhcp.
