Does anyone have statistics about custom ROM battery life? - T-Mobile LG G2

I am trying to get some information about custom ROMs and battery life, especially for LG G2. I have used other custom roms on other phone and some of those ROM seem to harder on battery life than the stock ROM. For my next LG G2 rom that I use I want make sure I balance features vs battery life.
Any stats about battery life on LG G2 roms would be help.

Anecdotally I can report nightlies of CM12 have been giving me worse battery life than the stock LG/T-Mobile 5.0.2 Lollipop ROM. I have no metrics to prove this however.

just a heads up you might get flamed for this one. searching is the way to go.
s-off opens a world to custom roms, devs strive to bring the community roms that have improved battery life and performance, thats the goal. almost any custom rom you flash will have better battery life than stock hands down. All custom roms r sense based as of now, but as soon as ASOP roms start popping up ASOP will be the way to go for better battery life.
Flash a custom rom give the battery a good discharge then full recharge. Wipe battery stats and give it a charge or too. You'll see an increase
Flashing ROMS 101 always calibrate your battery when you flash a new ROM app is free in the market...

I understand what you are saying but i am looking for reports back on the different roms. In my past experience i didn't see better battery...I saw worse. My last phone was a MT4G and i rooted that one and did the custom rom thing...I know people are wanting to unleash the power this phone is capable of but i would think it would be at the expense of battery life. I dont know squat so it may not be a side effect but just wanting to see how each rom is holding up in the real world
no. using your phone is killing your battery life. and potentially your social life

Best Rom for battery life?

Overall, I am pretty disappointed in the battery life, and I think it is mostly due to the ROM. Any suggestions?
Uhmmmmmmmm first of all which ROM are you using? I have the a customized LG stock ROM with all the bloatwares removed and it's been okay. I also tried CM 11 before and it was good as well.

[Q] Rom with best battery life

Hey guys,
is there a rom with a better battery life than stock rom?
What is the rom with the best battery life?
Thanks for your help!
I tried both paranoid android and cyanogenmod for a few days. Paranoid is very good for battery life, but I don't really think it's that much better than stock.
I'm running stock right now and I'm perfectly happy with it
I have found that stock gives the best battery life, which can be further improved by using Greenify. Currently getting 2 - 3 days with average usage.

[Q] ROM + Kernel for Best Battery Life?

Hey I'm looking for the closest to stock ROM with the best battery life. Im not sure if i should stay stock and rooted (6.0.1) and go with franco kernel or switch to CM 13 (CAF?)...or something else even.
Id say my usage is about average, minimal usage while working, probably less than an hour talk time per day. Maybe 1-2 hours of screen on using various apps (browser, light games, news apps). Generally i make it through a day with about 20-25% left before i goto bed and plug it in to charge every night.
However when i do make more use of it the battery seems to deplete pretty fast. Ideally i would just like better battery life, its the primary reason i havent upgraded the phone yet. I dont need a faster phone, i need one that gets significantly better battery life.
Any recommendations would be great. Thanks

Your mileage will vary greatly depending on usage and what apps you use.
I have personally found that a good kernel is the key to good battery life. I'm a fan of Cataclysm and ElementalX personally.
Best battery life is with stock rom + stock kernel. Before i used custom kernels, but over a week now i have used stock rom with stock kernel and i must say that i get better battery life than before with customs. IMO.

Would flashing a new custom ROM improve battery life

I'm currently using stock MM rom and I'm not really pleased with the battery life so far. I can't last a day with a full charge and the battery drains somewhat fast. Call it placebo but I really think there's something not right. I tried doing a factory reset before but the results are still the same. Now my question is, would rooting and flashing a custom rom perhaps help alleviate the battery life situation by a bit. Maybe say some kernel has better battery performance or so? I don't want to root my phone just for the sake of testing it out. I hope someone could provide some real experiences with the performances of custom roms so far. Thanks!
Rooting didn't do much to mine. Not even using Greenify
