[Q] My rooted celkon a354c not showing phone/dialer icon & no sim setting plz help
Hi !!!
I have rooted my celkon a354c with KingoRoot and it was successfully rooted and worked properly. but BY mistake some pre installed 4.4.2 version apps files like Phone apk, message apk,dialer got deleted and now it is not showing phone dialer and sim setting and also not showing SIM tower on the bar.
the phone became useless as i can play games only but not connect to internet via sim card as it has nothing left such as calling facility and using internet. I can install all other apps like games and any other file but when trying to install even dialer from third party it does not work and says the facility not available.
And also In booting phone shows message like com.android phone has stopped and zyt.newstatistics has stopped.
please someone let me know what i do now???:crying:

Hi All,
Now I have Viber , Whatsapp , Tango installed on my LG P880 4x HD phone , and when u install this u got a SMS verification and i verified it.
Then I immigrated from my home country to Australia, keeping phone with me , and changed the SIM card only , and the applications (viber/whatsapp/tango) are still working with my old home number , which is great for me to keep in touch with people there using my account.
Now I want to change the phone or use another ROM , which will delete all the data.. and If i installed the programs again it will ask me to verifiy the number by sending SMS to my old number , which is gone now , and i can;t access it anymore.
The question now :
How to install this programs again fresh install on any phone / same phone after new ROM , and keep the old accounts without SMS verification?
any hacks?

Hi , recently I have obtained a few tablets made by HP but imported from China , I have gone through the process of rooting them but I cant seem to be able to connect to google play store . I have installed google play services and tried installing other google related framework and applications but it says no connection or server error.
I have googled and troubleshooted but I cant seem to get it to connect to google servers , no matter what I do the wifi icon stays grey.
Any help or enlightenment on this issue will be greatly appreciated.Thanks in Advance.

Thanks for your help , im managed to figure it out but heres the procedure in case people in the future want to know :
1) Root device (I used kingo root for compatibility sake)
2) Download google playstore,loginservice,serviceframework apk(should suffice)
3) Install root explorer
4) Move apk file to system/apps
Just want to know weather I have bricked the phone or it is something else and what it is. I tried to root the phoen with baidu rooter it does is i do not understand chinese so after it had done downloading with the binaries from the net and every thing was over I can delete system app and used app to check the phone was rooted. On installing titatinum backup pro it told me that the binary from the baidu is not stable for the current version use Super user binaries instead I downloaded it and restarted the phone and deleted the baidu but then the apps say it is not rooted, The system error came up . I tried to factory reset now what i am getting is the setup wiz fail then on skippin it no app screen you can acess the setting and then launch from the app if they are available as option. receive call and sms no outgoing so what is the problem and what could be the solution thanks in advance

After using baidu, did you use root checker or some app to confirm if rooting was successful?
at what point exactly did call and sms stop working and does your phone still show signal bars?

Have you tried the kingroot app? It worked for me on my a106 and the latest version is in English. You can find the link right here in the XDA website
Hi I have Micromax unite 2 8gb with 4.4.2 installed i recently rooted my device with kingroot after it was working good until i cleared the host file and now google play just keeps crashing and in the settings where i go to about phone it when i touch it also crashes as settings has stopped working i have tried factory resest master reset using volume keys but its same problem plz some one help me plzzz

well it looks like the software version of playstore and background playsetting is not updated kindly update and the problem would be solved, remember to clear the cache after the update and then run the app, Beside Playstore is not very good for your device, I would personally suggest using some other sideloading method for fetching apps from the internet then using playstore. Atleast not until you have switched to android lolipop
in my Gionee M5 Lite android phone all installed apps are getting hidden and are not showing the apps in the main screen. canu please help me how to make the apps visible. and also the installed apps are showing with duplicate icons. If i delete the any one app icon in this situation the total app is getting uninstalled.
