Security lock screen issue [SOLVED] - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I usually use swipe to unlock for my phone. I turned on fingerprint today just to see if I could get use to it. Now I can't turn it off. Options to have no lock or standard swipe are not available to me anymore.

By any chance do u know which credential is causing the problem.... I was assuming clearing all these credentials are not safe.

I cleared what ever was there... to get the function working.
Normally, for me at least there is nothing there.

Is there any guide how to get last tw to i9001?
thanks in advice
As for the shortcuts, you open the appdrawer, press menu, press edit, and then drag what you want in the shortcuts from the apps.
i heard that tw4.5 eats up a lot of memory, is that true?
Thank guys it worked!

Automatically Lock Settings

I think my issue is due to the device policy set from work so I can get my company email. I would like to know what file to edit to unset the "Immediately" setting under the Automatically Lock settings. As you see in the attachment I only get one choice. It was unset by default when I installed PA. I checked it to see what result it would have. I liked it better the other way but I cannot change it through the GUI.

Ask your IT department about their policy. If its policy, editing files isn't going to help as the policy will continually overwrite it

The setting was by default not selected. The issue is getting back to that state after I selected it. The device policy only limits the selections.
Well on my stock rom, my settings appear to be in /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/settings.db/secure

There is an Xposed mod called Exchange Security Bypass. It might be what you're looking for. I haven't tried it so I don't know for sure, but it's worth looking into.

Pink line running down the edge panel

This annoying pink line, about 2dpi in width, just popped up in my edge panel. It runs down the whole thing and never goes away. Even when i reboot into recovery. I've restarted the phone, factory resetted it, etc. but it's still there. The funny thing is it doesn't show up on screen shot. I'll get a pic with another device and post it when i can. Anyone have a fix? Is there a code i can put in the dialer to get to screen settings?

But it's not there in screen shot
If it doesn't show up in a screenshot, and it still turns up in recovery etc it's probably safe to say it isn't a software problem sorry seems like a hardware issue
Thats definitely a screen issue not software. Your display might have been hit/dropped but either way its physical damage.
Sorry..
That's what i thought. Ugh
