Hello all
I recently got a Moto G 4G XT1039 in the UK which was on the o2 network, which I've unlocked.
I want to use my Three network simcard, which works fine on stock firmware, BUT the baseband is o2's one, so with my three sim card the data works, but calls doesn't "mobile data not available" so...
Can I flash a stock standard baseband?
I've tried unlocked bootloader and installed CM12 but it get stuck in bootloop at the cm animation, so i've restored to stock... I'm oblivious what to do next?!?
Any help would be appreciated...
I just want calls to work!
Thanks in advance.
Ok i've read I need to intall cm11 first to get it to boot as cm12 just stuck in boot animation but for the life of me cant find any cm11 download links, anyone know any?
Thanks
Hi, please help, moto g xt1039 works fine on 2g calling.. but when select 3g or lte,
it doesn't connect call, always call ended automatically.. any solution please..??
Did you ever update the phone to 5.1 stock ?, if so it should work fine. If however you went straight from KitKat to CM12, that's your problem, the radio firmware needs to be updated. Links to it are in the stock image threads on this board.
I'm new here but desperately need help. A bit ago I purchased a new Moto G from Boost Mobile, and activated it, the xt1031 cdma variant. It came with 4.4.4, however I installed the 5.0.2 soak test by putting the zip in the sd and installing via stock recovery.
I decided to go back to kitkat. I flashed the stock boost 4.4.4 firmware, no fails, all OKAYs via fastboot. However, the rom would not boot, it would be stuck on bootloader unlocked screen. I tried various times with the same result. I wanted kitkat so I read somewhere that someone had flashed xt1033 asia firmware and flashed xt1031 radios and it worked. I tried, to no success. I then tried to go back to the soak test 5.0.2 this time via custom CWM 6.0.4.7. It formatted system. It booted up but had no radio or signal, no network, even the MEID showed as 0 and everything else including Carrier, phone number, PRL, etc as unknown. Only wifi worked. I tried flashing the 4.4.4 again, a deodexed from SuperR (which I had flashed before). It boots up but now my wifi is stuck on turning on, wont turn on at all. Before this wifi issue happened I had flashed a xt1031 radios, and kernel, also tried a apn fix flashable zip. Is there anything I can do at all to get it back to ANY working rom but with working radios?
Same Issue
I have the same issue did you find out anything?
I own Moto G3 (2015) duel sim Indian edition (XT1550). I am using 3G data plan of Tata Docomo. I have rooted my device successfully and have root access. Everything works almost fine except hotspot. Whenever I try to make mobile hotspot to use mobile internet on my laptop, I was unable to do so. I can make hotspot, I can connect my laptop to that wireless hostpot. However I am not able to connect to internet on my laptop.
I have used other non-root Moto G (same model) to make hotspot from same internet provider and it works. Alternatively I also tried connecting wifi hotspot from different device and with different mobile operator. That also works. Only problem comes when I am using my rooted device . I have tried changing APN in mobile network settings, so far no luck. Any idea ?
I have moto g3 on cm13 and mine hotspot works fine. Try flashing a custom rom.

I have already updated on rooted device by reflashing stock. So my device is up to date. But this hotspot problem was still there :/
Try connect with open hotspot ...without security..
Just set security to none.
