In my opinion, headset volume in Ivanich CM11 is just too low (I use sensation to listen music and Sultan's CM11 is louder), I tried to follow some guides to increase volume but I cannot find the file to edit.
Any help would be appreciated..

I can't seem to find any threads specific to my problem. When I plug my phone into the Aux jack of my car the volume of the person on the other end is really low. Usually I have volume set at 18, now it's set around 30. Oddly, it seems like all the other media/notification sounds are at a decent volume. Other threads have suggested not using beats audio, but I don't think that applies to me as I'm rooted and on CM10.
(edit) Also, I've tried using DSP and Volume+ to boot the headset volume with no change.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @ all,
I recently purchased the Moto G and installed (after testing all functions) the newest Cyanogen ROM. I'm quite happy with the overall performance of the device.
One problem is still annoying me though: The volume of every type (ringtone, in-call,...) of the headphone jack is much too loud, even on its lowest setting, since I'm using very high efficiency IEM's. The DSP-Manager doesn't appear to work (does not request root access, no change in volume when activated)
I've countered some parts of this issue with the following steps:
-The music volume is lowered by the Poweramp equalizer
-The volume of all custom ringtones, notifications and alarms is lowered by 15dB via Mp3Gain on my rig. This doesn't really help, because now the volume of all custom sounds is too low without the headphones. I barely get up in the morning, but it is definitely better than blowing out my eardrums.
So the question is: How can I activate the DSP-Manager? Or is there another way to solve this?
Thx a lot
EDIT: Solved the problem by increasing the overall volume steps to 45 via modification of the necessary .jar file via this great guide (http://chrisdube.com/increase-number-of-volume-steps-in-android/). DSP-MAnager works, but only with media volume.
Recently I edited the mixer_path.xml file to increase the headphone and speaker volumes of my Ls980 running Resurrection 5.xx. However I use bluetooth headphones very often with my device and this volume was unchanged. Can anyone point me to the line in the mixer_path.xml file that corresponds with the bluetooth volume? Thanks.
Hi all,
I've been searching for a way to increase the maximum volume for when listening to music using headphones (wired most importantly).
I noticed its lower than with Cyanogen and its annoying when i'm going out for a run and need my music loud.
I can find a lot of threads about it but not for the current android version / this phone/OS.
Could anyone help me out on this?
Would be greatly appreciated.

boost volume of what? headphone? speaker? calls?
For speaker bro
For speaker bro....
I do not recommend to boost volume of the speaker as it is on its maximal level already! When I set maximal volume while playing music I can clearly hear the speaker can not handle anymore... I won`t help you with this sorry
