[Q] Google apps scrolling stutters! - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am noticing that the scrolling in almost all google apps such as play store, google+, Playstand etc stutters a lot, except new photo app on galaxy s6. But the third party apps are running perfect.
Any suggestions?

[Q] Source of ICS ROM lag: Google Music?

Hi all,
I've been jumping between different ICS ROM bakes to find the one that suits me best, and have had to change some because they've become so laggy after running for a week or two, and I couldn't figure out why.
I'm currently on CyberGR's ROM v7 and it works great on my phone with SIO and lulzactivev2 CPU setup, no overclock, 18hrs+ with medium to heavy usage. Perfect.
But this morning, my MP3s started to skip and the phone was lagging and taking a second or two to notice each keypress.
The one thing I'd done, is sign in to Google Music (previously, I hadn't even started the app as I always use the widget).
I immediately told it to hide my online music, and tried to disable any sync'ing of the 20,000 tracks I have in Google Music, but it just sat there, lagging, 100% CPU, and a spinning circle.
Force-killing the App made no difference either. The phone was just lagging constantly, even though Music.apk was no longer running.
Reboot. Wait for it to settle... lag.
It just wouldn't go away.
So, I opened the App Info on Google Music, cleared all App Data and it's App Cache, and boom. Lag gone.
Open up Google Music, intro about online music, etc - press Back to ignore - play MP3s, all playing smoothly...
Has anyone else experienced this?
Does having a large online Google Music library mean I can't have it linked on my phone?
Is there a way to stop it asking me to sign in every time I start up Google Music?
I can start it via the widget, then open it... but the widget might not be on the track I want to listen to
Settings. Accounts and sync. Uncheck google music.
Now why didn't I think of that... hadn't noticed it hiding at the bottom of the Sync list.
Yup - lag is gone... Ok, that was easy!
Thanks
But does of course mean that I can't use the online Google Music thing... but hey, better then a nag screen I 'spose!

Android 4.2/Nexus 4 Apps

Hi All,
I ran into this thread on Galaxy Nexus forums. They have the 4.2 apps (Playstore, Music, Camera, Keyboard, Gmail, Launcher and others).
This should work just fine on HOS. I havent tested all But Gmail, Camera (sans Photosphere/edit), Keyboard, Gallery and Launcher WORKS!

Whats Apps Have you installed.

Hello all,
I was wondering what apps you installed. Also what apps you are using to replace default apps. or apps that just rock.
I was looking at trying a different browser like Next browser, and maybe VLC player (but this one has an HW issue.)
Any other good video apps.
My list so far:
Next Browser
Message (one from samsung)
Plixlr
OneDrive
Pandora
prankdial (still fun)
sNote (testing out)
Waze
Zedge
Scanner Radio
Office Mobile (microsoft)
VLC (but has issues. . . so staying with default for now)
Some Games....
Replacements for stock:
GoSMS Pro
Poweramp
Nova Launcher
QuickPic
Swiftkey
ExDialer
That's a very good question. I use below apps:
Instapaper
TUAW
Evernote

Rooted Cricket Samsung Galaxy Core Prime what can I delete?

I used KingRoot, rooted my phone. Now I'd like to know what apps are safe to delete without haing to worry that it will have adverse effects? Especially, wifi appts that were included with the OS.
list of built in "Bloatware"
Weather
Hancom Office...
Milk Music
My Cricket
Visual voiceail
WI-Fi
-----
Drive (google)
Google apps
Google Playbook
Google PlayGames
Google Playmovie
Google Play Music
Google Play News
Google text to Speach
Google+
HangOuts
Street view
TalkBack
YouTube
AllShare FileShare
Downloads
Galaxy Apps
memo
Now I Just Noticed that at the end of this list in KingRoot "System Core App(77)" removing will cause error.
that suggest that I could remove everything else within the listing KingRoot gives without worries???
I'd rather not have to do damange control or render this phone useless.
Thanks

Apps safe to disable

Hello folks!
Just got 8+ some days ago, and as usual, I disabled some apps to free RAM and avoid updates for (to me) useless apps. Thats what I got, without problems so far. Maybe the names appears different, because I use Brazilian Portuguese as language:
App Box
Bookmark Provider
Device Health Services
Device Help
Dolby Audio¹
Downloads
Duo
Facebook related apps²
Feedback
Files
Gboard³
Gmail²
Google
Google Play Movies
Google Play Music
Maps
Moto Notifications
Photos
Text to voice mechanics
Weather
Wellbeing
¹: I use PowerAmp. It have an excelent built-in equalizer and audio optimizations, but if you don't use it, I suggest to keep Dolby active.
²: I use the web version of these apps, through Chrome
³: Please, install another keyboard BEFORE disable this one!!
