Agreed. I really wouldnt risk it, sometimes the PIT can be different depending on memory configuration and brands (hardware patents), plus I wouldnt bother anyway.. 5.1.1 is now rolling out to T-Nobile USA S6s, so we'll be getting it in the next month or so...

Hi guys, just want to confirm if my note can flash other country's firmware,
my current CSC is KSA
baseband XXLGA (i think, will double check again later)
Firmware N8000XWALG7
i search in sammmobile and its from Saudi Arabia, now if i want to flash an Asian firmware, is it possible or will doing that brick my note? I'm from the Philippines and i dunno why i got the Saudi Arabia version of the note.
Is Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines firmware compatible with my model? Under settings > about it says N8000.

As long as its called N8000 its the same device where ever it come from. but if its called N8000T for example then its not the same. I flashed firmwares from China, India, Philipines, Germany, Sweden and so on. I even flashed thoose carrier firmwares and as long as its a N8000 firmware its ok.

Thanks, so if i want to flash which file should i start? Coz i see some updates are only 60-70mb, i also see 90+mb?

That one is update from OTA services.
I nver use it since my galaxy s time.
If u want to change the country, u shld go to www.sammobile.com
Choose the firmware u like, and install from Odin pc.

I have A Galaxy s2 Plus NFC phone. The CSC is XEF (France). Since a year i have been waiting for sammobile or samsung-update to put up the updates firmware. Last i checked 5 minutes ago and can confirm that its not there yet. I have also tried OTA, but to no advantage. I am still using 4.1.1
Can I flash any other countries firmware on my 9105P? Like DBT(German) or any other one
Also let me know that if i flash german 4.2.2 firmware on my french phone, will i get modem or signal or any other issues? or flashing won't be possible at all???

U can flash other country firmware via odin without problems. I have flashed germany firmware

Yes u can, but if u want to take advantage of ur warranty for repairing phone u need to reflash 4.1...

I was wandering how Sony pushes their updates.
I bought my Z3 (6603) in Germany (amaz.) but I am currently in New Zealand with a Vodafone SIM.
Do you think or even know if I will get the update when Germany is getting it or if I have to wait until NZ will get it?
Maybe the international firmware will be available at the same time.

You will get it the same time as your countrymen (Germany).
Or just flash the Baltic or Nordic ftf with Flashtool, there's no difference to the Custom DE one (or at least none I can think of)

Did used to get real bad lag but its seemed to get better with each update...
Not sure if its just me but my phones seems slightly more responsive following update 10e

I still get updates. They're just named differently and have some lag on when they release the updates. Its usually a week behind, but I was wondering if I just missed it or somethibg
