Transferring Cut the Rope from S2 to S6? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I've just done my first upgrade in 4 years from my trusty old S2 to an S6 and wondered what the easiest way is to transfer the cut the rope game across from the S2, intact with the savegames? Would Samsung Smart Switch do it?

Best bet is Titanium backup. But you need root for that.
Don't think the Samsung apps will do it, might be wrong though as I've never tried.

I would suggest finding an HTC HD2...the US version. You'll never get bored with it and you'll be able to run a great many different OSes on it. Trade you GS2 for one of those.
galaxy 3 is rare, so I suggest you keep it. Samsung only released galaxy 2 so you have a one of a kind device.
I think your confused. mine is a galaxy 3. Not a galaxy S3. mine is otherwise known as a gt-i 5800 apollo. It was bought at cpw about three months ago.

Im after a straight swap and i think i would have to put quite a bit of cash toward a htc hd2. Thats why i was thinking on the regions of an iphone 3g ors 3gs at a push

About to purchase Galaxy Nexus from Sprint!

I have had a Dell Streak for a long time. I am switching to Sprint for financial reasons and a family plan. I was going to wait for the Samsung Galaxy S III but for all the hype the phone does not seam to blow everything else away. I would enjoy the SD Slot but Sprint's 32GB should be plenty. I like the better camera but I don't think its going to be a HUGE difference. Besides those two things I do not really care.
Want I do care about is putting third party apps on my phone like tTorrent, rooting, and wireless HOT SPOT.
I want to buy a phone that has a HUGE Rom development community.
I believe if I get the Sprint Galaxy Nexus I will have just that. Does everyone agree or does someone think I am making a mistake and should wait for the Galaxy S III?
When you root it or flash a new ROM does it give you portable wireless hot spot?

Well guys I purchased the Nexus and can say that I love it. Also I use Foxfi for the big portable hot spot I wanted most so the phone is perfect stock and I really enjoy it without it being rooted.

wow nice .. let me know about it

I was wondering if anyone knew of the latest or best phone that has the greatest ROM rooting following at the moment greater than the Galaxy Nexus?
I have a Galaxy Nexus right now and its great but I am just bored with it. I would like to upgrade. The only problem is that I use [GNEX TOOLKIT V11.1.0] Drivers, Backup, Unlock, Root, Recovery, Flash + MORE [SPRINT] which is the best tool around.
I was wondering if there are tools like this or better for other newer phones that I may upgrade to or should I just stay with my Nexus for while?

Best cheap UK Android phone?

Hi all, first post for me. Fingers crossed I'm in the right forum
I'm looking for a couple of phones for my parents to use while the are visiting the UK from the USA. They both have iPhones there but need to make local calls when here and roaming rates on Version are crazy!
I'm not going to jailbreak there iPhone so I thought a couple of cheap Androids would be the way to go.
Ideally I would like to be able too root 'em and put Cm 10.1 on them.
They don't need powerful phones, just a couple of apps would be loaded so older phones are fine.
Any thoughts?

I need roms for a Alltel Samsung galaxy s3

Help I look everywhere for roms for a Alltel Samsung galaxy s3 sch-r530x d2xar phone but I can't find anything. I can find stuff for other version but none for mine

I know this response is years out of time, but maybe it will help someone.
I understand your frustration. I have 2 of these myself still in operation as mini tablets and for apps I don't want clogging up my main smartphone (the carriers put enough bloatware I don't use for that).
Of all the Samsung Galaxy S3 line, the SCH-R530X is the orphan of the family.
There are a few ROMS (I hate that term as the memory is actually Lockable RAM, not Read Only Memory - you can't update a true ROM) listed for the SCH-R530, which is for a different carrier.
In the end I had to settle for the D2LTE version of the LRAM (which I think the carrier is/was Metro). Although, I am thinking about testing the I9300 LRAMs as there are more options for these variants.

About to get a tmobile sg note5... some questions...

Hello to the greatest comunity...
Im about to get a tmobile note 5 next week (very excited by the way), my prior handheld was the sg s6 edge+ that i lost a couple a months ago (very sad for that) the thing is, i used to root my devices before the s6 edge+ (a couple of samsung models and a htc) im looking to root the device as soon as i can put my hands on it and im looking for a stock ROM but DEBLOATED and without the HOTSPOT THETERING LIMITATION...
I want to keep the phone almost stock for now, i dont want to get crazy flashing all kinds of things how i used to do with my other devices...
Can somebody guide me to the best root way and to a debloated therering restriction free stock ROM for the tmobile note 5 SM-N920T 32gb? Really apriciate the orientation, thanks in advanced...
Or at least, there is a way to avoid the thetering restriction?
No, foxfi does not work...

T-Mobile just removed most of the tethering restrictions yesterday. AFAIK
