Thanks, but unfortunately neither Framaroot nor any option using bin4ry's root seems to work on the A1-830.
=)
It was not actually a root, sorry for the confusion. It only claims the device is rooted, but actually not.

Thanks for the info. I just tried it on my a1-830 that has the newest firmware, and none of the srs rooting methods worked. But the newest firmware isn't in their listed of tested devices. Their list includes build number 1.011.00, but the most recent firmware is 1.014.00. I hope they're able to get it working on the newest version.

It didn't actually work on 1.011.00 either. I would expect to see a new tweet announcing 1.014.00 and for it to not work also.
Solved
try this

[Q] LG G4 Stylus (Stylo) [LG-H540]

Hi!
I am able to root my new unit via KingRoot. Now I am looking for a recovery compatible with my device. The devices I found here does not match my variant of the LG Stylo. I am just wondering if somebody has a similar device and could share their recovery.img and/or custom roms if any.
Thanks!

first you need to figure out if your bootloader is locked if it's not then TWRP should be easy to make for it if not then your in the same boat as use Boost Users....

you can just use kingroot to use it. i found my kingroot from google.
. .i also used that kingroot but when tried replacing it with SuperSU normal binary installation does not work. .now the only option is to use the trwp method but i just found that this device does not have recovery method. .it would really be a help if someone will share how to fully root this device aside from kingroot

Hi guys, Isn't the most efficient way to gain root (besides computer applications and apps) just installing a custom recovery and flashing Chainfires SuperSu zip or am I missing something?

Yes you are
you should have a custom recovery for the device which you are looking to root.
Most of the devices (new release) does not have a custom recovery released before a 5 to 7 months of time.
So waiting for it is a difficult job.
But for older devices you have plenty of cuatom recovery. So this is a good method to root older devices.
Okay thanks

[Completed] Rooting for Huawei Y560-L01

It seems that the Huawei Y560-L01 phone (with Android 5.1.1) can't get rooted.
I have tried KingoRoot, Framaroot, Oneclickroot et al.
Nothing seems to work
Has anybody succeeded in rooting this phone?
Have you tried iroot?

No, iroot is no better.
I think mainly because it supports Android up to 4.4
Guys I think I found a solution.
You can root the Huawei Y560-L01 (Android 5.1.1) by using the latest (beta) version 4.6.5 of Kingroot.
Just download the Android app (apk file = "NewKingrootV4.65_C134_B240_office_release_2015_12_30_105243.apk") to your smartphone from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=15961
and run it.
It takes some time and retries but finally it roots the phone without using a PC.
Thanks EzraDi for your earlier suggestion.

King root doesn't work with 6.0 as far as i know. Just with 5.0 and maybe 5.1.
