Minor Quick Settings and Music Channel

not sure if these were posted elsewhere. I know people made mods but it you don't want to break other mods you have, you may want to enable these manually.
go to /system/customize/ACC with a root explorer. Open default.xml in a text editor.
Near the bottom you will see two lines, music channel and minor quicksettings (attached pics), just change them to True. Save and reboot.

More tweaks in same file.
Change max password failure for lock screen to zero (disabled)
Disable safe volume on Bluetooth option. Mine is still enabled.
Mms browser screenshot (neat). Mine in this shot is not enabled.

allows you to share the browser page you are looking at as a screenshot via mms.. try it

cool ! how to make them scroll??? also How to enable more than 12 quick setting tiles? I once found how to do this and also had four going across instead of three... do you know where to do that? I cant remember or find it again. thanks

do you think you could highlight the changes in a different color, like red?

Lollipop Quick toggles

Hello, im running stock lollipop and i somehow deleted bluetooth toggle and added invert colors toggle to my notification bar. I have absolutely no ideea how this happened. How do i customize my quick toggles?

Playing around with Lollipop I accidentally added Invert colors into my quick settings menu. All the information I found said I needed to root and clear SystemUI data in order to remove it, but then I found this
Enable USB Debugging
Connect to a PC with adb
In a terminal type: adb shell pm clear com.android.systemui
Reboot phone
It will clear your wallpaper, but it does reset QuickSettings!

neat. i didnt realize that it was a feature in lollipop, you can add stuff to the quick toggle! what i did was just use a function(hotspot) and it got added to the pulldown

use a system function(like hotspot). while its on, itll be in the pulldown. if you dont use it for a little period of time, itll disappear.

So you cant add or remove toggles willingly, its based on how often you use it.

Hah, I didn't even realize this! I just recognized the problem from reddit and figured I would post the OP's response here.

[MODS] Remove Carrier Labels and Precise Animation Scales

I recently read about the use of RRO theming for the s8, so I took some practice and made these.
I have 2 mods.
1. Hiding Carrier Labels System-Wide
This mod basically hides the carrier label (AT&T, Verizon, etc...) from the status bar on the lockscreen and in the notification center (bottom).
You can see in both attached photos there is no carrier in the top left status bar and bottom of notification center.

Any thoughts? I'm making more of these mods. Give me ideas ;P
2. More Precise Animation Scales In Developer Settings

I'll see if I can add multilangusge support soon. So far It only supports English.

I downloaded both APK's and it doesn't show up on my S8. Am I doing something wrong or is it because I am on the latest update?

You have to reboot your phone. I had the same problem and that's all it took was for me to reboot my phone and then it worked fine.

Hey guys.
I used to mod the ViPER4Android apk to include a widget that allows for quick changing/selection of the currently applied profile. Seeing as ViPER4Android went to a Chinese company, they are no longer sharing their source code with us. With that said, I went on and made my own app that allows for the widget to still work using root. It also will applied selected profiles with certain Bluetooth devices. IE, I have my Bluetooth in my car set to my "Car" V4A profile. So when my car connects, it automatically applies my car's profile. Same for my Fugoo Bluetooth speaker.
Everything is hard coded so if you don't use the defaults from V4A it prolly won't work.
Let me know of any other issues though.

Love the idea, but I've an ancient Logic X1 with jellybean 4.2.2. The app can't install on such an old platform. Anything I can do to get it to install & function?

Yeah I can make it for older versions of android.. Android Studio was throwing all sorts of messy issues when I tried changing it but i'll figure it out

My wallpaper is kinda dark so i can't read what is inside the widget.

Hey, for some reason Nougat doesn't like the "default" colors I set for the app. I had to hard code them into the widget. I made the text white. New APK in OP

If I had the option to shrink fonts and icons it would be fantastic. (Like the Kernel Adiutor widget on the side)

I do have the refresh icon adjusting with size of widget itself.
I'll add an option to adjust text size hopefully today. Thanks for the idea!

This is the latest I have(attached to this post lol) but there will be no further improvements or anything because I can't use Viper4Android on my S7 anymore due to locked bootloaders.

Poco Launcher squared icons issue

I've tried everything and there are too many icons in the classic theme that are squared instead of being rounded ! Do you know where the problem is ? thanks

You can change the icon shape in developer's options, you can choose : Teardrop, Squircle or Rounded rectangle (and default of course).

It's not working for me. Whatever option I choose the icons shapes is the same as default. I use xiaomi.eu ROM btw.

It's a good progress but the default option still the same there are no option for rounded icons ! I think i'll have to flash it when the 168h coutdown expires !

I use the global one but yes I agree there is no perfect circle but Squircle helps for me, i hate those squares!

So, it's not just me. I 've sended a report to poco via the poco launcher help but i don't know if they'll take it !

Just change to another shape ("forme de l'icone" on my screenshot), and go back to default, it's working here.

If I turn on miui optimization I cannot adb install apps from my computer to the phone due to INSTALL_FAILED_USER_RESTRICTED error...
