Hello, I just recently found out about xposed firmware. It sounds like something I need. Ive flashed several times and know when it goes wrong it usuallylocks up your phone on one way or another. My only question is, is xposed firmware compatible with any galaxy s5 version? If not, which ones? I have the verizon version and Ive noticed not much has been written for these or att versions.

Hi
I have just Rooted a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N9150, android version 4.4.4, baseband version N9150ZCU1ANL3) with CWR.
since the device's ROM is Chinese I need to install an English/international rooted custom/stock ROM.
I can't find anything fitting for the device on the internet and these forums. Could you please direct me to some roms installable through CWR for SM-N9150?

i'm in the same situation and still looking for custom rom.
I am too!
Anyone have a solution here? Mine came with a ton of adware preinstalled and many backdoors to add more, so even after I delete what I can, more are continually added. It's been frustrating -- I'd like to start fresh.
1. TWRP is up
2. Stock 5.1.1 with baseband G920R4TYU2BOF7/HW version G9020R4.02
3. Kernel name: 3.10.61-V-Kernel+
4. No Mods
5. Rooted
Last time, I did any rooting and flashing was the original Galaxy S Mesmerize for USCC... Been using that trusty phone up until 2 days ago. I finally broke down and upgraded after 5+ years! So I'm a bit rusty on this kind of stuff.
I know when I was flashing with the Mez, I had to make sure that I used carrier-specific ROMs since there were subtleties in hardware and so on. I was wondering which of the Custom ROMs in the pinned thread in the general section of this forum were compatible with a US Cellular Galaxy S6 with the specs I listed. Here is the link to the thread I'm speaking of. Also, any hints, clues, thing to look for etc etc in determining if a ROM is compatible would be awesome.

Once again, thank you guys for all that you do.
Edit: Somewhat off-topic... OTA update keeps wanting to come through. Will OTA update undo root?
I purchased an unlocked SM-930R6 today but I can't find anything on it. It's currently running 7.0, but I was wondering if anyone has came across any development for it?
I can't even find stock firmware anywhere. Even if I can't find a custom recovery or ROM, I would still love to achieve root.
Any help would be great!
Thanks

Hey There,
Got my self a certified Pre owned note 5 from T-mobile which has been pretty fun to play with. Now I've gotten the Rom flashing bug, however my note came completely updated to the latest "N920TUVU4EQG3" firmware. Can I still just flash the latest TWRP through ODIN and then wipe and flash whatever Rom I want from the Tmobile note 5 section? Or will this cause issues?
Am I correct in seeing that there are no custom roms or custom kernels based on the latest tmobile release "N920TUVU4EQG3" firmware? I guess what I'd really like is just to run stock custom firmware with an awesome kernel and I think id be just fine.
Also do the Kernels/Roms over in the international forums cause issues for the T-Mobile variant?
Also any suggestions for someone who hasnt touched a samsung device in a few years from a flashing/odin perspective are welcomed :]
Hi, I have the same situation, somebody who know something about, so many thanks.
Has anyone been able to get a working root / ROM for the J3 Eclipse on Verizon yet? It would be so nice to be able to remove all this bloatware Samsung UI and apps since the phone isn't all that fast in the first place. It has been years since I rooted any phone so maybe I am just overlooking something, been searching but no luck so far.
From what I can tell, your J3 is identical to ours on Sprint, Boost and Virgin Mobile. Our TWRP may be compatible with your device. @ashyx would know better than I. Hardware wise they appear to be the same. Now software is another matter. Your partitions may be different than ours so I do not advise a flash of our recovery. But it is worth asking those that know more about it. Will depend on whether your bootloader is locked also.
