apologies in advance if im causing any trouble by asking any repeated question i tried using search couldn't find what exactly i was looking for,
i play an online game which has a event everyday. it gives rewards if you are able to click it first. i got a good speed internet but game works slow so i got to refresh event window inside game by closing and opening again. if i don't it takes 2-3 seconds to refresh by which time others already do the work. i was hoping there was a way to increase the speed at which game refreshes in my mobile, speed it up so it refreshes as fast as any changes occur in it. if this is possible please help since i got good speed internet it should not be a problem with my net speed. any way to boost the application speed inside. also i got rooted samsung s2.

If you haven't already check it out on the market. Those of you who do know what this app is, it could become a great success, perhaps as big as Foursquare if it's developed right. This is a discussion.
I I have a few great ideas that could really help the app, I emailed the Dev, but here are my ideas:
First, We need a concept for local small businesses to get involved. Like a local small business can sign up to be a hut for zombies or shelter for survivers, and they get something to print to put in their window--this can easily be implemented and will draw more attraction to the app.
Second, app needs checking in capabilities with a way to post on Facebook where you are at and if you are infected. This will encourage Facebook people who don't have the app to check it out, and those who do have the app will benefit because they will see you checked in somewhere do they will go over and try to attack/infect you.
Third, there needs to be some CPU players or computers for the time being--they should occasionally move around too, since the game isn't well adapted yet and not a lot of people have it.
Finally, the app needs push notifications via Google's cloud to device messaging (C2DM), and a widget so one can see newest info and if they are close to someone. Make the widget refresh time a fixed value of off or like 2 hours (obviously to force the user to check surroundings), and to manully refresh you have to press & hold your thumb on the thumb scanner on the widget.
Any ideas anyone else has?
Its interesting that I've not seen this as I search often for zombie games. I will need to get acquainted with the app but your ideas sound awesome.

I'm having a bit of a problem with GTA3. On the Arms Shortage mission given by the cop on the second island every time I drive into the marker in the army base the game crashes straight to my home screen, no force close or anything. If I get out and walk into the marker the game takes control and makes the player do a stupid lap around the base, resulting in death.
The game also takes control of the player every time I complete a casino mission and makes him walk into a wall continuously, the only way to regain control is to quit and resume.
Anyone have similar problems or know what to do?

i got the exact same problem, i think its the 1.3 update that causes it, i have not found any fix for this yet, i hope Rockstar makes an update for FC and crashes :S

I haven't had a single problem with my GTA III game and I've had it since release but have only started playing it since the 1.3 patch.
The 1.3 Update is great. The only problem i´ve had so far is that when i press the aim button when i have the M16 rifle equipped nothing happens. I can´t aim manually with it. This didn´t occur in Version 1.0. Anyone else having this problem?

Could you please? It's driving me mad, I can't advance anymore lol.
Also which button is to aim? I thought it was auto aim only :/.
It´s the menu button on the gamepad. Under the d pad. Just works with the sniper rifle, the rocket launcher and the M16 which obviously doesn´t in 1.3 with this button. You´ll need to use the onscreen keys to get into manual aim with the M16.

This is happening due to the High Cpu & Ram demand on the game as soon as you drive into the position, if you check the Xperia Play Themes & Apps section, my CAR MODV2 is available which was designed for people which there game crashes like yours, word of advice though, anytime you drive a police car it will be slow (speed)

Nah lad thats not it, thanks though. Don't really see how editing the handling.cfg is going to affect ram/cpu usage?
ATM I'm redownloading the sd card files as I believe some of the mission scripting is corrupted, the only reason I haven't tried this before is that my wifi connection is terrible, going to take a while lol.
If anyone could upload or send me their SD card files it would be a great help, when my wifi craps out at over 23% GTA3 won't boot and I have to delete and start over again, never ending cycle lol.
Sry guys, I just tried the 1.3 update, and I was wondering if I can can set the movement controls to the touchpads. I read that on xperiagamer, but I can't find anything in the game options, I can only move with the dpad. Maybe you just can't move with the touchpads?

When you enter the location, aload of police cars start chasing you & you have to escape, due to this your CPU usage is quite high & ram & probably cant cope

It has nothing to do with cpu or ram usage, it's just a glitch in the game. There are no more people or cars than in any other mission.
The way I got around the glitch, though, is by first walking into the trigger area (the blue circle of light thing), instead of driving into it. Then, as he jogs around the area ignoring user input, he will get close enough to the tank for the "door" on-screen button to appear, which you can press to break his jogging cycle.
He'll run over to the tank, try to get in, but it's locked, and you can then help the one-armed man kill the Columbian Cartel attackers.
Hope this helps others! Sure was a hassle for me lol.
Edit: I'm playing this on a Droid Bionic, btw, not the xperia
When i had this mission i take ol and use them as barricade and than destroy cartel using granades. Try it maybe it helps...

I had the same problem(crashing in this mission) and I searched it through the internet but i couldn't get pass of that.
so i tried different ways(because I had the same problem in some other missions).
at last I found it! the problem is with the cars..when you go in the marked area with a car,it crashes...when ever you had this problem,just go at the marked area on YOUR FOOT!! thats it..it works for this problem in any mission crashes like this

Hello I have created a simple app for those of you who live in NYC or might one day visit and use the MTA Bus system.
This app will load all the bus stops in the selected boroughs and find the nearest bus stops and tell you how many stops away is the bus at each stop.
I used to use the bustime website but I created this app because its more simple to open an app and voila the stops near you are there.

By default, Gear S3 is saving pressure data every minute 30 days back. By default, you only got Alti/Baro app capable to show only last 6 hours of this data.
I wrote an app, which can use this resource to:
- Show circle graph of altitude according to selected interval (TAU date/time picker).
- Calculate, what barometric change is due to weather or real altitude change.[*]
- Count you ascended and descended elevation.
- You can read every piece of data (date + altitude[**]) by bezel turning.
My idea of using this app is:
-You are on trail and you can switch Gear S3 to offline mode with display turned off. At evening, in basecamp, you can analyse altitude data. Or event after 30 days!
-During working day, you can easily track when did you used elevator, went the steps etc...
The process of loading a new data (when you select new interval):
1. Graph of barometric pressure[blue] ->
2. Graph of calculated altitude[orange] ->
3. Graph of polished altitude[green], now bezel is enabled.
As this is first release, please let me know here, if I should continue implementing this

[**] Now without any calibration, forced to 1013 hPa. But this app is not altimeter and ASC/DSC meters can be calculated without nearly any difference.
I still don't see why Samsung won't let me view the contents of their store using my computer. It is sometimes more convenient for me to see the info on a larger screen!!! But that is not your issue!
I guess the link is if you are on a Samsung (other??) phone or the Gear watch.

Hi, thanks! There is already fast scrooling implemented - if you rotate bezel fast enough (< 0.3 sec between steps), the speed of scrooling is growing. Did you mean this?

Oh, cool! I did not notice. However, for me, it is still rather slow. Would it be possible to increase the speed even further, or to even skip to the next elevation jump to see its time?

Im not sure but maybe your app des problem with shealth floors counter. When i open your app, i think it didnt count floors. I must reopen shealth app.

I'm sure my app can't cause this kind of problem. It only reads shared public data. It is like watching televison at home, you can't influence other TV watchers in their houses.

Yeah, I noticed this on new Tizen 3.0, which is rolling now. Many apps in store has now problem, I will update it as soon as possible.

Sorry if I am a bit out of subject but up to now her is the better place that seems to match my research...
I have a Gear S3 Frotier paired with a OnePlus 3, and I wondered if it exists an application capable of "mirroring" the sensors data (mainly baro and alti) to the phone, just as if those sensors were present in the phone ?
I guess I'm just dreaming for such a feature, but as I'm not a developper so I just can't figure out what is possible or not with Android / Samsung SDK....

Hi, this is happening if you performed update OS 2.3 ->3.0 without reset. Upgrade process destroyed many apps, Samsung doesn't want to help developers and we have no clue how to fix apps for OS 3.0. Sorry, I deleted all my apps because Samsung is unable to publish any material for developers about OS 3.0 upgrade and what is causing problems with sensors. API is the same, but apps won't work.
I gave it chance (here in forum), but no one is able to help. Reset works, but it is a dirty solution.
When Samsung finally answers me, I will update the app to the working version for OS 3.0.
Is there any reason why I can't download the app from the store in France? Is the restriction intended?

I've been searching for something we can use at my work to help our truck drivers pay better attention to their speed on various roads, or at least get reminders if they are driving too fast. We thought we had found one in Hudway's Speedometer app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hudway.speed, but the testing I've done with the free version so far is not promising. It would automatically find speeds, but it never had the right speed for the roads I was on, and only seemed to show either 40 MPH city driving or 65 MPH highway. And of course it was almost the exact opposite of what it should be, or if it was close it wasn't the right speed (said 65 MPH on a 2-lane blacktop county road with an actual 55 MPH limit?).
Anyway, what I want to know is if anyone has seen an Android app that can check the GPS speed against the actual speed limit of the road being driven on and have it at least be close to the right speed limit, and that will alert the driver like Hudway's app (or in a similar way)? Additionally, we may need to find an app that won't need anything but a data connection and no need to use an account to get the data (Hudway's app wants a Google Play account to activate any of the extra pay-for features, which still may not get us what we need). The environment is through a device management system that gets the apps on the tablet for us, with no accounts needed in the tablet. We are explicitly blocking the adding of accounts to the tablet to keep things from changing through automatic updates from Google Play. Our drivers are not normally tech savvy, and updates that change the apps they use like Maps confuse them to where they can't seem to function on the tablet any more, so we are trying to avoid that.
Any ideas or suggestions anyone?
