Good evening. I'm in some problems with my device. The situation is this:
I had the TWRP Recovery installed in my phone and wanted to install another ROM. It said me that was a wrong image, so I tried with another ROM and same message. The thing is that in the past I installed both ROMs and the checksum was the same, so both ROMS were OK.
I decided to flash another recovery and install it in the place of TWRP (the new one was CWM Recovery). When I installed it, y phone rebooted and the Sony logo of the startup was gone. In it's place was the TWRP logo and it rebooted again, and again. The TWRP Logo screen lasts at least 1 second or less and it reboots again.
My question is: is there anyway to recover my cellphone? I had access to the bootloader and the files inside in Ubuntu and Ubuntu recognized the device. I no longer have Ubuntu, I have a Windows 8.1. What can I do? or What should I do? Thanks for your attention.

best way would be to flash stockrom
google for "xperia flashtool" and download it
then google for C2105 (or C2104 or S36H) stock ftf and download
rest will be explained by flashtool himself

I Just repaired it. It was a little bit difficult to access flash mode, I needed both adb and fastboot and be like:
[start]
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot reboot
*Press volume up*
*Green light and flash mode? if yes: continue; else: return to start*
*Entering flash mode*
*Flash FTF*
*Success? if yes: continue; else: return to start*
*Flashed*
*Jump meanwhile smile*
[end]
Thanks for your support, my Xperia is now in excelent condition.

I have a Sony XPERIA Tipo and I have recently installed the correct CyanogenMod but I installed it wrong as I didn't first use the boot image. I have tried Sony PC Companion but it cannot find the correct firmware for my device, I have also tried other ways but they require using USB debugging which unfortunately I cannot enable using my phone. Does anyone know a way I can turn it on with my PC?

This did not work as PC companion doesn't update a phone without flash mode enabled, and as I said before PC companion doesn't work

I have also tried this and it did not work
It would work with Sony Emma Flash Tool but it doesn't currently support my phone, thanks you those of you who tried to help me. If anyone has any other ideas then feel free to reply as it might be a while before Emma becomes V1 instead of Beta.
Use Flashtools but in this time try the next
pull the battery , connect (when the program ask) and hold the volume key till the program starts to flash
Sorry for my bad english
Did you manage to repair your phone? I am facing the same problem.

Unbrick Tipo
I ran into this problem at night, and I tried out a LOT of suggestion, but nothing had work. So, I figured it myself...
History: updated JBMP ROM, and it's got bootloop, w/o CWM, or any recovery... Bootloader open. Flashtool sad: Error in processHeader : 22 : Device could not recognize command or Read error :31 : Attached device not working
1a: download Flashtool, install it
1b: find and download a Stock ftf, copy/move to Flashtool/Firmwares
2: Start Flashtool
3: click "Flash" symbol, choose Flashmode
4: select Stock ftf
5: make sure to CHECK under misc: "no final verification" AND "reset customization"
6: hit Flash button, and wait to prompted to connect phone
7: press and hold Vol- while connect phone to PC
Then the flash process should be starting, and finishing fine. This steps restored my bricked Tipo back to life. Just in case, re-root, and install CWM.
Warning: first boot take some times, be patient! Make sure to do another reboot after first boot up.
Hope it's help.

Try another USB cable/port. Sometimes this can cause problems, like Yours... If not use, try another PC. And if possible, use Windows 7.

Well, first thing I'm new in this forum so I don't really know where this question has to be, sorry about that
I have a Sony xperia z (C6603) and I've being installing roms these days using clockworkmod recovery, my phone is rooted and the bootloader unlocked.
Last rom that I installed was paranoid android 3.99-RC2
It looked like everything was okay, some problems with the keyboard which I couldn't use cause it appear a close forced window.
That wasn't a problem I installed SwiftKey and everything solved again
But then I wanted to restore a backup I did of cm 10 cause paranoid was too slow and, surprise, I COULDN'T GO ONTO RECOVERY MODE. When I reboot the phone it just skips the boot image where it's supposed to show the Sony logo and then you open the recovery with the volume button.
I tried to open it through rom manager but the same
Help please I'm completely stuck

God I'm stupid.
So I flashed a 4.4.3 theme on a 4.4.4 ROM, and I was stuck at the boot animation.
I went to recovery, found out I don't have any ROM's on my phone, so I figured I should flash through fastboot.
I downloaded the stock 4.4.4 image, tried to do the flash-all.bat, got an error.
I extracted the RAR inside it, manually flashed recovery, system, boot etc.
I can now only enter fastboot. Whenever I try to go to recovery or start the phone the screen just goes black, and all I can do is hold down the power button and restart to fastboot.
I sure hope you guys can help me, I don't have the money to buy a new phone

I'm trying the Nexus Root Toolkit, and before that I managed to install TWRP 2.7.1.1 and boot to recovery.
However, I can't boot to the system.
I also downloaded 4.4.3 and going to attempt to flash it.
The missing Sig error is normal and nothing to worry about

Thanks for the help guys!
Hello xda!
This is my first post here, and I am sorry that it is a one of me asking for Your Help.
When I first got the phone with 18.0.C.1.13 jelly bean it was a dream. I mean fast, responsive with a intuitive UI and with a low price tag.
However i made some OTA updates to kitkat and the phone became a fraction of what it once was. I now realize that I should have probably made a dalvik cache clean-up but i think i may have messed up the stock recovery with CWM and Twrp.
Long story short I got fed up with 18.3.1.C.1.17 CE and had found this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2762296
and downloaded XPERIA M2 D2303 Central Europe 18.0.C.1.13
Unfortunately RootLord links were broken so i downloaded from this user
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62242961&postcount=82
And then when i tried to flash the ftf for the first time everything unchecked.
On boot I got a boot loop
It starts with Xperia logo than some plasma waves resonating and then back to xperia logo and all over again.
I use flash tool 0.9.19.7.
Also i have noticed that in flash mode green light is only for a half a second while fast boot mode always stays blue.
I tried booting into stock recovery but I think i dont have one on my phone because a month ago i was experimenting with King root 4.1 and Cwm, Twrp.
I also downloaded SDK package installed Google drivers, flashtool drivers driver pack 1.5 from this forum
Also when I type adb devices into cmd or adb fastboot recovery nothing shows.
Please I am asking for your help because I dont know what to do, I have been trying to resolve this problem for three days.
Sorry for my English it is not my native tongue.
Hi, try with older version of flashtool, everything else from your description looks good(for me).
Here's a log file from flashtool v0.9.19.4 and the same firmware version.

Already did it doesnt work because the bootloader is locked
Here is my PM between me and AleksJ

If your bootloader is already unlocked the easiest way to update to latest firmware is through EMMA software.
1. Install emma and load services.
2. Reboot to flashmode - hold volume down while connect your M2 device to USB.
3. On emma select and flash latest update - 18.3.1.C.1.17
4. Update TA
Then if you want to use a 'permanent' recovery, download this TWRP by ericas and flash it via fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
To enter into recovery:
Hold Volume Down then Power OFF, when device vibrate release them.
Also, in this case (unlocked boot loader) you can use another(second) recovery too.
Good Luck
Hi AleksJ!
Thank you very much for your help.
I downloaded emma ran it and got the message that the bootloader was locked.
But as you can see from this screenshot imgurURL
It seems i was successful in updating firmware to 18.0.C.1.13
I think I should probably wipe cache and dalvik but i cant install via Flashtool(by Androxyde not emma) the recovery boot.img . I Choose option select system to flash and get this
pastebin Url
I also get that for system.sin and kernel.sin
Also I have a problem with adb devices not recognizing phone.

What's your final point then?
If you think that .ftf firmware file is broken, and can't trust on provided FlashTool log, then don't use it.
You can't apply boot.img whatever you want from wherever you want if your boot loader is locked.

The recovery you're booting to is not a custom recovery ,anyway I'll giude to installing I'll give some useful links.
First if all you need to unlock your bootloader go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/xperia-l-how-to-flash-tool-unlocking-t2337955
You may run in a bootloop (the phone stuck at bootanimation)
Just flash the stock ftf via flashtool .
Now go here and take the first method , it will guide how to install CM12
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63769485&postcount=2
Remember that the first may take sometime so don't pullout the batterybattery.
Good luck:highfive:
