This is indeed very nice. I wonder though if the apps made through this can have the same amount of detail/power as the ones built from Java/C?

The article mentioned GPS, Calls, and texts. So at least that much.

I applied but doubt ill get it. Wonder if itll be possible for someone to get it and then release the app on torrents?

I don't really think that they will limit the liscens for it, maybe slowly release them like google voice. will post when i get the email back though.

They'll probally do the licenses like they did Wave. So it could be a damn fiasco again. Even tho I got a Wave invite early its still dumb

It's a web-based application.

I signed up too. Sounds like the wait could be a couple weeks before the first "invites" go out.

Yeah, Monday would be TODAY. They launched it and announced it, but you just can't use it yet. This sucks.

Ohhhh boy, another program to take up all my time tinkering... will I ever get anything done in life besides messing with my phone? No.

i wonder how good it will be i've been very interested in seeing a android version of mymobier if a my mobiler app could be made from this

i definitely got a geek boner for this one. Super stoked as I have just started dipping my feet into development. This allows me to spend less time coding it and more time making it kick ass lol.

FYI, When ordering it never "made" me go to facebook. And it did not let me pick the headset.

Don't know. The site is legit. I gave them no personal information except my address. Said I was good to go. But like I said, I didn't get to select a headset type. It did it auto and didn't say which one.

I am not saying this is a scam but usually when something is too good to be true, it is, so keep that in mind

I actually use this site a lot now. Even though the blue tooth headset deal is over now.

Got mine today. Not a Bluetooth. Itis a wired set... And I think it may have been used....

Oh yeah.....Got mine today. See the pics bellow. I knew it was wired. But the thing ain't new. Gross. Lol - It was free and I want my money back... Not to mention the plug is like 3.5 or something and not usuable on the inspire. Haha

That's totally different from mine. It's branded Verizon and has a big mic boom.

[Case] Cheap & cheerful

This arrived today, the 1st part of the Xperia Z waiting game........
£2.90 from Ebay (UK), with screen protector, hard case, slightly rubberized, but not too much to be "sticky" when sliding into pocket. Very thin, will add very little bulk/weight to phone, and will stop the back getting scratched from laying around. Prefer this option to a protector on the back as well. All the cutouts are well cut, and appear to be in the right places. Back, side, and maybe a little corner protection, clips on. Sorry about the quality of pics.:laugh:

Just looking on Expansys at the Casemate Barely there hard case at £14.99...........the one i've got looks exactly the same at a fraction of the cost!

If you look hard enough you'll find the barely there case for £7.50~

With this case fitted will the phone still fit in the DK26 charging dock or will it make the phone too big to fit.

I don't know yet to be honest, i would be inclined to say no, it is very thin, but i'm not holding my breath that it will.

What are you going to be using instead?

I've decided against the XZ, i have been deliberating for the last few days about it, and was awaiting the "event" yesterday, and decided to stick with HTC, my last 2 devices have been the Desire and One X, and i like them, so plumped on the One as my next device.
Sorry to Aka91, i'm only able to post in UK.
