led flash issue on galaxy s6 - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Me and my girlfriend just purchased the galaxy s6 from T-mobile about a week ago. We noticed the led flash on the back of the phone stays on at all times even when the phone is turned off. It is very dim though, you can only notice the light is on in a dark room. I read articles online about an update coming out soon for a fix. But the articles i read are about 2 months old. Can anyone help?

Dim light coming from flash

I was going to bed and set my phone face down. I realized that the flash is on. It's not bright but it is on. It's so dim i don't think it would show up in a photo. Screen on, screen off its still on. What could this be?
Google fit bugging out your heart rate sensor perhaps
No I disabled Google fit.
I get this same exact thing. I thought it was cause light was somehow emitting from the screen or the heart rate monitor was being weird. Its very dim but noticeable in a dark room. I even turned the device off and still was present. I had a 2nd s6 that I hadnt turned on and tried it out. after some time of using the new device and turning on/off the flash the dim light was present on the 2nd.
Not exactly sure what it could be
I have this issue on mine as well. I first noticed it when I went to charge my phone over night next to my bed. I lay the phone on its face so the LED notification doesn't show. I noticed a slight glow from the flash diode. I thought at first it only happened when I was charging my phone. Today, while at work, I powered down my phone and again noticed the light. For me, its always on. I just got off the phone with T-Mobile and they are going to over night me a replacement. I mention this thread to the T-Mobile support rep and she looked it up while I was on the phone with her. My friend's S6 does not have this issue, so not all of them are having this. I encourage everyone to go into a dark room and check your flash diode.

Color lines on screen/ Turn off randomly / Impossible to enable wifi - Samsung GS6

I bought a Samsung Galaxy s6 last month. After a week of use I noticed few problems. Firstly, my phone used to turn off by itself (it was on the stock rom ) the problems appeared when I update to the latest android version ( 5.1.1 ). After one week every problem has disappeared and it was perfect.
But now, one month after buying it, new problems came. Color lines appears sometimes on the screen ( not everytime ) and then all the screen has changing colors and showing lines everywhere. To resolve that, i've just to turn off the screen and turn it on and everything goes alright but... after minutes, the phone turns off by itself and its very complicated to make it turns on. When I finally turns it on, I see again these lines and I can't turn on wifi and the camera.
It has never felt in the ground or in the water, so I don't think it's an hardware issue.. So I tried to flash a custom rom on it " XtreStolite-2.0 Odex.. " And the problems are still here.. I don't know what to do since I used all my small knowledge..
Hope someone will help me.
Thank you everyone.

Gear s2 classic screen problem

I had gear s2 classic for almost 2 years now, few weeks ago I started to notice a hallow of red tint at the prephiri of the screen, it's always there even when the watch is off, it increases with time, can anyone please tell me what is this.

SM-R760NDAAXSG Screen issues

My Frontier is 3 months out of warranty and nobody in Australia seems to be able to help me. So, The screen started going yellow one day and then lines started to appear over the watch faces and then by the end of the day the watch went into an endless bootloop. There was no way to stop it until the battery ran out. I tried charging it, but after a few seconds the charger started to blink red. I sent it to Samsung and they said there were no signs of water damage or physical damage to the watch, but since it was an "overseas model" they were no allowed to repair it. I contacted **** Smith and Kogan and they said they also could not fix the problem. I tried charging it coulple of weeks later to try to get pics of what it was doing and it charged up with no problems. I updated to Tizen 4 and then wore the watch all day with no issues. Everything worked! Then the next morning the yellow lines started showing up. I'm just trying to find out if you think I'd need a new battery or motherboard? I love my Frontier, but I really don't want to have to buy another one. I turn to the people of XDA for help.
Oh. Ok, cool. Thanks.

Green Screen

Hey guys, new to XDA here.
My phone is currently experiencing green screen. It started 2 days ago. I have been using dark mode since I got this phone last year and two days ago I noticed that the screen color isnt as vibrant. Imagine a black screen with a bit of white color. I also noticed that the lower right of my screen got really hot.
Then I restarted my phone a couple of times and I also noticed that during the Huawei animation, green spots started to display on the screen. Also, the whole screen starts to green when unlocking using fingerprint.
I turned off my screen the qhole day and opened it before I went to sleep and the issue went away. But right now, the screen would randomly flicker and display green color.
Im not sure if this is a display issue. But I have read that Mate 20 suffers this as well. I wanted to ask here first before I bring this to the service center.
Anyone experiencing this as well? How did you fix it?
Thanks!
Ok, so my phone is experiencing the greenscreen right now and I dont think it will disappear anytime soon. I did, however, install the Device Info HW app on my phone. There is this 'shell_back' on the 'Thermal' tab that had risen to 41 degrees. Any idea what that is?
