After getting Resurrection Remix ROM (which comes with a kexec-hardboot patch kernel) I thought I'd try installing MultiROM. I got MultiROM manager from the Play Store and it detected fine that I had the kexec-hardboot patch kernel. I went ahead with the installation but in the terminal in the app it give me the message:
Code:
preparing downloads
Skipping already downloaded file TWRP_multirom-amami20150201-00.img
Skipping already downloaded file MultiROM-v30x-170115-unofficial-amami.zip
Installing file TWRP_multirom-amami20150201-00.img... SUCCESS
Installing file MultiROM-v30x-170115-unofficial-amami.zip... NEEDS RECOVERY
It then asks me to reboot but doing so does not install MultiROM. I first thought that this may be an issue with my ROM coming with the MultiROM modified TWRP but I have tried installing MultiROM and recovery separately and together multiple times to no avail.
any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When I try to install the CM11 nightly builds as found through this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2570965
the update process fails. Below a snip ffrom the TWRP log (I've attached the complete log).
minzip: Extracted file "/system/xbin/vim"
ApplyParsedPerms: removexattr of /system/addon.d/50-cm.sh to 0 failed: Operation not supported on transport endpoint
script aborted: set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sdcard/ROM/cm-11-20140101-NIGHTLY-tf300t.zip'
Error flashing zip '/external_sdcard/ROM/cm-11-20140101-NIGHTLY-tf300t.zip'
Through creative Googling I found some references to the install failing with TWRP and succeeding with CWM. However, the CWM ROM Manager tells me there is no supported recovery version for the TF300, so I have no idea which version to pick.
I should mention I may have partially broken my partition table when making nvFlash available though. I made another post about that:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2594142
to which I was hoping to get a reply by now.
I'm hoping someone could help me out, I'd really like to try KitKat on this tablet.
Thanks!
Wrong TWRP?!

Hmm, regularly the issue with TWRP for the TF300T is that you need a very specific/modified version, more often than not for the TF300T not the one from the TWRP site.
I can only recommend using this script to update to CM11, as it does all the installation/downloading/flashing for you, inlcuding the correct TWRP and CM/Omni and GAPPS.

Hope this helps
recovery
Recheck the original post and make sure you are using the correct recovery.
buche,
Your script helped. When using that particular recovery, not only can I install KitKat, but my backups started working as well. Of course, the patched TWRP generates an error when installing CM10. Go figure.
norskyforce,
The post stated:
"To install, you need a recent CWM or other recovery."
I figured I was fine with the TWRP from the TWRP site. Apparently not.
Maybe I'll try the poster's recovery image. I'm still looking for the correct CWM to use, to see if it has more options. I miss 4ext
Thanks for the help.
Unfortunately, CM11/Omni don't appear to support my WiFi's channel 13. Took me a while to figure out why I could see all the neighbors' networks, but not my own.
And I just figured out neither CM10 or 11 supports my ASUS Connect Dock, which I use for the wired ethernet and USB. Grrr...

In the case of a OnePlus One, this was a stock 4.4.4 ROM. If you're using Windows, you can use the official NETHUNTER WINDOWS INSTALLER, which selects the correct image to download based on your device model.

I can confirm that this also works on OnePlus One! In my case these are the steps I followed (for your own sake, please read all steps before doing any of them):
Start from having a Stock CM12.0S Lollipop ROM installed.
If wasn't done previously: Backup + Unlock + Root + Backup EFS.
Install MultiROM and get it running according to one of the guides linked-to from the Play store page of MultiROM. Make sure you select the correct kernel version 5.0.x!!!! I wasn't paying attention and lost both of my WiFi and cellular connections after reboot and had to flash a bunch of stock ROMs randomly to fix it.
Perform a nandroid backup and copy it to your computer.
Install NetHunter using the Windows tool (may require manually flashing the kali_linux_nethunter_1.xx_...zip at the end) (see link at the top).
Install MultiROM again, this time on NetHunter, selecting the proper kernel (4.4.x).
Go to the MultiROM TWRP and:
Perform a nandroid backup as a precaution.
Transfer the first nandroid backup to device and add it as a ROM "from backup".
Swap the main ROM (which is currently NH) with the newly restored backup (Lollipop).
Boot into Lollipop and run MultiROM again, going through the setup steps again (this is needed so you could boot into NH. If you skip this step you will get a message when attempting to boot into NH that the kernel needs patching).
That's it!
Finally got NH to dual boot on my N5 CM12.1 nightly by installing multirom with CM12.1 kernel, search and download aosp_hammerhead-ota-eng.proxuser-14-11-2013 zip to your SD, flash via modded multirom twrp: advanced, multirom, add zip and reboot. Be quick and choose to boot into the Kitkat ROM. Reboot again but into recovery and flash SU to Kitkat ROM via advanced, list roms, choose the Kitkat rom, flash zip. Reboot once more and flash NetHunter Kitkat zip on top of the Kitkat rom you just flashed and rooted with SU via Advanced, multirom, list ROMs, choose Kitkat rom, flash zip. Optional: Reboot into recovery, go to advanced, multirom, list roms and rename it to whatever you want e.g. NetHunter. Reboot, Enjoy!
Tried several stock lollipop ROMs with NetHunter for lollipop to no avail. This is the only method I found that worked...
I started experimenting with my old P3113 last night and ran into a bit of a problem. I successfully rooted using Odin 3.09, verified with root checker. I also successfully flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0 via Odin. All root and TWRP install/flashes were successful via Odin.
Following these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...m-dhollmen-lollipop-5-0-2-2015-02-02-t3020849
I downloaded the Dhollmen-P31xx-Kernel_20150215.zip and saved to the Download folder on the tab. From TWRP I ran a wipe and installed the .zip. I reboot the device and I am returned to TWRP recovery. TWRP tells me that the installation was successful however the log says "no MD5 file found". Does this have anything to do with why my device isn't booting properly? I've rooted other devices and flashed ROM's before but I don't understand what I missed on this one. Do I just need to try a different ROM? For reference I am still able to access download menu.
Any help would be appreciated!
Well, the "no MD5 file found" just means TWRP cannot verify the MD5 hash of the ZIP file - that's actually a security meassure to ensure the ZIP file didn't get damaged during download or transfer onto the tab.
Now ... once you flashed TWRP (which you obviously already successfully did) and flashed the Kernel (which you obviously also already successfully did) it would be about time to flash the actual Dhollmen ROM that goes along with the Kernel ... I doubt the Kernel will boot up your vanilla Samsung stock ROM.
In short (haven't read the ROM thread nor did I ever use Dhollmen, so check back to make sure it's about right): Download the ROM, download the GApps package for the ROM and download the Superuser package (if not already included in the ROM) of your choice. Put the files onto either a FAT32 formatted SD card (if you can't put them into the NAND "SD card" partition at the moment) or onto a FAT32 formatted USB stick (given you have a USB-OTG cable), plug it in (if you use a USB stick make sure your tablet is CHARGED!), boot into recovery and flash the files in one go ... ROM, Gapps, SU.
Run a wipe (Data and Cache) when everything is flashed to nuke any left-overs from the Stock ROM and reboot to system.
Keep in mind the first boot can take quite some time ... don't panic if the boot animation "just sits there" for 5<->15 minutes.
Easiest way would be to actually use a ROM that doesn't require a extra Kernel ... like Android-Andi's CyanogenMod 12.1 or Omni ROM 5.1 (use the 3110 versions for your 3113).
Hey everyone,
During the initial versions of LineageOS, I wasn't been able to install it due to error:7 (Baseband error).
Now, I have tried a method that worked on my yu Yunique device.
This method can be used for any other device also but you have to find corresponding ROM file and other stuffs for your device only.
**Remember to take a full backup before experimenting with your device**
Procedure:
You need following things before you start-
1. LineageOS rom file: https://download.lineageos.org/jalebi
2. Open Gapps: http://opengapps.org (choose platform=ARM, android=7.1 and variant of your choice)
3.Caesium kernel: https://transfer.sh/Yqhm8/Caesium-jalebi-20170701-140319-v2.1.zip
4:LineageOS root file:https://download.lineageos.org/extras (Name: su(arm), version:14.1)
5. Firmware File: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298934200
NOTE **There are some times that this method won't work in the latest TWRP i.e 3.0.3-0. So, revert back to TWRP 2.8.7.0 and then try the given method.**
Method:
1. After taking a backup of your previous working ROM, wipe off the Dalvik cache + system + cache + data in the recovery.
2. Flash the firmware image.( This solves the baseband error problem)
3. Flash the lineageOS rom file.
4. Now flash the caesium kernel( prevents bootloop)
5. after flashing all 3 files, reboot into system.
The first bootup will take about 2-3 minute(can go upto 5-7 min also). so have patience.
This worked for me. If it also works for you too, then please tell.
Also, you can watch my youtube video for the same:https://youtu.be/nYOsDeG5Kfs
Thank you
NOTE**All the file provided above belongs to their corresponding developers. I am just sharing it for help**

You can also solve this prob by delete baseband line in updater script

Hello!
I'm trying to flash my Google Pixel with the latest Paranoid Android 7.3.1. I downloaded the Sailfish Paranoid Android .zip file along with my correct Open GApps .zip file. I already have TWRP installed on my device.
When I try to install The two zip files in TWRP, I get an error. It will not install Paranoid. It says something like "Looking for [a file inside of the zip file]" then "skipped [this file]" and finally "cannot install file [Paranoid file path]".
I'm completely lost on what this means and how to fix it. Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks!
I had the same error message but didn't know what the cause was or how to fix it so I reverted back to stock rom.
