[Q] Unable to downgrade P500 from CM11 (error status 7) - Optimus One, P500, V Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi there,
I've this Optimus one P500 that i've tried to upgrade to Cyanogen, starting from 7 up to 11.
once that i've noticed that the phone was completely unusable (way too slow to start, Gapps doesn't work at all, and so on) i tried to downgrade it back to the 7 but every time that i try to flash it i receive the same error status 7.
the file is the same that i used before, and i'm sure that it's the right one.
i also tried to delete the assert but i keep getting this error (maybe i deleted the wrong part?).
is there any hope to go back to the cyanogen mod 7 or at least to the stock ROM?

[Q] Nexus 5 Not allowing to install OS, cannot mount to PC, Only bootloader or TWRP

Hi all,
I have a Nexus 5 bought In Israel. It came with 4.4.1 and I updated to 4.4.2 and I wanted a change so I installed PA ROM beta 4.
Now from here all hell broke loss...
For some reason my vibration motor stopped working completely and from time to time it gave me this weird vibration for maybe 2 hours and then disappeared again... I'm not blaming this on the ROM.
Yesterday I got an update that PA ROM beta 5 was out so I installed it through their OTA app. After the update I had no keyboard, my volume buttons did not respond well so I thought maybe the update was a bit off, So I did a Factory reset. after the reset the OS was still shaky and laggy so I wanted to go back to stock... I found a Stock odexed ROM, got into TWRP wiped everything except sd, and went on to install the new ROM.
(I did not make a backup).
Now my problem Is that I could not install the stock ROM, every time i tried to flash it it would stop and not install...
Now i'm stuck in TWRP without the ability to mount my phone to try and change the ROM... when I reboot it says I have no OS...
I tried working with the Nexus 5 toolkit and install stock from there and also nothing helps...
I tried installing the Stock from Google manually with fastboot commands and still no answer from the phone...
Please does anyone have an idea for me?

Then you have to flash the stock rom and start over, here is u tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2513701 to flash the rom. Google rom`s https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images?hl=nl.
I think you have to format data and the try flashing any rom, this has happened to me 2 times already. Twrp is the culprit i believe

[Q] Success! and Failure? New question.

After system magically repaired itself (which no-one could apparently give me an idea how) I still wanted to try to install the stock recovery.
It's a Huawei Mediapad (S7-303u model 301u build) that I put ClockworkMod Recovery on.
After trying a bunch of different ways I could find to put the zip rom on it CWM kept telling me it was starting it and 1 second later it said installation aborted.
So for the hell of it I tried the Cyanogenmod 10.1 I wanted to try and THAT worked!
It put Jellybean on it and the apps I had left were still there.
Bad thing? WIFI apparently won't work now. It keeps trying to turn it on but never does. And the wifi advanced settings keeps defaulting to Europe standard and Auto frequency selection
instead of letting me keep it on US standard and 2.4ghz frequency.
So I tried again to put the stock Huawei rom in. Same thing, installation aborted.
Tried to use fastboot update method. IT says android-product and android-info not found.
Anyone have an idea what I can do to either....
1 - get the wifi to work
2 - how to get the stock rom back in
or
3 - If I can install Cyanogen 11 over it because supposedly everything words on that rom. Maybe the wifi will work with that along with KitKat improvements. Maybe, because wifi was supposedly working in cm10.1 too.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Also, what is kept in the devices root/firmware folder? Is that where the devices original firmware it shipped with is kept?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 L710 Flashing Cyanogenmod Failure

I am stuck. My phone won't accept any ROMs I try to install. It keeps giving me the "Status 7" Error and I can't figure out why!
the backup recovery failed.
I am using TWRP as my recovery, but it is an old version (V2.2.1.1). I have tried multiple releases for CM, but none of them work, not even the stable ones.
The phone has already been wiped so i cant get back into stock android to fix much.
I have tried going into the "updater-script" file and deleting the code for checking the device matches the rom, but no luck. i have also tried installing a rom that wasn't cyanogenmod but i ran into the same problems.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME?!?!?
I really dont want to have to throw away a good phone because i missed something.

[Q] Nexus 5 error in cache/update.zip (status 7)

It's been almost a year since I got a used perfect condition nexus 5 . It's been great until lately on and ano rood 5.0 and 5.0.1 updates where I wasn't able to install any of them. It downloads and all but when it's around 1/3 completed of installing it stops and say error in cache /update.zip (status 7) and then I have to reboot. This is the regular update that phones do. Not the sdk update that you manually do.. please help thanks
You are not 100% stock...
root? custom kernel? other mods?
You can go through the below thread, this is discussed a lot of times. Unless you're fully stock, you will not be able to flash the rom directly.

[Completed] Samsung A3 (SM-A300FU) Cyanogenmod 13 not working but 12.1

I have been running Cryogenmod 12.1 for my Samsung SM-A300FU but its UNOFFICIAL and a preview the webpage i got it off says 'Wifi and Camera NOT WORKING'. I guess thats what i get for following my mates advice.
Because of this, i looked at CM13 (Android 6) which i got off the XDA site and i have made sure it is for my phone and model, the SM-A300FU. Of course, being my luck it didnt work. I get the error of 'Executing updater binary in zip' and i have wiped my phone then tried to install it and i have also tried to completly remove all OS and files then install it which apparently fixed it for people, but not me of course. In a desperate measure i even bluetoothed the ROM to another phone then back into my SM-A300FU to get it onto the internal storage but that obviously didnt change anything.
Finally, i gave up and tried to downgrade back to Android 5.0.2 although this isnt a CM zip. Once again, this ROM doesnt work. It just gives me an error saying it failed, no reason in particular.
I have a few issues for a whole range of files. Any help in fixing any or all of these would be much appreciated.
Links to the files I sites i downloaded the files from:
CM 12.1 UNOFFICIAL (Not meant to work fully) - https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-samsung-galaxy-a3-t3273323
CM 13 (Doesnt install) - https://forum.xda-developers.com/samsung-a-series/orig-development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-unofficial-samsung-t3326297

So to reitterate: I installed the CM 12.1 ROM without issues but it turns out to be a mod that doesnt work fully meaning its unsuitable for me. I downloaded CM 13 but this gets an error. I downloaded a Android 5.0.2 ROM which has an error it doesnt even tell me about.

Greetings and welcome to assist. Which recovery are you using ? Have you tried to update to the latest ? Also if that doesn't work try using odin to go back to latest stock then reflashing custom recovery
