hi guys.. Im looking to buy a new phone, im thinking between z3 and zenfone2..
z3 would be used month old, zf2 a brend new. I know z3 is a premium model, zf2 is a budget phone, in this case price would be the same.
Please share your thoughts on this.. Why is z3 better than zf2 or otherwise.

I have used both and they aren't really comparable phones. Zenfone 2 is good enough if you are on a budget and want the bigger screen but if you can, get a Z3 or Z3 dual.

So as the title suggest I have the OnePlus One 64gb.
I am thinking of swapping it for an Xperia Z3, I haven't seen a lot of comparison videos, well none actually, so just wondering what you users of the Z3 think?
One thing that i am concerned about is development, it seems quite slow on the Z3 so far will the one plus has a plethora of roms available. What is the stock rom like?
Another thing that is slight swaying me is the size and camera.
If you guys could offer could offer me some advice that would be great!

I haven't get a Z3 for myself yet but these are the info I knew
First of all,the OnePlus One uses the Snapdragon 801 MSM8974-AC Quad-core 2.5GHz chipset which was the same as the Xperia Z3
Both of them have 3GB of RAM & 3100mAh battery
Of course,you will get a smaller screen on the Z3 at 5.2" versus the OnePlus One at 5.5" but the Z3 has the brightest display in an IPS display
For the size,the Z3 is very slim at only 7.3 mm & weighs 152 grams while the OnePlus One was 8.9 mm thick & weighs 162 grams
The new design, rounded corners on the Z3 feels more better in holding & rated at highest IP 65/68 for dust & waterproof
Talking about camera,Z3 boosts a 20.7MP 1/2.3" camera with 25mm wide G-Lens,should be able to win the OnePlus One
Xperia UI is very nice.Sony has make it more like stock Android with some small modifications & some addons
I'm excited about what Sony will make in their Android 5.0 Lollipop UI

Well im planning to buy Xperia M2 Aqua, but it prings up some concerns about development for this phone. On paper it has very simmilar specs to Xperia M2:
Both have 1GB RAM
Both have 4.8 inch 540x960 screens
Both have 8MP camera
With only diffrence being in proccesors (witch from what i know makes pretty much all the diffrence)
1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8926 Quad Core (only for Xperia M2 D2303,D2306)
vs
1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8926-2 Quad Core (for Xperia M2 Aqua)
I dont really know whats the diffrence between both proccesors, doubt we can talk about compatiblity. But its not a big diffrence right?
So would there be any development for Xperia M2 Aqua, since i doubt its going to get a seprete forum (would be great though)?
- The screen is now marketed as IPS but it still has the greenish tint at lower light settings, so no improvement.
- The resolution is the same QGA and that's fine for a 4.8 screen in my books.
- The water-resistant covers eventually drop off after some months of use, at least this is what happened on my V. Anyway don't rely on that and emerge into water. When new it's ok but after weeks ... you wouldn't be the first.
- The powers saving are attributed mostly to KK, you can have that also on the non aqua model.
- As for the processor I can't say anything, except that on my 2303 the core 2 and 3 are pretty rarely used. A custom kernel would be really needed here.
- The glass is still the same, declared scratch resistant but not Corning, and smudging in the same manner.
- 1 gB RAM to my opinion in practice is not really enough anymore, but that does not concern Sony only.
- Sony is not exchanging our devices for the after 5 months after launch updated M2. Also consider a Asus Zenfone, Xiaomi, or a Lenovo in this class. They cost either less or offer much more for the same cash.
Well Xiaomi is pretty much non existant in my country, same for Lenovo phones. I was considering Asus Zenfone 5 for a while, but the M2 Aqua has like 70€ price cut, so its a good deal for only 199€. The major problem is that i'd like to get Cyanogenmod on it one day, but though thats happing.

welll, they're a much better than M2 but they won't give a software support on it

I was using Sony Xperia Z1 till yesterday (now my phone is not turning on with red light blinking) and planning to buy a new phone which has best specifications at budget price. I m a fan of Sony and was using Z1 (brought it from eBay - imported) for past 2 years and replaced Sony battery once (30 Mar 2016) and now its totally dead even after replacing battery 5 months back. I am disappointed with Sony’s heating and battery problem (short battery life). Suggest me some mobiles to buy (preferably Sony ) . I need good looking stylish phone with good display quality (HD, 4K), primary and secondary camera, supports most of the games and with 4G-network.

I would suggest checking out the OnePlus 3, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Axon 7, and Honor 8. I would venture away from Sony personally because you can find a lot of other good phones.

im thinking about xioami redmi 5a ;? it has a lot of custom roms, and as far as i know phone runs smooth on miui, compared my sony xa with xiaomi redmi 4x, sony xa price is 2x times and the quality is 2x lower... will have a look ant nova tho

U should consider xiaomi redmi 4x, the phone is cheaper than xa (in my country), the battery life and the devs community on this phone is wayyyy bigger than xa too. In this price point Xiaomi always the best choice

Hah i bought a bit used sony x compact for 150eur gonna try that for now. Im going to pick it up tomorrow hope it will fit well my needs and i saw some custom roms available for it. Cantwait haha:angel: what do you think about it?
