Searching for an answer for one week now :crying:
EDIT : But I guess your phone is a H955 version, so it could be pretty simple :
1) Download your .KDZ here
2) Re-flash properly using this thread
3) Do the update via OTA now that your phone is clean
4) Enjoy your new "no-lag-g-flex-2"
PS : It will erase all your data so make some backups
PS 2 : Root is (for now) not available on the lg g flex 2 in 5.1.1

Is this 5.1.1 update, because i am not sure, there is nothing in description about 5.1.1?

It is, just updated. Telenor Serbia

[Q] Can't update to Android 5.0 Lollipop, the update isn't showing up anymore.

Hello,
I own a Nexus 5 and it has not been Rooted or Unlocked (bootloader) but now when I check for the official Lollipop 5.0 OTA update it doesn't show up. The notification was there for about a month but i didn't wanted to download to avoid early bugs. Now when i check it doesn't show any update ? stuck on 4.4.4 for now. Is the roll out on Hold ? Can anyone help me out here.

Wait or flash it by yourself.
Looking for the Official Update via OTA. Flashing will require me to Unlock the Bootloader and loose all data

I know. But nobody can tell you for how much time you will have to look for OTA. I also read somewhere, that all units probably wouldn't get 5.0.1 and will go straight to 5.1.
So it's your choose. It's not such a big deal to copy data to PC and vice versa.
Regards, Zagor
Thanks Pal, I shall then wait for Android 5.1 As KitKat 4.4.4 is stable enough to use.

Flashing an OTA manually doesn't require unlocking of bootloader or losing data. Follow Section A from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/info-nexus-5-ota-help-desk-t2523217 - you just need the zipped update and ADB on your PC.
This zip will go from KTU84P to LRX21O (aka 5.0): http://android.clients.google.com/p...ed-hammerhead-LRX21O-from-KTU84P.c1a33561.zip
You could then see if you get prompted to update to 5.0.1. If not, then flash this to go from LRX21O to LRX22C: http://android.clients.google.com/p...ed-hammerhead-LRX22C-from-LRX21O.785a2f7a.zip
It's interesting that you're not being given that option in 4.4.4 though... have Google stopped pushing the Lollipop updates altogether?

One thing i noted is that phone is much more snappy afterward. maybe it's because of the cache rebuild that every build do or maybe there is some secret ingredient added in this update.
Very surprised to see another update from AT&T for the G2. I wonder if there's any chance of seeing 5.1.1 or 6.0.

You can't update with root, at least I haven't been able to.
When updating it will just kick you back to the home screen with a message telling you, you're suspected of rooting and updates are not supported for rooted devices.
I also tried the method discribed in http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-g2/general/links-manually-forcing-ota-20c-to-20u-t2828874 to force an update but I was unable to succeed
I'm waiting for dlpkgfile to update
How does one make this file root friendly? Wouldn't mind taking the time to do this.

i think thats the answer for no 5.1.1 i dont see why leave g2 at lollipop if its has bugs.. since they fix the stagefright on 5.1.1. so we need it 5.1.1 to get rid of this bug but aparently with this update theres no need to update to 5.1.1 but does this still have the memory leak bug?

The last command appears to force a package on the phone to start the update process without (or possibly after) a check for root, however when I run the command the nothing appears to happen making me think that the original Lollipop update(30f) either nerfed the command to prevent this kind of thing from happening, or they replaced the package with a new one for the 5.x iterations of Android. so it is a matter of waiting for people smarter than me to find out how to force the updates in the Lollipop update
TL;DR: yup I agree with you
Is there no way to unroot, install this update and then root again?

As far as I know you can't unroot a device. The way I'm doing it is reinstalling the original KK, then going trough the process of updating till the lastest update then rooting again.
I do hope someone could come up with way to install the latest update on rooted.
That did come to my mind but I felt it's just too much of a pain going that far back for a patch!

Just download the file for which model u have and install with system recovery
Agreed. But its suggested to update to B130 first as this is stated in huawei official manual on the build number upgradable.
i m B128 user also. I have been gathering lots of info from different version users to make sure the upgrade is perfect. I've read that some users upgrade directly from B128 to B324 which then turn into nightmare and forced to return to kitkat to re-upgrade again by correct sequence. Now that i have upgraded to 5.1.1 following the correct sequence without having any issue and it works like charm!!
So the correct sequence is B128>>B130>>B324. Use the link given by our friend above to download all the files u need

Marshmallow for European DualSim Version rolling out

Morning,
my dual sim Version is now reciving the Marshmallow update. The update Text was in france.
Greetings from Munich...
Nothing on my single sim in Poland.
UK Status
Nothing in the UK yet.....
Received it yesterday in France but can't flash on my dual-sim yet because I have TWRP
Here is the name of the file now located in /cache : Blur_Version.23.21.10.lux_retasia_ds.retasiaall.en.03.zip (maybe it can help on something)

Can you share the zip then we can test
Size is about 580Mo and I clearly don't have the internet speed to upload it under 3 hours if I don't do anything else on the web (impossible today because of family) but maybe monday because everyone will be at school
I'm currently uploading it (Blur_Version.23.21.10.lux_retasia_ds.retasiaall.en.03.zip - ~600MB).
It will be available in 1 hour, maybe 2h.
Thx dude
For me the OTA didn't work, I've flashed a stock recovery and use the update menu to flash it but It gives me an error when the stock recovery flashed the ota.
So I will wait for an XDA zip version now ^^
I think i will wait for more feature comple CM13 rom ^^
here is the link:

I'm not sure this is related to the recovery but rather with the root. When I look at the logs (/cache/recovery/last_log), I see this many errors the the log ends like this :

I updated my phone with the file I uploaded earlier.
First I flashed the device with the unrooted original french 5.1.1 rom.

Same here. My dual sim MXP is receiving android 6.0.0 now. For me too the update text was in French.

Actually, I think that this mention of "Asia" was already there in 5.1
Hi guys, I also got a notification in French about upgrading to 6.0 but I have unlocked bootloader and I'm rooted so I can't proceed any further.
I think the best would be a clean installation to 6.0 but I don't know how to do this. Does anybody know if there is a guide for such a thing?
I'm attaching my current version.

Unlocked bootloader isn't an issue. You just have to unroot. To do so, just go to the Super SU app, in parameter, there is an unroot option. You don't even need to reboot to make it complete. You can just let the upgrade install.
I would recommend not to root immediatly after that because this is were it started to be painful for me (it seems chainfire hasn't released a perfectly working SuperSU for Marshmallow yet)

G710EM
European model.
at least we get updates

All European models (G710EM) should be updated to December update? Mine is on November update V10p-222-01 and no updates appears with OTA neither LG Bridge. Should I be worried? Maybe is better to install other ROM?

yep received it too in Germany.
I removed root via magisk app, after that i got a "no command" boot loop. (thought my unpatched image was gone, found it later (nooooo).
if anyone faces this problem, just hit the power button fast and several times, phone shuts down, push and hold volume up until u see download mode.
now obtain your kdz file i used the new full rom.
my version before flash v10p, after flash v10q.
important is to select upgrade @Lgflash, to keep your stuff.
phone reboots and upgrade will be done after boot!
Actually I put a warning in the Magisk tred about that.
U can't uninstall root with magisk.. It will always do that. U have to manually flash unpached

If you do not receive ota it mean you flashed other region to you original firmware. You can update with LG UP as long you update with the same region (german for you). Any other region would wipe all data like factory reset.

I did this procedure with version 10p and also version 10q after that. I stopped receiving OTA and LG Bridge updates (Bridge tries to download them but fails to actually install them), so now I just update via LGUP whenever there is a new patch. All my data/apps are fine, no need to restore from backups. My guess is that since my phone was originally branded, my imei is still tied to that, so now I can't use automatic updates any more. Not a huge problem, the LGUP procedure is easy and fast.
