Hi folks,
I was wondering if anyone knows a way to change the duration of the vibration that notifies the user of bluetooth disconnection. I often forget my phone (I'm getting old), and sometimes don't feel the brief vibration.
Anyone?

Whenever my phone is set to vibrate i find that if i receive a text message it will only vibrate like 3 times (in a pulsing way, one after another) then stops and if i have the ringer on it vibrates one time for like 5 secs....is there any way to increase the vibrating time, such as to have it vibrate like until i open or dismiss it?? also the speaker volume is very low even when i try to answer a phone call its so low that i can barely hear the person on the phone although the volumes all the way up.....any help is appreciated and thanks in advanced
Does anyone know how to make the SMS single vibrate notification *shorter* (e.g. same length as the phone connection notification)
I also am intersted in figuring out how to do so. Please help.
Hello, i have a little problem, when I had my old phone HTC Artemis (P3300) I had it mute and set only on vibration. When i had my phone in pocket I felt it everytime when i had incoming phone call or sms. Now with my Leo, whe i set my phone to vibration only mode I often didn't recognize if someone really calling. Don't feel anything... Is it possible that Leo has lower vibration than my old Artemis?
If yes, is any way how to make it vibrate more?
ThX
set it to vibrate not silent and see if it helps
dunno about vibrating more or something. not sure if it is posible... all I know is there is an app i had see in opnmarket that changes the vibration pattern. see if that helps too
cheers
Do you have a rubber case on? I also had this issue and when I removed the rubber case the vibration was stronger.
I want to stop the screen from switching on after ending a "bluetooth call".
Issue:
Phone (ICS) is connected via bluetooth (or wired headset).
I answer call
Once I end the call, the screen switches on while the phone is pocketed.
I want to prevent the screen from switching on in order to prevent accidental swipes, etc.
Is there a way to accomplish this?
I seriously tried everything, but I can't change the vibration length for notifications. The result is that for EVERY Email, SMS, Facebook message, you name it, I get a 3 second long vibration that is driving me nuts.
No matter what I do, the vibration length stays the same. I can set the intensity to lower, but the length stays the same. I defined my own vibration pattern as well, but that only works for calls, it does not work for everything else (=notifications). WHY is it so difficult to just set the vibration length to 0.5 seconds? This is the worst phone I have ever owned, honestly
Go setting ...under sound and notifications...there should be vibration intensity. If u hate vibration...personally just turn it off....i did mine..and save battery too.

Like I said, I don't want to change how strong the vibration is, I want to change how LONG it vibrates. Right now it vibrates for 3 full seconds for every goddamn notification. This is the worst and most annoying thing I have EVER experienced with a phone.
I need vibration in general so I notice when I get a new message etc. but I don't need my phone to vibrate 3 FULL seconds for every single text message, hangouts message, facebook comment etc. If I get several of these at once (e.g. 3 text messages in a row), then my phone keeps vibrating for 9 seconds!
So is this not possible at all, or am I having some weird bug? I can't believe anyone would use this phone like this, it literally vibrates for 3 full seconds for every stupid notification (like the 'basic call' notification setting, but it stays on that pattern even after I change it to 'knock knock' for example)
Hi @all,
long ago in times where Nokia was the leading company which sold the most phones their phones had a setting for a single tone notification for an incoming call. My latest phone (ulefone metal with Android N) has a weak vibration, so i'm missing calls from time to time. But i don't want to have a long running, loud ringtone, because when i'm not at my desk, but my phone is still there, i don't want that my colleagues will be disturbed by a ringtone which runs a minute or so.
I found an audiofile with a single beep, which i can use as ringtone, but this beep will always repeated as long as the caller doesn't give up. This is even more annoying than a standard ringtone. So now my question is: How can i set up the phone that this audiofile is played only once and not repeatedly? This works for notifications, but not for calls. I'm searching for such a functionality in modern phones all the time since the Nokia-times, but didn't find it. Anybody out there knows such a setting for android phones?
As a workaround i could create an audiofile with a single beep and 5 minutes of silence, but this is stupid
Thanks, jennix
