I seen an old thread that people were asking why smart manager wasn't working for ATT. Well now that we have root for it, how do we enable the carrier disabled app?
Anyone? I really want to make use of smart manager.

Hi! Sorry if this is in the wrong forum - I'm kinda new here. I was hoping to get JoyCon Droid working on my OnePlus 6 when I learned that unfortunately the required HID Bluetooth functionality is disabled in OxygenOS for whatever reason. I've done some research and people have been able to enable HID Bluetooth when rooted by changing a setting in /res/values/config.xml and enabling the service with adb.
I would rather not root my phone as I need it to be able to pass SafetyNet to use certain apps. I've read that it's possible to modify system files without root by using adb from a pc. I would attempt this but I'm afraid it might trigger SafetyNet. I'm not entirely sure how their checks work though. Thoughts?
I got Techno Spark 6 air (TECHNO KE6) with android go edition. recently I bought a smart band. When I try to enable notification access on my phone so that I read notifications on my band. It says "this feature is not available on this device". And also I am not able to connect my phone to my PC. You know how distracting to use a phone all the time.
So my question is, is there any way to switch android go to Android one edition? If it is possible then how? If it is not possible then how can I enable this feature?
Look I don't have enough money to buy another phone right now. Please try to suggest a way.
Check if the band is compatible with Bluetooth 5.0. Not every phone with Bluetooth 5.0 is compatible with devices with earlier versions of BT and their sub-protocols.
Dear all, I am writing here because I have a very specific issue and I need to deal with it myself.
I have Xiaomi Poco x3 nfc, and I love this phone to bits. I never bothered rooting or flashing any roms so far because I was always happy with stock. Recently however, an issue has popped up.
Grindr, an app I use regularly, has recently pushed an update down our throats that cuts off your access if you are spoofing your location. This is a hazard for me, because I cannot have strangers know exactly how many meters I am from them. So far, I've been able to use mock gps fine, until this update. Mock GPS works even if your phone is not rooted so I used that. However, it no longer serves me now
How can I workaround this? Would root/installing a custom ROM, help with this? Is there a superior way of spoofing your location that Grindr wouldn't be able to detect? Please advise, I literally have no clue how to do this, the last phone I rooted and flashed was the Galaxy S lol. (Original one)
Appreciate the views but a response would be helpful. I can't be the only person on this forum interested in spoofing location

The app is detecting that you are spoofing the location. To bypass that in unrooted device, you will need to decompile the apk and remove the checks which do that. If you are in rooted device with Magisk, you only need to install this LSPosed module: https://github.com/ThePieMonster/HideMockLocation
If you can't find a modded apk or made one yourself, you will need to root the phone
Ok thx for the help. Will Grindr detect magisk?
Or maybe are you able to provide me with a modded Grindr apk?
Lastly. I'm in stock. Never rooted or unlocked anything. How do I get started?
I installed ADB AppControl and removed some bloatware. Apparently something wasn't as bloatware as I was expecting and I lost my wifi calling on AT&T. I wanted to know if anyone knew of the files related to that functionality?
I know I should ask in that ADB AppControl thread(and did), but I'm not sure how responsive of a thread it is(doesn't seem to be very so far).
If anyone happens to know, I'd appreciate the help, thanks so much!
Just go to the disabled list in adbappcontrol and enable everything
Did you disable IMS settings?
I was able to figure it out. It was a combination of the overlay app and one other "sec" app. Thank you
