Battery case - Galaxy S6 Accessories

Anyone have any recommendation for a battery case. There's a few available on amazon but not too many reviews. Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks

I have a Mophie battery case. I know someone had signal issues with the case but so far i haven't experience any issues. My co worker has the Powersuit for the s6 from amazon. Looks and feels pretty good.

The Mophie looks good. But I found a better solution IMO. The case is expensive but it’s far better locking. It’s thin and adds a lot more functionalities than just power. I am seriously thinking about getting one. Check it out here https://www.i-blades.com/samsung-phone-cases/leather-phone-case-samsung-s6-case-battery-life/

[Q] otter box vs dcmugen

hey guys i an currently looking for a good case for my desire z and was wondeirng which one everyone thought was better between the otterbox for g2 or the TPU from DCMugen.
For the TPU i hear some complaints such as the half for the top screen not fitting properly and for the otterbox that it is much bulkier and slippery. Are these issues really that bad or are they blown out of proportion (someone said the otterbox feels like its been greased up, hoping this is exaggerated).
What i really want is to know what everyone thinks i should get and why. If you have both of these products can you tell me which one you prefer and why you like it over the other one.
Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
The otterbox, for sure. Its made so much better than the mugen and despite it being slippery everything else is great. When you buy an otterbox you have to expect its going to add bulk. If you don't want bulk, do not buy it.
The mugen cases for me are annoying. It doesn't always fit right, and and though it looks lean and small, the external buttons are veeeeery difficult to push and is frustrating. I've owned both, and the otterbox is the way to go.

the otterbox would be better than the mugen, but my one and only gripe about it is that the "teeth" that holds the case unto the phone breaks extremely easily so take absolute care when you open it or you'll break the teeth.
Does anyone already have bought the otterbox case ?
using one right now...
using one as well, my only problem with it is it's so hard to remove when you need to take out the batt or sdcard.
as for the slippery issues people are getting, fixed mine by sticking a few non-slip stickers on the case.
I've got the dcmugen and love it-- the power button can be a little hard to hit, but it's a whole lot easier than hitting the power button on my Nokia (that also had a dcmugen on it). No problems at all with the fit, it went on easily and has stayed in place for over a month now.
i am just wondering would the otterbox be a better buy then http://phantomskinz.com/htcdesirezchromatics.aspx this phantom chromatic cover.
only reason i am asking is this looks like it has grip so less change to drop it so i don't think you would need that much prtection that the otter provides. Or would you still recommend the otter?

Video Review: Otterbox Commuter for HTC One X

Hey guys,
I got my hands on the Commuter series case from Otterbox, for the One X. I'm sure most of you have seen or own a variant of this case. It is a very popular style, composed of two parts, a plastic shell that wraps around a TPU membrane. This model fits particularly well, but not too tight, which I love. It offers fantastic protection, although it is a bit pricey.

Awesome. Thank you for sharing!
Nice review! So far I like the case. Only complain is what was mentioned in the review, power button is a little hard to press. Other than that, the phone is very well protected!

I love otterbox cases other than the fact that they don't work with docks. Htc implemented the dock connector dots on the lower right region of the back so that is obviously covered and usually the port covers prevent the phone from being used with Mic USB docks as well.
Thanks for the review.

I just picked it up today just to have a case for when I'm at work and I must say... I hate it. It is a pain in the ass to put on and take off and it adds too much bulk to such a sleek phone. It's also pretty ugly by my standards. It will do for now but I hope something better comes along.
Also to the OP- the inner part is most definitely not TPU. It's silicone.
Good review, could you do a video review on the HTC ONE X DEFENDER SERIES CASE? im really thinking about getting it but i dont know if it just going to look to big. Also by us using these cases... will it make your phone over heat and drain the battery faster?
Thanks

Thank you!
Sorry to say, but I no longer have the One X. My uncle who lives abroad wanted it, so I bought it for him and used it for a couple of weeks before sending it to him. For that reason I won't be able to review the Defender series case.
I do have 1 last final review coming up which I hope will help.
With regards to your final question, I didn't notice any issues with battery drain to be honest with you. It will run hotter since the heat cannot dissipate as evenly, but I don't think it is too serious.
Nice review, I might pick this up.
i have this case too. while it does add a lot of bulk, it is worth it for the protection

Extended battery case??

I know the market is quite small, but does anyone make a case that will accept the extra bump created by the extended battery? Even a simple silicone bumper would be good, I just want to reduce to slippery feel a bit.

I just got one of these and it seems to work fairly well. Not a fan of the exposed edges, but it does cover the corners and adds a minimal amount depth to the phone while adding just a bit more length. Still undecided, but the extra "battery" is sure nice. I'm coming from an iPhone4 with a mophie case and was extremely spoiled on battery life.
Unable to post links just yet. So google the Helios: Slim Backup Battery Power Case for Samsung Galaxy S3 at Wireless Emporium.com

Some leads from this established thread

http://www.amazon.com/Hyperion-Extended-HoneyComb-Packaging-Compatible/dp/B008MMZUZS/ref=pd_cp_cps_0 found that thanks to searching for terms discussed in the tread linked above.
Thanks for the find Solar, I just ordered one. I have the 4500mAh extended battery from WE, and it's a bit slippery. I have the TPU bumper frames on order too, although those are made for the regular battery backs I thought I would cut them down a bit to fit, but the Hyperion Extended looks like a better solution.
I have the Hyperion extended case to go with my big Hyperion battery.
It works very well and is nowhere near as slippery as the stock Hyperion back.

Is this a silicone type bumper or is is hard plastic? I was thinking about just using Plasti-Dip and being done with it.
cool
but never head of it

[Q] Galaxy S4 extended battery

Hello, I have a Galaxy S4 and was thinking of buying an extended battery. I use my phone a lot and it normally doesn't last all the way through the day for me. I also go on trips a lot where an extended battery would really help. I'm thinking of buying either a Hyperion or a Zerolemon 7500mah battery, although a 5200mah one isn't out of the question. I heard that the very big batteries cover the antennae and speaker, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. What kind of battery should I get? Any help is appreciated.
I went with the Hyperion extended battery on Amazon and I bought the black TPU case. The phone still fits in my belt cases too. Some of my belt cases allow me to fit the phone with the Hyperion TPU case on as well. My speaker and antenna are good as well. I didn't GI with the ZeroLemon because I thought it was just a little bit too big and I wouldn't have been able to fit it in my leather belt cases (black and brown) that I use 80% of the time.

I use the trident electra Case that has a built in 2600mah battery to add to your standard battery when you need it. Gives you effectively 5200mah with a nice case as well.

Hi,
I have the Hyperion 5200 with the Seido extended case.
I think it's the perfect setup. Great battery life(normal 2 1/2 days use).
The Seido case is also nice, with kickstand. Not too heavy.

Case with good grip?

I have my s5 for a week now and although i do like to keep it without a case, it doesn't offer as much as protection but also i have been noticing that it is a bit slippery.
What are your recommendations for a case with a good grip? I was looking into getting something that wouldn't change the look of the phone much, but those slim cases that i have seen still seem slippery.
I was looking at the speck candyshell grip and although i didn't really love it at first, it seems like it would have a good grip. However, its very expensive and with shipping costs a bit over 40$ =/ So if you guys know a good and not so expensive case, i would appreciate the suggestions!
the zerolemon 8500mah rugged battery case it pretty good, and if you dont want a big bulky extended battery, otterbox is also a good brand to look at.
Thanks for the recommendations. I dont need the extended battery, but i will check otterbox as i have read good things about their "life proof" cases (though thats not the kind of case im looking for).
ZeroLemon zeroshock or razor armor
Laza x-armor
I just got myself their new X-Armor case. Great grip, study build and it doesn't look like anything else on the market which I love! The case is raised on both the front and the back so it keeps your phone scratch free and the case itself. Great look for the price.
Who makes the x armor?

Try the speck candyshell grip case. It has good grip and not too bulky

I can vouch for good grip on the speck, as well as body glove, and pretty good grip on uag.
Check out urbanarmourgear
Thank you all for the suggestions. I was going to go for the uag one but the price went higher and so I went with the candyshell grip, which was one the ones I liked also and I'm glad to see others are recommending it,so hopefully I made a good choice.
I will leave feedback of it once it arrives =)
Laza wireless
Its a company called Laza. I found their case on amazon(amazon.com/laza) and then visited their site.

Haha that case looks beast! Love the use of polygon shapes on it. Looks like something batman would have!
So, my speck candyshell grip arrives and...its awesome! it gives good grip, it looks nice(at least i like it) and it seems to have good build quality and materials. They could included a screen protector with the case considering the price and it would have been helpful whole my glass one doesnt arrive. Other than that, i recommend it.
One thing if you plan on getting this, monitor the price and of its not urgent maybe wait a bit. Use the website camelcamel to monitor the price. I got this for 20$ and i checked a few days ago and it was at 30$, so price can change like that.
Happy new years to you all!
Magpul is pretty good
Hi,
I use a TPU-Case from Art-Wizz,im very satisfiesd with that case
Spigen Tough Armor Case is pretty decent. Its quite hard and looks great too.
