Hello there, I have an issue with my Wi-Fi only note pro 12.2
I'm unable to download anything from the browser, take pictures or take screenshots.
My tablet is rooted but does have a custom ROM or custom Kernel, only a custom recovery.
How can this be fixed?

Nvm, I fixed it, Ineeded to flash a custom kernel.

Hi to everyone. Today I had to flash another kernel on cm10.1.3 because the one I was previously using caused a lot of problems on asphalt 8. So, I flashed version 2.1.6 of Next kernel by black hawk. On cm11 I know you had to flash the proprietary-vendor zip file for camera to work, but when I did that, I got a message saying I would lose root. This was confirmed by the fact that titanium backup could not get such permission. How can I get the camera working again? This is a great, smooth kernel that I don't want to lose.
Anyone?
Please guys, I'd really like to know how to fix this
Hey Im Sixthg but call me six. I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (GT-p3113) and flashed my recovery with CWM 6.0.3.7. I have a stock gaming rom and my Original rom backed up. Would it be possible for someone to Customize my rom and change the User Interface? If so, are you willing to do it for free?
Also I would like to keep my downloaded apps when I install custom roms....how would i do that?

Hey there,
I,m new too but i'm not devs here, i'm a noob user so probably i'm not going to help much. If I'm explaining something that you are already know, I apologise.
Yet from my little experience, i did flash the latest recovery CWM 6.0.5.1 (i suggest you try it to flash the latest version available too) and using CM 12 build 20140215 unofficial lollipop version on my P3100. All of them you can found on thread by Android-Andi. Just make sure you download and flash the correct version for your P3113 / probably same as P3110 (*I use P3100).
I can't paste his link of work as its on his signature. BUT, you can found it on "Galaxy Tab 2 7" Android Development". On his androidfilehost you may find all the necessary files such as latest rom (twrp, cwm, omni, etc) and customize rom for kitkat or lollipop. He also made slim version for both of it. He also help how to do it. But be aware to backup everything first as usual. as what I did was a clean install thus it may not bring back any bugs with it. So it means download all the apps manually. But if you connect the game with google play your data will stay the same (I guess).
Just my 5cents. Sorry if it doesnt help much or didn't answer your questions. Hope someone could explain it better
Best of luck.
No with clockworkmod recovery it is best to have the one Rom manager recommends for a device. And seeing as no roms have been made for p3113 or p3110 I flashed it with the p3100 recovery. The one it downloaded and flashed is 6.0.2.7 because that recovery is meant for p3100. Nightlies I found out are full builds and with the app link2sd you can convert apps to system apps so you do not loss them when flashing a new rom. So thats what I did with my downloaded apps. Now as I have aslo backed up everything. I need to download a working nightly.
Also I would like to know if I could somehow take away the samsung dependency? They have too many apps that are key to my system's functionality.
Just saw this:
http://phandroid.com/2015/05/18/note-pro-12-2-lollipop/
I was planning on giving it a try. I don't have any files I need to save on the tablet.
I rooted the tablet recently and am running a rooted stock 4.4.2 ROM. I have titanium backup on there with a lot of stuff frozen, and xposed frame work.
I realizing flashing this lollipop ROM will unroot my tablet, but I'm wondering if I should do some kind of full wipe/dalvik clearing etc? Is there any other steps I need to take before installing a non rooted ROM on an already-rooted device?
I'm running the stock recovery at this time (but could flash something else if recommended.)
i checked out the link. it seems like the update is only for the LTE version (p905), unless im seeing it incorrectly, i wouldnt mind losing root whilst trying the new update
crap... you're right, the article itself refers to the "wifi only" version multiple times, but then the file is for the LTE... what a bummer. Erroneous article. Thanks for pointing it out before I flashed it.
Good catch !
Good catch there, I must admit I got quite excited seeing that lollipop was ready for the Note Pro 12.2!!!. I too have the WiFi version of the NotePRO 12.2'' P-900, and am chomping at the bit for Lollipop, more-so than for my main use phone (Note 3 SM-N9005).
I'm still on the stock firmware, enjoying the tablet as-is, but struggling to find many Apps where the UI has been crafted / coded / mod'd / re-written etc, with a tablet in mind!!
I've been patient to-date re: Lollpop, but will subscribe to this forum thread in case of news . Are there other sources I can / should be subscribed to, that you would suggest? .
Thank you, and cheers... :silly:

Just keep an eye on Sammobile. They're the ones with the firmware and the news. (The original article is from Sammobile.)

Could you help me out? I have a Note 12.2 that I tried to root when I first got it a year ago. It tripped Knox but still did not get root. I would love to get to where you're at: KK 4.4.2 with TiBu, xposed, etc. Can you point me to some instructions that work?

Sorry for the late reply! If I remember correctly, I used the "near stock untouched" version found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...t/rom-original-stock-debloated-stock-t2860069
But I forget! I do know that I have the stock recovery. I rooted/Flashed ROM with ODIN. But didn't install custom Recovery.
I successfully managed to root my pro 12.2 with Lollypop 5.2 and everything was working like clockwork, but like an fool I had to mess. I tried to root my system again and that's when things went pear shaped. So I installed the stock rom again. It works fine again, but when I try to get TWRP to work. Nothing It doesn't ask for permission Nothing. I need help so I can put lollypop back on.
Thanks in advance

Hmm... I'd try re-rooting again (after you installed Stock) and flashing TWRP for starters.

Hi and thanks for your reply.
I have done what you suggested and then downloaded Flashify. I managed to flash TWRP though Flashify and it booted into TWRP. When I tried to load Lollypop it failed. It has trouble flashing the zip CM

I could use more information. What is your exact model of tablet (which 900, 905, and so on)? Ah, took a look again at your first post and see it is a 900. Okay... What rom are you trying to flash? I haven't heard of flashify. I used good ol' odin to root and flash twrp, this after I installed the stock rom direct from Samsung (which made that part easier, of course). If you want a different rom, twrp will fix you right up. If you want twrp just for backing up, it works great. But yes, more info on your hardware and exact files you're tryihng to install....

trying to help a friend who purchased a 7inch tab 2 on the cheap.
it seems to have a custom build on it and the keyboard doesn't work, whats the best way to get it back to factory settings?
Cheers

If you have a custom recovery i would use a stock based rom, e.g. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2225784

Can you recommend a stock based rom to the 3g p3100 version or a custom ROM? I try many roms but I have the same problem sometimes random restarts, lag in basic things like watching videos and opening the pic gallery it happen when open the settings too, I tryed now the Resurrection Remix latest security patch and cant watch videos looks a problem in codecs or something, to work I need reboot but the videos runs so slow and browsing too its impossible (Not using chrome or another browser downloaded from playstore, thank you.
All flash that I do is FULL WIPE System, Data and Storage 100% clean.
Don't expect to much. It's an old tablet.
Make a backup of your ROM and maybe check some 4.4 or 6.0 ROMs. If you're still not happy, go back to stock or it's time for a new Tablet.
