Dark hboot for M8vzw - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Is there a dark Hboot that has been edited to work with the latest firmware from Verizon?

Do you actually mean the hboot or do you mean splash screen? I've never heard of a themed hboot beyond the modified hboot which spoofs s-on.
I have an inverted splash screen which says "htc quietly rooted" that I modified from someone's old post to include the lollipop mainver that I could share if you want.

Im looking for this for verizon

1.14.0004 give or take a zero and now I see it on the previous page not flash-able....
EDIT
fixed it using the super cid thread from HOX http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26516911#post26516911 to make sure imei was actually OK and correct and then I re-flashed Radio from Stock T-Mobile US 0.16.31501S.02_10.18.31501S.08L and re-flashing cm10 without a wipe or anything.

Its my understanding that the CM roms come with a radio in a different partition, you might find that going to a sense based rom you won't have the radio working properly.
HBOOT Versions 1.13+ can't flash to the radio partition on sense based roms. So to flash the radio on a sense rom you will have to downgrade your HBoot, theres a sticky tutorial on how to do this.

[Q] Does anyone have the black T-Mobile One S? What's the hboot version?

So I was considering selling my Silver/Blue gradient T-Mobile One S to purchase a Black T-Mobile MOA One S and I got to thinking...
Does anyone have this new official T-Mobile Black One S? Not a modified gradient version or an International version being used on T-Mobile.
I'm curious.. What is the hboot version on this new T-Mobile MOA Black One S? I currently have the 1.09 hboot on my gradient blue and I can flash radio/boot from recovery.
I'm assuming this new version of the One S is going to have the 1.14 or higher hboot but I'd still like to find out from someone who actually has the device.
Bump.. nobody knows?
I have the new black one s. Don't know the hboot, but I'm stock unrooted so whatever the hboot for any s4 will be the same out the box

Yeah I'm not usually afraid to try new complicated things with my phones but that guide just seems time consuming and incredibly risky if anything goes wrong.

I'm with you on that and well too be honest even on hboot .14 I don't miss it being lower, thanks to programs like Flash Image Gui flashing kernels and recoveries besides not downgrading radio I'm really not missing out on much. People seem to get stuck up on this for some bizarre reason.

S-Off and 1.14

Will soff enable to either downgrade hboot easier now or prevent the hassle of flashing boot.img first?

Actually, as IT mentioned, I think I'm wrong about flashing. I believe s-off removes all flashing restrictions. Downgrading is no longer necessary.
It's the fun stuff that will take some time.

What can we expect now that we have s-off? Or rather, what would YOU like to see. I'm curious what the typical One X user wish list would be?
Also, I saw you post in the boot animations thread. Did you get it to work? Which animation did you pick?
i still haven't ran the s-off exploit yet. i also slept over 30 hours and missed the release. i was going to wait to run it until some hacks came out that use s-off but i guess not having to fastboot boot.img is good enough. ill run it in abit seems super easy, looks like basically a hacked up ruu =) i guess that is why it is called facepalm.
I see the ruu contains a radio does it cause any problems with at&t?

Interesting. S-Off means the radio is fully flashable (even for those on hboot 1.14). So I would think you can just flash another radio, if there are any issues.

The ruu doesn't actually install. It would need to run that a few times to fully install it. Basically we are telling the phone we are going to RUU, which in HTC's stupidity, unlocks the emmc partitions to be writable. Then the RUU fails when it finds superCID. So we cancel out of the ruu status, but the emmc partitions are still unlocked, and we turn the security flash off with soffbin3. And ya, that's why it's called facepalm

im running the 1.85 now for the heck of it. i found that fastboot oem lock works differently then i remember it, you issue the command and it goes to a black screen. just make sure you go back into fastboot before running the ruu.

I'm running hboot 1.14 and can confirm that I've flashed CM10.1 (and restored a nandroid including the boot partition) without needing to fastboot flash the boot.img.
Seems like those running 1.14 are pretty rare around these parts...or maybe just quiet.
Edit: Restore was to AOSPA 2.54 (JB 4.1.2).

[Firmware] 3.18.709.2 red-warning removed plus TRWP

For those of you who want to try the new 3.18.709.2 firmware.
Here is a custom package I made, containing all the 3.18.709.2 files but recovery
is changed for TRWP recovery 2.6.3.0
Also the RED WARNING from the Hboot is removed!
I am running this firmware at the moment, and everything is fine!
Check screenshot for information of the new Radio, enjoy!
Warning:
The boot.img from 3.18.709.2 doesn't like the 3.17 ROM's at the moment, so Camera won't work!
You can fix it by flashing Elemental or Bulletproof or the stock boot.img from 3.17.
If you flashed the firmware package first and after that you flashed a 3.17 ROM you won't have this problem
removed

That's a general issue with custom hboot, discussed already here.
BTW, if you got S-Off with revone you should update to v0.2.1 that prevents exactly this:
UPDATED revone binary (v0.2.1)
* Safety update: No longer allows -s 3 since this can lead to bricks with custom HBOOTs, use: fastboot oem writesecureflag 3 (which is safer - and checks such things)
* Fix: delusions of grandeur - revone now no longer reports success when it fails.
* Outside chance some previous failures will now be successful but most likely they will just correctly report failure.
Please note that due to the safety update ALL previous versions have been replaced with v0.2.1 and are hence no longer supported.
