[Q] Using Bluetooth in Recovery - Android Stick & Console Computers General

Hey all,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting my question so if the mods could move me accordingly that would be great. Anyways, my question is does anybody know if there is a way to enable bluetooth devices while in recovery? I'm developing for the Xiaomi MiBox Mini and there are 0 usb ports so not only can I not connect a USB controller like a keyboard or mouse, but I cannot connect to a PC either. If anyone has any experience with this all help is appreciated.

The recovery would have to support bluetooth and have it auto enabled.
There is very little about your device on XDA.
I will request that this thread be moved to Android Stick Computers, where there are similar devices.

There is very little about it anywhere, but I feel that with a bit of development there could be a lot of potential with this little cube. I feel that the android stick forum would also be more appropriate. Also in regards to your first comment, is there anyway I could enable bluetooth on the stock recovery? I've managed to extract it but I'm unfamiliar with making individual modifications to it (eg. turning on services) or will I need to compile a third party recovery for my device such as TWRP to accomplish this. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Looking for App to connect external Garmin GPS to Android tablet

Hello,
I am looking for an Android app (and/or driver) that allows me to connect an external USB GPS (Garmin GPS Map60CS) to a standard 7" tablet (Android 2.1), which has USB host capabilities.
The purpose of this is to be able to upload/download tracks and waypoints to/from my GPS while travelling. This would be great because would enable me to travel without laptop but tablet !
As an example, there is a similar solution for Windows CE phones and serial GPS´s, which I have used many times: G7toWin
http://www.gpsinformation.org/ronh/g7towin.htm
Another solution would be to connect a USB-to-Serial dongle to the tablet, and (hopefully) this could be connected by RS232 to the Garamin GPS. But an app is needed anyway.
If someone can point a solution or suggestion, I would be very happy.
Thank you very much.
Sorry for opening an old thread, but did you find any solution?
ciao

Hi
I'm trying to get my GPSmap 62 work as a mass storage for my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using an OTG cable but that just doesn't seem to work. Did you do something special to get your Garmin and Android to do that? Such as rooting or using some special file manager app.

I'm pretty sure that my android (then) was rooted. I use "Total Commander" and in the options you need to let it have root function all around - but other apps like it will also work.
Haven't used it with my 'new' phone cause haven't had the time to play with it (even after 6 month :$)
Hello,
I thought people in this thread might like to know that I made an app that can transfer waypoints and tracks in both directions between an Android device and Garmin GPSMap 60Cs. I'm currently trying to find out if there are more people interested and if so then I'll add support for more Garmin GPS models and publish the app.

Wake up Android!

Hey guys,
due to thousands of post according to Wake up my PC I wasn´t able to find a possibly already existing posting to what I need.
I bought a Lenovo n308 Android Device and need to wake this up / start it remote because it shall be integrated in the kitchens´ wall .
Is there any chance / possibility to do a wake on lan (for example) on this device from my pc or another phone?
If my question is not clear enough let me know and I´ll try to explan it better
Thanks in advance
greets
Heba
BTW:
As this http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/wake-device-t2853187 was posted in the wrong section it can be deleted:
I've read somewhere that you can, but it's about your computer's LAN card, it needs to be compatible.
And if u need an app able to do that, Splashtop can help you and works well.
ok thanks - so i can boot my android device using the splashtop?

[Completed] Looking for the best way to transfer files from/to PC via Wi-Fi

Hello there.
Xperia M4 Aqua user here. My USB connection with PC is broken and im looking for alternative. ES File Explorer had a feature that lets you connect with your PC via Wi-Fi on a local FTP server (still not perfect, as it didnt let you preview media on FTP), but im done with ES since there is more junk than I can tolerate and after recent "sensitive notifications" in question, and im really only interested in a Wi-Fi connection. Note that im aware of PC Companion being able to connect via Wi-Fi, but it requires USB connection to setup it so its not an option for me anymore. I want to be able to transfer files from and to my PC, using phone.

Hello,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Try file sharing apps like Shareit. It has a desktop client too.

XDA Assist
Hey, thanks for the info. I just checked SHAREit (is this the one?) and i dont like it already. Connection with PC requires version 3.0 or above and they dont even link to it on their official website; maybe thats just the case for Windows 7 app though, i didnt check. Also, just like ES, it has way too many things i simply dont need. And there are reports of various problems with the app, such as slow transfers and other, shady things. So id rather skip that one, unless theres no better alternative. You said I should try other apps like this, any specific ones you could recommend? I need names because i bet theres loads of junk in app store and I dont really want to install random things, hence asking on XDA for recommendations.

Cello CT11632 Recovery Partition Needed

Hello,
To cut to the chase, I have a Cello CT11632 2 in 1 Windows 10 Tablet.
The idiot before me has deleted the complete recovery partition.. I’ve restored windows 10, found pretty much all the drivers apart from the damn touchscreen. Hardware ID following…
ACPI\VEN_MSSL&DEV_1680
ACPI\MSSL1680
*MSSL1680
I know what make etc the screen is, (kmdf hid minidriver for touch i2c device)
I have tried every single driver i can find for this touchscreen and nothing seems to work corrently.. Including having inverted touch (I touch in one place an it selects in a different area.)
Basiclly, i’m asking if anyone has a CT11632 that can either send me a copy of your recovery partition or possibly the complete driver pack.
Help me Obi-Wan, You’re my only hope!
Device drivers for Cello CT11632
I am having the same issue. The one I had was running Ubuntu but no WiFi / touch or audio
Managed to install Windows 10
Now I need drivers for
WiFi
Bluetooth
Touch
Which drivers you used for WiFi and Bluetooth ?
Try this..
Try this, it should provide all drivers apart from touchscreen. (It's the main problem I've had.)
Iobit Driver Booster.
You can pay for it or find a key online to allow actual updates.
I used this program and it found 98% of drivers.
Hope this helps.
