I've got the VERIZON GALAXY S3.
Problem is I don't want to pay that high bill with them.
I switched my number to pageplus and I have the MIN to program my phone.
How do I program the s3? Can't get it to connect to cdma ws.
Is it possible now? Thanks.
I was with pp before I switched to tmo for S3. Afaik, 4g phones are not allowed on pageplus. There's no way to activate it on their system.
You could try asking in Kitty forum for answers.

that isn't true, i flashed a droid razr to PP. No problems.

Beigephone.com, the leading flashing company in the US has not yet mastered the GS3. I need to do one but have found zero support for this. If someone with an S3 wants to partner with me to try this, I have CDMA WS and am ready to try. PM me with any info on S3 flashing. And if you HAVE to have a S3 on PagePlus, you should just try a Sprint version for now. This is a simple flash that can be provided by most prepaid stores (that have integrity as a prepaid store.) :cyclops:

wouldn't cdma ws work to flash the sgs3 same as a droid razr

None of that makes any sense, just be careful or be ready to send your phone in for repair when you break it.

I have been searching and trying to teach myself how to sim unlock. I downloaded spk and adb. Im teaching my self all the commands now. I found a guy on here that will sim unlock your phone for free... Stifilz was his name. I hookd my Note 5 to the computer and he did the rest. I will give it to him he knows what he is doing.
I would still like to know how to do it myself. I Figured out how to get the MSL code on my own. Now i need to learn the rest. I know he had me change my qualcomm to dm+adb+modem. After that I am at a lost. I am a newbe but have a ton of programming and computer knowledge. If you have any further steps to sim unlock. I would love to hear were you're at in the process.

Does anyone here have the HTC U11 AND is a T-Mobile customer??
If yes, can you please confirm whether or not the UNLOCKED U11 shows VoLTE as an option on T-Mobile's network? Or is it not enabled/showing?! Please only answer if you know for sure.
Thanks!

And just to reconfirm, you DO 1) Live in the U.S. and 2) Are using the U11 on T-Mobile's network? and 3) Is your phone unlocked?!! Please type the word "unlocked" in your reply so I know you saw this last minute addition.
Thanks.

Fruits99,
Thanks so much! Great to know HTC isn't cheaping out on their unlocked phones like most other makers do. lol :good:
BTW, T-mobile Visual Voicemail works great on unlocked U11 too. Even comes with free 30 days of voicemail to text service (automatically activated and automatically terminated at end of trial, no subscription required).

That's cool. Yeah I use that app as well, though didn't subscribe for vm to text. Much easier than calling to listen to your VMs.
Thanks again for all the info!!!!!!!!!!!
Very useful post. Thank you! Can I also put an additional AT&T SIM in this phone and use it as a dual-sim phone instead of using the MicroSD slot for extra storage? It's not clear to me in the specs if I can use two different Sims with two different carriers in this phone. It seems that that works in the international version, but I want to make sure it works in the US version as well. Thanks again for any assistance.

Hi root,
You're very welcome! Glad you found it helpful.
I have no clue. I would start a new thread and ask that question though. I still have my HTC 10. I decided not to upgrade to the U11, but wanted to know whether or not HTC was "cheaping out" on the U.S. or not. It was nice to find out they didn't. :good::victory:
Thank you. I'm following another post I found regarding the international model to see if I can get an answer there. Looking at this phone and theone plus 5 as possibilities.
Dual SIM, and t mobile WiFi calling are pretty important to me if I can get it.
Happy Independence day!

Ok sounds good.
Well I CAN tell you that when a manufacturer certifies their phones for VoLTE with T-Mobile, that certification also INCLUDES Wi-Fi Calling. This was the case with my UNLOCKED HTC 10, as you can see confirmed here.
So now it's just about finding out your SIM thing I guess. lol
Happy 4th to you as well!!

shubham,
Yeah I don't think it's available in all countries, unfortunately. If the phone works for you though, then that's really all that matters. VoLTE is just a bonus for the most part.

Interesting I am on cricket and I don't see these settings
I am on At&t and wanted to get Wifi calling on my International S7. I have been doing some researching and not finding anything about it. Does anyone have it working on At&t? When I click the Wifi Calling option on my phone it tries to enable then says to just try again later. So I am not sure if I am missing an app or too.
I do have the CSC for Att loaded also.

I don't quite understand your response... the Utility was made Exynos phones... So it will work, it just recommends to perform an EFS backup first.

I have flashed the AT&T CSC but it doesn't work still.
So it is either does the support it at all
Or AT&T does recognize my phone properly because when I log into the app it does the know what phone I have. I am wondering if it does the know the phone type then it won't let me use it.

For AT&T, Wi-Fi calling (and VOLTE) work a little different. You will need to call AT&T customer service and tell them you have an AT&T branded Android phone that has WiFi calling.
This will lead AT&T to add the ability to add Wi-Fi calling on your account. Most people I know that has this working has their AT&T account provisioned for a branded S7 snapdragon (G935A) rather than an international exynos S7 (G935F), which is done by reporting a G935A IMEI to AT&T (and not changing it on the device itself).

So maybe I am out of the loop, but where do you get an imei for a 935A exactly? I mean does Att not monitor it if they have 2 of the same imei's on their network at once?
Moderator edit Post removed
Has anyone had success with a Exynos and AT&T volte yet? I've been trying to figure this out for months. I've flashed CSC Selector to ATT, however when I tries to install the apps upon boot it freezes up and I need to disable the preconfig apk.
AT&T does have my line provisioned for volte as I gave them an IMEI for a g930a.
I've also enabled IMS and VOLTE options in the CSC file and I've turned on IMS Settings in the app. I can't get any IMS Profile to register.
I apologize if this was already made aware or confirmed but I can confirm that Google does allow the Pixel 3xl esim to be used by other carriers other than project fi. I successfully got it working with tmobile.
For those with tmobile here is the instructions on how to get esim working with them.
https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/co...es_how_to_activate/?utm_source=reddit-android
And here is the screen shot of me utilizing tmobile as my esim.
Thanks for all of the xda community helping out to make things possible for our phones that many of the carriers would not allow us to do.
If you insert a physical SIM from another carrier, can you receive calls on both phone numbers? Or do you have to choose which single carrier you're on an any one time?
I wish this phone could do both at once, but unfortunately I have to switch back an fourth. I read somewhere that they had a rom or hack that could on one of the older pixels, but that is not confirmed and I don't know if it really existed or if I was reading what I wanted to read.

Did anyone try to activate eSim on Verizon?
Curious if visual voicemail in the phone dialer app is working for you? I'm having an issue getting it to work on one of my pixels. I've swapped some in my phone and determined it's the pixel/line having issues... might give this a try but wanted to make sure visual voicemail works for you.

On the box. Or Sim status Eid.
using esim only works on other carriers for the unlocked phones. eid is hidden from verizon versions. you can try to remove the physical sim on those. and also most the big carriers support it. it was originally for iphones but they have problems with theirs. mine works great on tmobile. tmobile, sprint, verizon and at&t support it. i had to call in three times till the last rep just did it. if you have to explain it, the rep doesnt know what they are doing. call back and get a rep that knows what is up.
I have just flased Android Q DP1. Tapping on "add carrier", no QR code scanner is shown. It jumps to an error page directly. May I confirm if everyone has the same issue?
