[ OFFICIAL MOTO G4 PLUS OTA UPDATE] build is NPJS 25.93-14.4

Hi guys I'm from Brazil and I got this update via OTA yesterday. Nothing new, it says it's just a security update but some of my friends clains it made their battery better. So, here it's.

Just tried Magisk to make sure and worked as well.

Thanks good man, know of some notorious change how to really improve the battery or overheating there was in the 93-14?

Were you guys rooted before? If so, what exactly did you do so you could update?
I'm rooted with SuperSu and ElementalX Kernel right now. What would I need to do so I can install the OTA update, when it hits my phone?

I like too fresh install Android via abd then update and root, but you can always unroot you you are lazy to fresh install

My battery seens too be very good after this update

Can someone upload a twrp backup with this update?

I'm using Magisk for root and Substratum for theming the navigation bar. Will updating over the changes made work?
PS - The bootloader is unlocked, of course.

Magisk is fine dont know about substratum

A better 2.82 version is available, check my signature. This version has no MTP issue. Got this from Epic Rom source, maybe available on Androidfilehost.

Why are you still using SU, when Magisk is available?
It is a better solution and it is possible to bypass even safetynet

Redmi 4 Prime Rooted Global_Stock_V9.2.3.0.MBEMIEK again has no MTP on USB, SuperSu 2.82.
It does not even help with : Restore it by Adding the Following Lines in the Build.prop.
ro.adb.secure=0
persist.adb.notify=1
persist.service.adb.enable=1
persist.service.debuggable=1
persist.sys.usb.config=mtp,adb
Now reboot the Phone and it should be working

You can find a root and recovery installation guide in the android development section of D801, for 30B lollipop build

Someone else made a neat one-click style installer based off of that, which gets stuck at Download Mode(or the 'Firmware Update' part) at 45%, similar to the screenshot.

That error is on the full download.

With oxygen updater you can download him.

IDK I flashed it in twrp..... coming from liquid

is there actually a method for having root on 9.0 as i have now? (with passed SafetyNet and modules i mean)
I just wanna now if i can download and install the full OTA and reapply twrp magisk without loosing any data

You can install the update via ADB or SD Card. I've linked the guides and linked th back to this page.

You need to flash the original INS firmware(security update must end with BVI2) and then to sideload the update. TWRP is the problem.

Well ins firmware is only for f variant and odin wont let you flash it on m variant phone. You now have a compatibility issue.The beta also cannot be flashed over non INS firmware, so you cannot try the beta on m version of the phone. If you really want android 13 you can try lineage or Pixel Experience.

The beta i shared is from oneui 4.1 to beta 2, not beta 1 to beta 2

can you share beta 2 one ui 5.0 apks
