Anyone buy one? If yes, how is it?
Just ordered one, I'll post a review when it arrives.
Im waiting for mine too.
Received yesterday...
Sounds great, no distortion at all on high volume, but the battery could be a bit stronger. After the first full charge I had 3 hours on 3/4 volume.
I've got mine from my carrier to my M9 for 10.000 HUF (approximately 40USD) so its worth the price.
By Tapatalk...
Just received mine this afternoon. Typical Harman Kardon quality. Rich sound, multiple connectivity options and excellent build quality. Volume is sufficient to fill a large room.
i plan to buy also. waiting for you review..:good:
After a few week of usage i have to say its still very good. Sometimes i can hear sounds that newer heard before in a music.
The only weak point imho is the battery.
On highest volume i can reach only 4 hours. But if you have a portable battery you are good to go.

Where are you guys ordering these things? I can't find them anywhere online.
I bought mine from my carrier with my M9.

Damn, I found a couple on eBay but doesn't seem to be available for order in the US. It's listed on the HK web site but no way to order one that I can see.
Edit: Grabbed one of the ones on eBay. Apparently this is a "limited release" and HK is only selling them through select carrier outlets.
Got mine on eBay also.
Just got mine. Really nice speaker. Excellent build quality, great sound and volume for the size. Comes with a nice rigid case as well.
Not exactly cheap (got mine for $169), but you get what you pay for with this stuff.

Get it while it lasts, for $40 it can't be beat.

Just got mine on Amazon and very impressed, you can't go wrong for the price. Oh and buying from Monster to reduce the risk of getting fake ones like on Ebay.
I don't need to to go on and praise this IEM since there's already a thread on head-fi forum.

WOW thank you! Just ordered my own! That's amazing!
I just ordered these as well.
I'll report back later on the quality. Thanks for the heads up.
I just got mine today! They sound pretty good! I'm using a variety of different sources to determine their sound quality. They sound great on the G2 though!
damn i missed it off to ebay with the fake ones
The crappy Samsung earbuds that come with the awesome S6 just don't cut it for me. I've owned several HTC devices past years, and always kept their earbuds when I soled them.
Just bought couple more on eBay. HTC earbuds.
But as the S6 has exceptional sound coming from the headset jack, what earbuds are the best out there? For reasonable price! Not Sure category ☺

I've always -really- liked skull candy. not that expensive, but you have to accept theyll break in 3-6 months
Sennheiser and Audio Technica make some nice ones. You get what you pay for.
There are some real good deals to be had in the china market for ear buds if you know what your looking for. Buds that cost fractions of the big names and sound just as good if not better. Have a look at this thread on Head-Fi.org

I personally own the Havi B3 Professional 1 Version( can buy on amazon) and the Original Xiaomi Piston Earphone Updated Version Browns (these will blow your mind for $20) both are fantastic.
Monster Turbines have been great to me, excellent bass and mids and highs.
The Klpisch S4 sound fairly good for their price. They are quite easy to find for $40 -$50 on sale.

When you sign into galaxy apps
Samsung emails you a 30% coupon.
Use that on the Samsung site to buy the headphones that came with the s5 and s4
Those are actually really nice and at $20 after coupon they are a steal
Mine lasted me on average 14 months
(I've bought many for friends and family)

Hello guys,
I'm thinking of buying the phone, it seems to be a good deal. but little worried about overall support.
also could not find any accessories like screen protectors or cases or skins.
Are there anything made for this phone yet?
Also is it possible to use case and screen protectors made for other phones (similar size/design).
Please share your experience.
Thanks.
Hi,
i had the phone for more than 2 months now, and my experience with it is so good so far and i'm happy with it, for me mainly is for quick updates
i receive security updates monthly, and android n will be received on time i hope
battery is good (almost 4 hours of screen on)
screen is good
sound is loud
headphones are perfect (same shape and i think same as LG V10)
charging is fast
usb-c converter is included, which make it easier since usb-c is not spread well yet
camera is good for me, probably not for pros
flash with selfie camera is nice
texture is nice and the shape overall is good
there are some little hiccups in the system every now and then
the only problem i couldn't find explanation for yet, is when i play heavy games (asphalt 8 or so) wifi stop seeing the network, so i play it on 3g. this is the only problem for me
processor is medium for gaming
other than that, if you're buying it for anything else (except gaming and camera) it's the best you can find for its price
overall review is 9/10
one problem my friend had with his phone, that the charge stops at 50%, the problem is not solved yet
don't know yet about service centers
for accessories there are a good number of different accessories for the mobilbe, at least through internet
Hello! I have the phone for one month now and I buy accessories at AliExpress. You can find decent prices for decent quality.
GM 5 plus accessories
what about buying original accessories? i bought several different c-type cables and chargers and none of them charged phone properly! charging taking too long and the battery runs off fast. with the original everything is opposite, fast charge and goes off slowly..but the problem is that you can't reach and buy the original accessories over the internet..only in the stores by going there, and a year has past that I have this phone and still nothing happened about this..great phone except the accessories reaching..
can you link me some cases, plz ?

I've just pulled the trigger on a new V30+ (at a great price) but it doesn't come with a set of the B&O headphones (go figure). I'd like to get a set of matching B&O's to take advantage of the DAC.

My question is whether anyone has a spare set of these B&O headphones that they'd be willing to sell? Thx.

You know you don't need those specific headphones to use the DAC, right?

In the U.S. the V30+ came with "LG" quad headphones, not the B&O branded headphones.

Yep, totally. I need some new in-ears anyway so I just fancied having the whole complete original set. I've heard they're quite good....annoying they don't come with them. They do come as standard so I'm assuming they're taking them out before shipping.
Request still stands though, happy to pay a fair price for an unused set of them.
They're not taking them out. Until a couple of weeks ago, Eglobal was selling the Hong Kong version, it included the B&O earphones.
The versions Eglobal is selling right now are indian variants of the H930DS, those just don't include the earphones for India market (check your software version, it should be Vxxx-IND-xx).
But hey, you get VoLTE out of the box! HK versions don't have that.
$20 and they're yours. I've worn them for about ten minutes btw.
I have a new set in the box. Let me know if you are still interested.
Thanks.
Esteban
My 16y old daughter took my brand new B&O to make a call and munched the wire while talking and now it's broken...
I compared these headphones to other models from different manufacturers.
They play on the V plan. They are good for OEM, but compared to other headphones they are rather weak.
I think that you can buy much better headphones for 25-30 USD.
For example, RHA MA390.

*whispering* I bought a V30+ just a few days ago from BH photo video and they came with the B&O.
------------- EDIT --------------
@ChazzMatt, sorry, I was wrong, it is a pair or LG.

Right. In North America LG doesn't have the rights to B&O distribution.
I feel the B&O headphones are super weak (do not trigger high impedance mode) and very flat sounding. Anyone else experience this problem? I will gladly sell my gently used B&O's. Also have one brand new in box. Worst sounding earbuds ever.
The included B&O earbuds don't even come close to any of the retail B&O earbuds.. The only thing B&O to them is their name.. For the rest they can at best be considered as cheap OEM freebees. Don't waste your money on them. Instead get yourself Etymotic ER4 XRs. They do way more justice to the internal quad-dac....
(Or alternatively get a good pair of wireless cans such as the B&W PX or Sony WH-1000xm2)

Get BeoPlay H3 in ear wired. I own them for nearly 2 years and they're gorgeous, hit the floor many time and still working fine, wire condition is perfect. These added to LG V30 are rather low class earphones and I'm quite surprised that they're branded by B&O, it only works against them. If earphone cost 25$ you can be sure that it has nothing to do with real Bang and Olufsen sound quality.
Are they worth picking up from the essential site for $49?
I like mine.

Me too.
Anyone has any for sale? Cheaper than 49? ?
It kills me how the $49 price goes up to $61.90 for me after shipping and tax. It makes me want to wait for the new ones that OnePlus is coming out with later this year. They have a DAC in them, so I'm assuming they'll work with the PH-1.
my first pair was defective that came with the device from Essential and they replaced them immediately. I wish they were louder, looking for a good decent DAC (portable).
